Wonderful Experience with Jimmy

Jimmy was one of the most informative and knowledgeable guides we've had on our many family vacations. He took us to many sites and stops we would not have known about otherwise and made visiting all the sites very easy by dropping us off and picking us up right from the entrances and exits. I had even just mentioned Mountain Tea, so he was kind enough to give us a gift of mountain tea from a local shop in Nafplio. He took us everywhere we asked him to, plus a few extras. He even got us back in time to Athens for our dinner reservation. Highly recommend!!

Great Day with the Ancients

Our trip to the ancient ruins of Corinth, Mycenae, Epidaurus and Nafplio was one of the highlights of our three weeks in Greece. HP Tours provided a comfortable van and a great driver, Michael. Michael was calm, competent and seemed to truly enjoy acquainting the four of us with his homeland of Greece. The optional videos provided good general preparation for each archeological site. Our lunch stop was the best seafood imaginable. Thanks for having the cold water the the umbrellas when we needed them! Michael pointed out other sites and vistas along the way--something to look forward to next trip to Athens. We would pick HD Tours again!

Fun Trip

Worth it- to see locations outside Athens

This was a fantastic experience that only a private tour could provide. Nancy was an incredible guide, gave us tons of knowledge around each location and answered all our questions. Communication was great, driving was a breeze and would highly recommend

Best Day in Athens!

Our driver, Panos and another driver in training, Isidoros, picked us up at the airport to begin a wonderful day. We were so lucky to get the both of them. We thoroughly enjoyed the different perspectives they each brought. I can't recommend this tour and this company enough. They were wonderful every minute of the day, catering to our every need. We enjoyed each stop on the tour but we also learned so much during the drive. We also hired a private tour guide, Theo, who met us at each stop and gave our family a personal tour full of historical context. If you don't do any other tours while in Greece, do this one! Ask for Panos for your driver and Theo for your tour guide. They were magnificent!

Family trip to Argoils and Porto Heli

Our experience was amazing. Our driver Panos is a lovely person, he came to pick us up from our apartment in Athens, had fresh bottles of water for our trip, had a lot of knowledge about the road and sites along the way. We had a few stops in Naflion and mycenae and also stopped for lunch at a sea front restaurant. The vehicle was very comfortable, and the whole day was just great. Would definitely recommend and use them again.

Beautiful Tour with personalization

This touring company really knows to treat people well. They also helped and made great suggestions beyond the tours. They took us to the best sight seeing places, local places for shopping and best local restaurants with views. I highly recommend this touring company to everyone. The private tours is the best way to have it customize and personalized for your needs. They even bought us the Nafplius Oranges for free for us 😍

Superb experience! We took the tour in 2021 at the end of August. The driver was very friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. We highly recommend this private tour! We would take another private tour with them again if we were to visit Greece again.

Wonderful Argolis tour

Excellent Transportation and Touring.

(Note- in addition to taking the Argolis Full Day tour, we also had them pick us up at the Airport when we arrived. Kostos was there early, and did a great job of suggesting places to eat near our hotel on a Sunday night. ) The Argolis full day tour is a great way to get out of the cityscape of Athens and to see a lot of beautiful countryside. Not only we we happy to see Kostas again as the driver, but were also fortunate to have Helen as our guide. Helen did an excellent job of clarifying the different periods of history we were encountering, offered some interesting insights into many of the common misconceptions, and her insight as an archeologist was excellent. If you don't have at least one day-trip outside of Athens, you are missing out, and I would seriously consider this tour.

Amaizing Greece

The one day tour to Argolis end up been a wonderful adventures, seeing historic places and savoring great food from the Peloponnese area.

Another WONDERFUL trip to Greece using HP Tours!

It should speak volumes that after our last trip to Greece 3 years ago, we came back to use Frank and HP Tours again this summer! I can't say enough good things about Frank and his team. We had the pleasure of using HP Tours for 5 trips during our 3 week stay in Greece. The longest of our tours was the Argolis Full Day Tour but we also used Frank for each leg of travel from the airport and to Piraeus port. With 6 people in our party and lots of luggage, it made it SO much easier than using multiple taxis. We had the upmost pleasure of working with Kosta and Ioanna during our tours and stops. The full day Argolis Tour was amazing and JAM packed with things to see of ancient Greece. From the second we got into the car, Kosta and Ioanna made sure we had cold water and were comfortable. I would call them a dynamic duo for sure! Ioanna's knowledge of history in Greece was amazing and she wanted to make sure we saw it all and got the full experience. If she saw something we would enjoy, she would stop and show us. By the end of the day, we had seen some of the most amazing sites of Greece in the Peloponnese area. Even after the long day, Kosta and Ioanna still had HUGE smiles on their faces...they never once seemed tired of the journey. Thank you Frank for taking care of us and giving us a fantastic team to work with. We will see you again when we return in 2 years. You have become family to us and our three boys continue to ask when they will get to see you again! Thank you!

Argolis Tour - Wonderful day trip!

This tour company was wonderful to work with! They were very responsive to emails and answered many of our questions. We did the full day Argolis tour and we were truly gone for approx 11 hours. We never felt rushed at the different sites. Our driver was kind and informative. We wished that he had given us some more background information on the sites we were heading to. One of us wanted to carve out a bit of time to see the komboloi museum in Nafplio and he made sure we were able to get there with time. Highly recommend if you want to get out of Athens on a day trip and see more of the country!

Wonderful tour

We did the Argolis full day tour and it was very worthwhile. The cost is very reasonable when you consider the duration of the tour. Our driver Kostas and guide Ioanna were terrific and very informative. We learned a lot of history and it was good to see the area outside of Athens. Highly recommend!

Argolis full day tour

Our tour with H.P. Tours was wonderful and memorable thanks to our driver Kostas. Kostas is knowledgeable, warm, friendly, and professional. He can inform you of all aspects of the Greek culture, give you insight and information on the sites, and is very accommodating and flexible to your needs. We constantly took extra time at the sites to enjoy them (we might never see them again!) and he never made us feel rushed. When we apologized since it was getting late, he just made us feel very welcome and happy to be there. He also has the best food recommendations. We had our best food in Greece thanks to him (and our best desserts). You will be very lucky if you get Kostas as a driver since he is such an amazing person, but we also hope he gets some time off because he works so hard!

Super pleased with the Peloponnese

HP tours did a great job organizing all the events of the day. They coordinated picking us up directly from our hotel and the minibus was equipped with wifi and water. Frank, our tour guide, was both friendly and professional. He had a substantial knowledge base and easily targeted our tour towards our specific interests and needs. Very well spoken and his English was great. He even taught us all the most helpful greek words and phrases! Highly recommend. When I go back to Greece, I will be using them again for other tours.
