Early morning transfer

We had an early morning flight from Athens and needed to leave for the airport by 4:00 AM. Our driver was waiting for us at our hotel @ 3:45 AM! We appreciated his promptness!

Be mindful of texting while driving

The driver arrived on time which was greatly appreciated however, most of the time that he was driving, he was also texting at the same time on his tablet, which I felt was a little unsafe to do so especially during traffic hours, but besides that it was an enjoyable ride

Exceptional Viator Services Provided In Greece‼️

Viator provided excellent travel assistance. The driver was professional, courteous and went above and beyond our expectations. He paid to park at the Athens Airport which was extremely busy, personally walked me and my adult son into the airport, found the correct line in a chaotic situation and made a possible nightmare experience into a positive experience. While visiting multiple islands in Greece, we felt more safe with extremely low crime and all Greeks welcoming and eager to help at all times.

Disappointed with the experience

The driver was 1 hour late to pick us up to take us to the airport. We had given the company enough notice for the pickup time but the driver was still late.

30 Minutes of Waiting

I made arrangements for the driver to pick up me and my family at the hotel for the drive to the airport. The driver was almost a half an hour late, with no apologies or explanation. Had I not contacted Viator when the driver didn’t show up after 15 minutes of waiting, he might never have arrived. Fortunately, we didn’t miss our flight, but this situation was totally unacceptable. The only saving grace is that the driver was pleasant.

Great drive back to the Atena airport

The transport back to the airport was great with no issues. The driver arrived on time and made the trip back very seamless. He was knowledgeable of the area and pointed out things that made us want to return to see more.

Not a Luxury Vehicle

Driver punctual and courteous, but a taxi for three people with five pieces of luggage was definitely NOT a "spacious, luxury vehicle" as advertised. Can only guess it was because I used Viator rewards to cover the cost?

I am so glad I booked this transfer and recommend it. While it was expensive, it was perfect because we had a very early flight and no one in Greece likes getting up early. I had a secured driver who arrived early and I didn’t have to worry about it

Transfer to Athens airport

We are very glad that we had booked a private transfer to the airport as Athens public transport decided to go on strike with no trains, metro or taxies operating for the day of our departure. Booking via a private transfer meant that this did not effect our transfer for our flight, the car arrived on time without any issue.

Ride to the airport

Driver was prompt picking us up from our AirBnB on a very narrow, busy street. He loaded our bags and had us on our way in no time. Along the way he pointed out buildings and gave us mini history lessons. This pickup gave us security of being on time to the airport and not have to waste time waiting for a taxi or going on the metro. I highly recommend.

Awesome entry and exit

Wonderful drivers who give you very personal attention and very proud of their country. On the way in the driver answered all questions and told us things we did not know. Asked us if we wanted a scenic route and showed us how to get around and things we might want to see. Made our four days extremely easy. The trip to the airport was just as personal and dropped us off right at our ternmal. All the tours keys tours appeared to be this way. They for sure make us want to go back and see more

My sister and I (both...

My sister and I (both retired) were scheduled for a 9:45 am pickup from our hotel to the airport. The driver was courteous, informative, and provided pleasant conversation re the country that we were visiting as we were traveling to our destination. My concern was this: The driver comes into our hotel lobby with no sign or uniform indicating he is with Viator. The driver also does not have a sign with our names shown. The driver does not verbally indicate in a loud voice to the lobby personnel who he is or who he is scheduled to meet. So while I attended to our luggage in the lobby, my sister went outside to where our driver was sitting in his vehicle and inquired if he was there for a pickup. At that point, he graciously said yes and identified our names. As two females traveling in a foreign country, this is sort of a stressful situation.

Leaving Athens

Nice person and we had a great time talking with the driver while going back to the airport. He was at the hotel right before pick up time.

The taxi was a good size and driver was very good but I have taken a mark off because the car arrived late.
