Beautiful Professional Photos!

We received a photoshoot in Athens as a wedding gift and it was absolutely amazing! Our photographer took us to all the spots to capture beautiful photos. Even though it was raining a little he did a fantastic job guiding us and getting some stunning photos. Highly recommend this!

Athens Photography Tour

I had a few hours to spare in Athens during a work trip and wanted to see what photo opportunities I could find. Rather than wandering around aimlessly I was looking for a local guide and found the Athens Photography Tour and Dimitris. I then managed to forget my camera but Dimtris kindly loaned me his and also send me the images as a follow up. I really enjoyed the early morning walk around some of the famous sights of Athens and it really makes a difference if you have a local person to guide you and in this case a professional photographer as well. A highlight was the Olympic stadium as well as the old town. A very enjoyable time out from a work trip, my only regret was that I had limited time so hopefully i will get a chance to return in the future and perhaps try one of the other Athens Photography tours.

This was a terrific opportunity to explore Athens before most people were awake and be with a guide who not only knew the places to go at the right part of the morning for the best photographs, but really spent the time to work on composition. My guide, Panos, became a great friend in the few hours we had together. He was patient and a great teacher but, more importantly, he was genuinely concerned that I had the opportunity to leave with some “wall-worthy” prints. The Acropolis, of course, is the obvious subject, but we also explored the neighborhoods and back alleys to get a chance to see the Athens the locals know.

Great way to see a less familiar side of Athens

It was great walking around and seeing all the various historical landmarks, but my favorite part was all the cool side streets and alleys he showed us. Stuff off the beaten path is a bit hard to find and he definitely showed us cool spots that we wouldn't have found on our own.

An unforgettable, exemplary photo tour

This photo tour was one of the highlights of my trip! I spent an afternoon walking around with Panos and he not only taught me more about his beautiful city, but I also learned more about photography and got even more familiar with things about my camera that I hadn’t yet unlocked. He was a wealth of information and because of him, I got some of favorite shots in Greece. He was even kind enough to take some of me as we toured, since I was traveling on this part of the trip alone. So, now I have photos of me in Athens too! He was absolutely heaven sent in every way. Thank you so much for a legendary trip, Panos! Because of you, it’s one I will never forget!

The acropolis in all its glory

I booked with dimitirius 3 months ahead of the trip .I requested an evening photo trip to the acropolis and got more than what i requested .I was set up with a local photographer Theo who was not only knowledgeable but was sure i got in every possible angle during the walk .Very very happy and definetly doing more future trips with them .Can’t wait to go back for a longer trip

Full day tour of Athens

I have spent a whole day with Panos, touring Athens, I enjoyed his knowledge of local history and his suggestions for the best places to eat in town a lot, and I came home with a lot of good pictures, great day as far as I am concerned. Unforgettable experience!!

We had the most extraordinary day with Dimitris and his colleague. They met us at our villa and we went to Spetses for the day. Dimitris was fun and so very knowledgeable. He provided historical information and many tips for our photos. He also took incredible pictures of our entire group -- we are a family group of mostly kids in their 20's -- and everyone (even the older ones) had a blast. We ended up with these exquisite pictures -- memories forever.

Amazing Night Photography experience

What an amazing experience! Panagiotis was an excellent mentor and took me to all the important places to photograph Athens at night. He assisted me with the correct settings to capture the perfect images. I will encourage any photographer that are interested in night photography to book for this tour. You will get more than just excellent photographs, spending time with this professional photographer sharing his knowledge and the history of Athens with you. Wasn't a Tour

I booked the Athens Photography Tour which was suppose to include multiple places to see and photograph. Instead we stayed on one spot the entire time. Not sure what happened to the "tour". Operator was nice and very knowledgable, but there was no tour and the tour was the point of the booking.

Local perspective

Bobby took us to a number of places we had not experienced during our stay in Athens. We particularly enjoyed the Anafiotika neighborhood in Plaka. Got some great photos and he took several nice photos of the two of us

Good choice

I had a good time but it could have been longer! 4 hours would just have been perfect. That said, I had a very good time

Super HDR Sunrise Photography Tour

A super sunrise spent with Dimitris in Athens, learning the principles and practical methodology of HDR photography for landscape. Dimitris took great trouble to explain the optimal camera set up and the perfect image composition. A fantastic and highly recommendable experience.

Delightful Rapport & Fantastic Quality!!

I don't usually write reviews but the time we spent with Athens Photo Tour deserves the recognition. My wife and I hired Athens Photo tour to shoot our family of 5 during our trip to Athens. We couldn't have been more impressed with not only the quality of the photos but the connection Dimitris made with our family, which translated through the final product. When we saw our pictures, we were so amazed at the way he captured such special moments with our family. Dimitris put us at ease from the beginning, and made an attempt to get to know all 3 of our kids in a unique and special way, which I believe helped create a comfortable environment for our kids to be photographed in. Our 3 year old daughter is a little shy around strangers, especially men, but 10 mins after meeting with Dimitri, he had her laughing and dancing to a point where he was able to capture her completely at ease. The locations he selected were perfect, embodying the spirit of Athens without using cookie cutter locations we've seen in all the other shots. Dimitris also gave us quick but meaningful historical insights about each location and their significance to Athens. We highly recommend Athens Photo Tour if you're looking for someone to shoot your vacation to Athens.

Amazing tour of Athens near the Acropolis with talented photographer

Panos was kind, patient, and an amazing tour guide and photographer. We met near the entrance to the Acropolis and walked through the amazing neighborhood and sights around the area. So many amazing views and beautiful nooks and crannies, and we have it all in evidence in our beautiful photos. It was our most memorable family photo shoot to date...Panos was incredibly patient with our daughter too. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this!!

Great photography tour

We spent 2 hours meandering the streets of Athens with Dimitris teaching our 12 year old how to get the best out of her Canon SLR: how to frame images, think about the light, the position of people & buildings. He also taught her so much about her camera and found some really great niche parts of Athens we wouldn’t have found otherwise! Would heartily recommend 😀

Best experience in Athens..Athens Night Photography Tour!

Athens at night is amazing and my photography tour with Dimitris from Athens Photo Tour surpassed my expectations! Dimitris picked me up at my hotel and hand picked the best spots for night time photography in Athens. His tours are for up to 4 people, but on the night I selected, I was the only person. I mentioned a spot I wanted to see and he altered his itinerary to take me there. I would have never seen the sites he took me to if I had been on my own. If you have an interest in photographing the sites from a locals perspective, I highly recommend Athens Photo Tours!

Night Photography in Athens... Stuff of dreams!

I had the pleasure and honor of working with Takis in completing the Night Photography Tour of Athens. Takis was warm, friendly, genuine, and superb! He provided wonderful insights into composition and technique as well as sharing the special night beauty that Athens offers. It was the highlight of my time in Athens.

Best experience I had in Athens!

Dimitris is a knowledgeable, talented photographer who has patience for a novice. He explains concepts in ways that make it easy to understand. The day of my tour, we did a lot of walking in the heat, and he was very conscientious of how I was feeling, especially when climbing up several hills. If your mobility is an issue, he will modify the itinerary. Dimitris made several suggestions about where to stand to get good angles and explained various things that would improve the content of my photographs. Additionally, Dimitris is very knowledgeable about the city and its history. One of the things I loved was that, if he didn’t know something, he admitted it instead of making something up. As a result, I know I can trust the stories he told me about places we visited. This tour was the highlight of my trip to Athens. If you only book one tour in Athens, book this tour!

He also gave me some tips about how to use my iPhone that I still employ today. We had an in depth conversation about Athens and the areas we saw as well. I enjoyed it thoroughly.</p>

Surprise proposal - everything was perfect!

I got in touch with Dimi to help capture my proposal in Athens. Throughout the whole process, from contact to end photos, Dimi was fantastic. He provided a selection of shooting locations and sneakily stayed in the background as we arrived and then capturing the moment when it happened. He was extremely responsive throughout the process and brought us to great spots to take photos. For those who are shy, he even directed our poses! I cannot recommend Dimi enough, whether it is to capture any special occasion or any other photography tour!

Photograph Athens with a Working Pro!

I'm a working pro out of NYC and have pretty demanding requests. After doing a bit of research for a private photo guide in Athens, I decided on working with Dimitris. What sold me on Dimitris were his quick email responses during our discussions and his photo background as a pro. He designed for me a custom itinerary of locations to shoot, including multiple sunrise and sunset shots of the Acropolis from unique locations. Dimitris is an interesting guy and a very talented photographer in his own right. We had lots of conversations beyond just photography and he knows Athens like the back of his hand. For me working with Dimitris was like walking around Athens with an old friend.

The photos came out beautifully

We had fun, though I admit at first, it was a little awkward for us to have our photos taken but by the end of it, we were pros haha. Dimitris was great and very professional. We are very happy with the photos and had a ton to look at by the end of the shoot.

Great Photo Tour

Dimitris was an excellent guide for my photo tour. We did the sunrise tour followed by the morning walking tour. Great place for sunrise photo followed by a nice tour with a great guide. Dimitris is a very knowledgeable photographer.

Night Photo Walk

This was a wonderful walk with Banos - great tips and also excellent commentary about Athens and Greece. Banos is a great guide - very knowledgable and quite pleasant. Be prepared to walk!

Great photography Tour

I booked two separate sunrise and sunset shoot. I found Dimitris well versed in the craft of photography, quite comfortable to shoot in various lighting conditions. I came away with great images, hoped had more time to visit spots close to Athens like Temple of Poseidon. Highly recommended.

<p>It was a very nice weather on the day of our tour. It just rained for about 2 hours just before the tour, we also had to reschedule it for about 1 hour due to rains. We were the only ones for the tour that day. We liked our tour guide Dimitri. He was a professional photographer and taught us some interesting tricks. </p> <p>Overall the tour was worth it.</p>
