Athens: Acropolis Museum Ticket with Self Guided Audio options

Museum great. viator partner not.

Museum wonderful so review for Viator process in Athens. Tickets did not arrive in email the day prior. Took 3 calls the morning of museum visit to local agency Viator uses to obtain tix. Tix from agent also don’t scan at museum entrance either. Do not recommend.

Spacious and interesting.

Beautiful architecture of the museum with many interesting items displayed. The models of the Acropolis at the beginning were a great start.

Excellent activity! Must go see it!

All went well and turned out great! The museum tour was excellent. We really enjoyed it. It was educational. Thank you!

Bad Experience at the Museum

The tickets were not sent to me the day before! I called Viator to get them resent and then when sent, I could not open the files. After multiple ways to open the files with no success, I had to buy two more tickets for $30. Not happy to pay two times for the same tickets!

Fab museum!

Visit to this museum is a must. To see some of the original pieces of the Parthenon and the Acropolis was simply amazing.

Don’t miss this museum

The ticket was easy to use and skip the long lines in the morning, but we all 3 had trouble with the audio app on our phone so we just toured on our own. Don’t miss the ruins underneath the building which you must get to outside the museum.

Poor narration, and difficult to follow.

Two of the four audio guides I ordered did not work. The ones that did work were difficult to understand. It was also difficult to follow her narration through the museum. I would not recommend buying this tour. I think when you go there, you can buy an audio tour from the museum.

Good excursion

Presentation is very informative.. lower level closes earlier at 7:30pm so we sadly didn’t get to see it,

Acropolis museum

The museum was lovely. Particularly the movies giving historical context. Also, the historic city upon which the museum was built was absolutely fascinating and very well done. We also purchased the audio which was hard to follow because it did not align with the numbers on the pieces being discussed. It was a nice place to spend a hot afternoon.

Easy entering with pre purchase tickets! Wonderful experience knowing you already have the tickets! This is why I always purchase them n advance with Viator!

A must-see experience to understand the history of the Acropolis

Learnt a lot about the Acropolis history especially about the upper class people that lived at that and made dedications.

Acropolis museum

A lovely modern museum highlighting all the artifacts found in recent excavations. Light and airy and cool after the heat of the Acropolis.

Wonderful museum experience.

Great museum. Impressive artifacts. Staff were extremely helpful. Skip the lines tickets made entry easy.

All worked Well and we Enjoyed the Museum

We did not have any issues going in. The code sent the day before opened the automated gate. The audio guide download worked well enough, but there were several times that I had difficulty locating the next/correct statue/frieze/artifact in the audio tour description.

Bad experience

I couldn’t access the audio guide. Bad bad bad navegation. I downloaded the app and followed the instructions.

What an awesome museum. Very well planned and laid out. Plenty of room and artefacts to look at. Would highly recommend.

Most convenient!

Again a very convenient skip the line ticket. Walked in & opened my barcode sent to me via email, scanned and we were in! It has some no-photograph zones.

The voucher supplied was not valid for entry at the museum

The museum was ok however, the voucher supplied was not recognised by the museum and we were denied entry using it! Rather disappointed!!

Barcode didn’t work

My tickets did not work… I had t wait in line and spend a long time with the Museum worker and then the Museum manager to try to get the barcode to work. It didn’t work. Very frustrating

Bad experience

The tickets emailed to me without bar code and was not actually tickets.I discovered that on the gate and no time to fo anything other than buying new once ..they emailed the e tickets later but it was too late i was already there
