We had a fantastic day trip to follow the steps of the Apostle Paul. Nikolaus was a phenomenal guide and he gave us on of the best experiences. I highly recommend him for your trips. An Overwhelming and Excellent Tour

Our Driver was amazing! He was friendly, courteous, well informed, kind hearted man. He picked us up at our hotel, kept us engaged with lots of information on the sites we were going to be visiting throughout the day. Answered all of our questions with enthusiasm. He had water bottles ready for us at all times. Drove safely! Just an incredible tour guide. Sites were extraordinary and overwhelming. We are so glad that we did this tour!

Perfect Day in Greece

This was an excellent choice for our day. My mom and I were coming off a Celestyal cruise and planning to self-drive most of our time in Greece... however we didn't want to deal with trying to navigate the big city of Athens. So I booked this tour to pick us up at the cruise port and drop us at our rental station at the end of the day. Our driver was very friendly and spoke good English. We were pleasantly surprised to received several very interesting books about the locations we were visiting as part of the tour... and he also played us a number of videos with excellent information which made the drive pass quickly. As clearly noted in Greece Taxi's info the driver is not a guide and cannot accompany you into the archaeological sites -- however, they are very good about showing you exactly where to go and answering any questions, making it very easy to experience everything at your own pace. Our driver also introduced us to a fascinating elderly gentleman in Corinth who has spent more than 40 years hand painting beautiful museum replicas -- pricing was very reasonable... if we'd visited Corinth on our own we would have missed him so this was a highlight of the day. Overall... if you prefer a private independent style of touring, don't hesitate to book with Greece Taxi, it's an excellent choice!

A great day learning about Athens and Corinth.

Christos is amazed driver and tour guide. Very knowledgeable and informative. Talks just the right amount—helpful and engaging. Never got tired of our questions!! Super easy and accommodating. Great insights on many different topics. Patient driver and we never felt rushed.

Amazing tour of Ancient Corinth and area

An awesome day spent with Spiiros. Highly recommend private tour that can be customized to meet individual wants/needs. We visited the Corinthian canal, Port of Kenchreai where Paul sailed from Corinth to Ephesus, site of the 4th century Isthmian Games, Akrokorinthos Castle, St Paul’s Church and mural, and Ancient Corinth ruins with Temple of Apollo and Bema where Paul was brought to judgement for false teaching.

It was an amazing experience to be at the palace where Apostle Paul stood 2000 years ago. Reading the scriptures gives a new perspective after being to Corinth. A special thanks to our wonderful guide Christos who is knowledgeable and made sure we got to spend enough time to explore.

Fantastic tour! Wonderful experience!

The whole trip was amazing! Loved our driver Christos! He even showed us videos on the Apostle Paul in Corinth and some others relating to Apostle Paul. He was very helpful and directed us to a wonderful seafood restaurant at one of the stops. Definitely worth doing if you are interested in going to Ancient Corinth, Corinth and Athens.

Corinth experience

Hiking up to the temple of Aphrodite. The views were amazing and the flowers were in bloom. Later we had a great lunch in town with excellent view of the temple of Apollo. We met a local artesian who painted pottery. It really was a perfect day. Christo our guide was wonderful .

Amazing Ruins

The acropolis and corinth ruins were the best part. Our driver provided us with umbrellas and a phone charger.

Wonderful, Customized, Private Tour at a Great Price

Our group of four St. Paul enthusiasts could not have been happier with this tour. For starters, one of our group was feeling very ill at breakfast, probably due to dehydration. Petros, our driver, kindly accommodated us by waiting a couple of hours at our request to pick us up. Once we had hydrated our friend and he felt better, lovely Petros picked us up and off we went. We didn't need the Acropolis portion, as we had seen that the day before, so it all worked out. Corinth was a wonderful experience, and we had plenty of time to explore both the grounds and the museum there. At our request, Petros also drove us up to Acrocorinth to see the castle and the amazing views. Next, he took us a great seaside restaurant in Loutrakis, where we had some of the most delicious food of our two-week trip. HUGE portions, great view of the sparkling sea across the way. As we were eating, we all noticed a small cruise ship heading for the Corinth Canal, but we did not realize that it was the very ship we would be boarding the next day. When Petros drove us over to see the canal, lo and behold, there was our ship, just entering! So, we got to take pictures both from above the ship in the canal that day, and then, the next day, going through the canal from the ship's bow! Petros was more than accommodating--he was as enthusiastic about our good fortune as we were! By the time the day was over, we felt like friendly, good-natured Petros was part of our family. He was a great driver, too, which is an important element of any tour, especially in Greece! Thank you, new friend Petros. We honestly can never express our appreciation enough for a day made even more wonderful because YOU were a part of it. We really felt the value for the dollar of this day-long trip was outstanding.

Phillip was an amazing tour guide! He was very knowledgeable of the Apostle Paul and his time in Athens and Corinth. Phillip is an expert in all things Greece and can answer any questions you may have. Can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed this tour! Looking forward to coming back again someday.

A Walk Through History

Our group of four (one teen, two fifty-somethings, and one senior) thoroughly enjoyed our own 7 day version of the Apostle Paul tour. Nikolaos was our driver and did a great job of introducing us to the historical sites, dropping us off right at the gate, choosing lovely little boutique hotels for overnights, and making sure we got to sample the very best authentic Greek food (no touristy restaurants on this itinerary!). His lovely wife Angela was also very welcoming and helped us feel right at home. We enjoyed having the privacy/space of our own van without the stress of driving. And we were blown away by the variety and magnitude of sites that we visited. From still-active monasteries precariously located at the pinnacles of the Meteora rock formations, to the sprawling archeological site of Philippi where we saw a jail cell that may have been where Paul and Silas were imprisoned, to the burial site of Phillip II, and the Aristotle School where Alexander the Great was educated. Nikolaos makes sure you experience these, but also Greek coffee, hot springs, splendid scenery, and more! He accommodated all our requests for side visits (including a bookstore!), and he handled the driving with a reassuring expertise - especially in the crowded metropolis of Thessaloniki! We highly recommend this tour!

Great Private Tour - I'd love to do this again

My husband and I took an extended (10-night) Apostle Paul tour with Nikolaos, and it was excellent! The sites he chose were relevant and interesting . . . and the fact that he drove (safely) everywhere, dropped us off at entrances, picked us up when we were done, selected and arranged the hotels, etc., took all the hassle out of the trip - which meant all we had to do was enjoy it. We went all the way up to Neapoli and Philippi and down to Corinth, Sparta, and Nemea. If you have a limited time - ask Nicolaos for recommendations of how best to spend it given your interests. He will cater the tour experience to you. It is personalized. Nicolaos provided excellent, interesting historical information along the way, helping us really appreciate the places we visited. Nicolaos takes appropriate measures to deal with covid.
