Great service, but meeting location vague

Excellent service and enjoyable transfer from the airport. Enjoyed the excellent service and enjoyable conversation with our driver. However, it is not clear that there are more than 1 arrival hall meeting locations. Our driver was not in the arrival hall where we arrived. Many other drivers were, and it took some time, and him having us paged, before we realized he was in another arrival hall area far from the one we were in. It all worked out, but people need to know there are multiple meeting locations and receive more detailed information on the meeting location. Simply stating "arrival hall" is not precise enough when there are more than one.

Disappointed

SI was disappointed that our transfer wa not at the Athens airport to pick us up. Instead there was an email from Viator stating a refund wa being issued in 3-5 days. We never cancelled the transfer and found this very upsetting on arrival to Athens airport.

Great service

Even though Nic, the driver was a few minutes late he was very courteous and helpful. On our way to our hotel, he was talking about the different attractions close by. He gave me is card and offered his services. I actually called him to take from my hotel to the cruise port. Great guy!

Initially couldnt find driver but was very good once we phones up and sorted it. Just for future feedback to the company, maybe the drivers whatsapp number should be given to customers to contact or the driver contact the customer when waiting. When we couldnt find driver we didnt know how to go about contacting the driver etc

Athens transportation from the airport

Our driver was great! It was pretty late when we got into Athens, and he made sure that we were safely inside until we left. Which, we were glad that he did, because I gave him the wrong name of the lofts we were in. He patiently loaded us back up and drove us to our new place. Things like that really make a difference. I wish I could remember his name to give him the proper credit that he deserves!

Wonderful driver but hard to find him. There is a sea of people with names and was a search to find him.

Worst service

Driver was not at airport when we arrived; no notification or anything. I reached out to the Viator and only then were we notified that the driver was an hour away. Totally unprofessional.

What a Great Ride

It took an hour for us to get our bags and clear customs. But there was a smiling face holding a card with our name when we came out. There was a lot of traffic due to a team celebration. But we had a very comfortable ride with delightful conversation courtesy of our driver. Coming to a new country where you don't speak the language can be intimidating. We felt welcomed right away. I'd choose this company's service every time.

Taxi transfer

Wasn’t really a private transfer. Normal yellow taxi that I had to track the driver as he never came into the airport. Would have been easier, quicker and cheaper just to get a yellow cab myself.

Wish I Did More Research Before Booking

Probably worst private airport transfer you can book. They don’t tell you what kind of vehicle it is until you arrive so if you have more than 3 bags then forget about it. It’s much easier to just take a taxi to your destination. The rude driver asked us to take our luggage in a separate taxi behind his car. I would say to stay away from this service.

Athens Airport Pick up and transfer to City Hotel

Our flight from the UK was about an hour late, arriving about 17:30, but once we had retreaved our baggage we headed to the exit. We were met by quite a few people with name boards, ours was among them. Our driver took two of our cases and walked with us to the taxi stand were he asked us to wait till he got his car. He dully arrived and we set of to the centre of Athens to our hotel. The roads were very busy, our trip took about an hour if I remember correctly. There was a lot of lane changing going on by other drivers and overtaking on bothsides. We dully arrived safely and I would certainly use the service again if I needed to.

Our driver was standing outside customs with a sign. It was a 5 minute walk to the car. The car was nice and clean. Overall it was easy to find our driver and we had an uneventful drive to our hotel. I would recommend to friends.

Our driver met us promptly at the airport holding a sign with our name clearly visible. The van was comfortable & the driver gave us details of the local history as we passed the landmarks. We did have to walk a short distance to our VRBO because it was located on a pedestrian walkway in the center of Plaka close to everything! Very happy experience!
