Excursion was good. Ancient Corinth is a very impressive site and the museum is excellent However, the trip was expensive and, in our view, over priced.

Awesome private experience to Corinth

Sophia and the driver were amazing on our trip to Corinth visiting the canal, the ruins, Apollo’s temple, and an extra special place on the way. We had free time to eat lunch and enjoy the ancient Corinth town.

The sites and experience were captivating. Our tour guide was very welcoming, knowledgeable, and accommodating. This was the highlight of our trip to Greece.

Outstanding service, tour, and overall day! Terry provided rich information about the historic sites and showed us a wonderful day. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and Terry's professionalism and hospitality. I travel twice a year to Athens for work and always use CATTaxi for transfers and tours. Excellent Tour

Our driver (Demetri?) was very friendly and conscientious and he pointed out extra things to see along the way. He never rushed us through the sites and gave us all the time we needed.

Great experience visiting Ancient Corinth with our family!

We booked this trip a few weeks in advance and were pleased to get Terry as our guide as he's had quite a few, well deserved, shout outs in these reviews. He promptly picked us up from our Air BnB near the Acropolis and was flexible on pick-up times. Once we started, it was clear Terry had a lot of knowledge of the area and of its history. He made a couple of impromptu stops for pictures and places of interest to us. While he wasn't able to join us on the actual tour of Ancient Corinth he did a great job preparing us and giving us directions for what to see. Overall we were pleased with the experience and our kids (ages 14 & 17) also said it was one of their highlights. I would gladly recommend Terry and CAT Taxi to anyone interested in a tour!

Great Tour Company

After much research, we booked with CATTaxi for a private/custom tour of Ancient Corinth and Corinth canal cruise. Terry responded immediately to my request for information and he agreed to add the canal cruise to our itinerary at no extra charge (except the cost of the cruise fee). His prices are reasonable and we also booked a pick up at the airport in Athens when we arrived. He sent back a very professional and detailed confirmation with a confirmation # which made it easy to communicate with him. Unfortunately, my husband’s auto-immune disease made it unadvisable to travel at this time so we had to cancel our trip. When I communicated this with Terry, he did not hesitate to issue a full refund and wish my husband well. It is no wonder why CATTaxi gets such good reviews. We will definitely be going to Athens and we will rebook this itinerary with CATTaxi.

Excellent

I am 64 and travelling with adult son for support as I have trouble walking long distances (heart problems ) and osteoporosis and knee foot problems so find stairs and uneven ground difficult to walk on. Terry went extra mile and upgraded us at no charge to a minivan for my comfort. So much easier to get in an out off. He was friendly, informative and extremely helpful. He arranged us a guide, at our cost, for the ancient city of Corinth. He arranged on who would be happy to take me at my pace and he arranged to meet us at exit rather than making me walk up hill to meet him. Would thoroughly recommend CATTAXI for a tour. And to Def hire a guide for the ruins.

We spent a full day touring Ancient Athens, the canal and also Epidarius and Napflio.It was a wonderful experience and our driver was very good. Just remember that your driver is not a tour guide and you will need to enlist your own if you want narrative (we did not) and also pay for any entrances fees on your own. But so glad we did that tour!

I cannot say enough about how great this tour was!

I loved this tour! My guide was Dimitris. He was on time for pick-up at my hotel in Athens in the morning. He was courteous, friendly and knowlegeable. The vehicle was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. On the way to Corinth, Dimitris got me delicious frappuccino from his favorite cafe...Nice! I really appreciated Dimitris's positive attitude to go an extra mile for me. Knowing that I am a pastor on a study leave, he took me to extra places that were not on the itinerary (on top of Ancient Corinth and Corinth Canal)....such as Acrocorinth, the port near Corinth where Apostle Paul left for Ephesus, and a hill to view the entire city of Athens. I liked him so much that I reserved him again to take me to the airport the following day. My flight was in the later afternoon. So I visited the National Archaeology Museum in the morning. While I was there, I texted Dimitris to see if he could pick me up at the museum instead of at the hotel. He said 'yes', and even offered to pick up my luggage at the hotel before picking me at the museum. Very thoughtful. On our way to the airport, again he went an extra mile and took me to a 1000 year old monastery, called Kaisariani. That was beautiful and a great way to top off the amazing journey!

We Loved this tour! When I booked it, I thought I was just paying for a cab driver to get me to point A to point B. Oh but was I wrong!! This tour guide was awesome ! He met us at our hotel on time. He was super nice and friendly. He showed us extra sights on the way!!! While we drove to Corinth, he gave us a little history lesson which was so interesting ! I can’t say enough about this tour!!! If I could give it 6 stars , I would !

Ancient Corinth and Corinth Canal Cruise

Terry Drakakis of CATTaxi met our group at the cruise ship in Paraeus the morning of our disembarkment and took us to our hotel in Athens pointing out various items of interest along the way. He is a very pleasant and accommodating driver. After we dropped off our luggage he took us on a private tour to the Corinth Canal, where we embarked on a cruise of the canal, and then on to Ancient Corinth. His passion and knowledge for Greece and its history are phenomenal. His new Mercedes Minivan was very comfortable and even has WiFi capability to connect to the Internet. The following day he arranged transport from the hotel to the airport. Terry would be an excellent tour guide for anyone wishing to visit Athens and its environs. We highly recommend him and CATTaxi . The local, distilled spirit, Metaxa, is rated with five, seven and twelve stars. We can do no less for Terry and CATTaxi than to rate them twelve stars--TripAdvisor, however, tops out at five stars.

Wonderful boat tour of the Canal as well as visit to Ancient Corinth

We used CATTaxi as both a taxi service (picking us up at the cruise ship, taking us to our hotel and taking us to the airport when we left Athens) as well as a private tour to the Corinth Canal and the ancient city of Corinth. Terry, our driver from the ship and for the Canal tour, was most pleasant and accommodating and the driver we had for the airport was excellent as well. Highly recommend this taxi and tour company.

Fantastic private tour

We had a private tour with Terry and cannot recommend it enough. Terry was very personable, informative, flexible and interesting. The entire day was so pleasant and relaxed, the car was immaculate and the driver was wonderful.

Great Tour, Worth every penny! Highly recommend!

Me and my wife took this tour and it was so much more than we expected. The taxi was clean, comfortable, and a joy to ride in. Our guide had a strong grasp the history of Greece and brought great local insight to each location. We even got a few off the path views of new ruins which was really great and not something you can see on a bus tour. We set the pace and our driver was mindful to give us the space to go and do what we wanted. I highly recommend this and can’t express enough how well this excursion went! Thank you so much!

An Excellent Private Tour to Ancient Corinth and the Canal

We (my wife and I) had a private tour to Ancient Corinth and to the Corinth Canal. The tour was much more than we expected. The tour guide Terry Drakakis was most personable and friendly and conversant in English which was helpful. He provided excellent commentary on the area and and its history. We were very pleased!

<p>Our guide was Demitrios. He started the day by taking us to his favorite coffee spot and got all of us a Greece specialty coffee and then we headed off to Corinth. He knows a lot of Greek mythology and told us stories as well as pointed out the sites along the way. We saw the newly burned areas of the horrible Athens fire. We stopped at the Corinth canal and he even took photos for us--which was true the whole trip. We went to Corinth and toured the museum and site on our own and then he took us to AcroCorinth--the fortress for amazing views. We then went back to Athens and he drove us to a monastery that he said was wonderful, but due to approaching rains, was closed early but then to the church on the hill that overlooks Athens! What amazing sights! He recommended places for us to eat in the Plaka and dropped us off. We then ate in the Plaka and toured the Agoura on our own. We opted to be dropped off there and then made are own way back to the hotel. Demitrios went above and beyond the description. He was wonderful and everyone should take this tour!</p>

Perfect Day

Terry was on time and friendly. He immediately established why we chose this tour and catered his history discussions to our interests. He took us where the tour was scheduled to go and threw in a few extra stops to make the trip more than we hoped for. Doing a private tour allowed us the time we needed to see all of what we wanted to see in Corinth. To have done this tour with a larger group would have shortened and lessened our experience. This was definitely the way to go for us.

Great Experience

We went to this tour on the last day of Greece travel. The time was so efficiently managed and we enjoyed Ancient Corinth and Corinth Canal. The mountain climbing to the temple of Aphrodite was a great experience. The driver Michael gave us good information around the area and its history although he is not a professional guide. We liked all, the tour itself, the driver and the company. I strongly recommend this tour.

Excellent one day tour!

Dimitris was an excellent guide! He took us to ancient corinth and to see the corinth canal. He let us take as long as we needed. He also took us to the castle on the acropolis in Corinth and bought us coffee and a snack. He even took us to run an errand we needed to do and took us to our next tour! He told us a lot of great info on the way down and back but didn't talk too much. It was a great day! I highly recommend Dimitris!

Great trip with Terry

We had a wonderful day visiting Ancient Corinth with Terry. He was very informative and was able to answer all our questions. He was very polite with a sense of humour and knew when we just wanted to soak up the scenery without chatting. Terry was a very safe driver and we decided to do another trip with him going to Cape Sounion. He knew we were very interested in the history of Athens and took the time to show us a number of extra sites not usually on these trips.. We would thoroughly recommend Terry as your driver, we certainly felt that having a personal guide was good value for the money spent. We will certainly be using Terry for our next trip to Athens

He was very professional, courteous, warm, sharing a lot of history just the right amount on our way from the hotel in Athens to Ancient Corinth. We strolled through the ruins as well as seeing the museum. We also stopped at both the top on the bridge and bottom of the Corinth Canal which was very exciting. We asked Terry to find a seaside restaurant specializing in seafood and he found the perfect one for us! We urged him to join us, but he would not, leaving us to enjoy our meal, discreetly waiting nearby. We had a fabulous meal literally on the beach at a wonderful restaurant. He could not do enough to please us</p>

The guides were super knowledgeable and incredibly friendly. They took us all around Corinth, showed us some small gems that other tours were not hitting and even hosted us for coffee and a treat at a local cafe. I cannot say enough good things about these guys. We were engaged in conversation most of the day and they could not have been nicer or more polite. They even took the time to show us some local restaurants in Athens where we needed to eat - and they both were incredible spots and super low priced. I want to see them again when we return to Athens.</p>
