Acropolis and Slopes Skip-the-Line Ticket

Wrong ticket

Tripadvisor/Viator sent me the wrong ticket. It was labeled for the Acropolis, but it was not an Acropolis ticket. Had to get in line and buy a ticket on site.

A must see site.

Acropolis is must see place. Ticket could have better directions to the entry points. almost missed our entry time because circled whole mountain looking for entry.

Acropolis is amazing

This was definitely worth seeing. TripAdvisor has a great customer service and I really appreciate that. It was super easy very organized having the tickets already.

Tickets do not work!!!! Do not buy

We got to the acropolis and the ticket had a bar code and not a QR code. The bar code was apparently for the museum, which we did not want, so we had to walk all around looking for the correct museum. And each place we told us, so that that was not the correct code to get in. The tickets were not good for anything and it is a total scam. Luckily the actual ticket office on site still had tickets available for a lower price later in the day. I will be pursuing a full refund as this was a terrible experience, and we did not get anything for our money except wasted time and energy. The official acropolis website is difficult to navigate so I suggest going early in the morning, purchasing tickets on site, and coming back at a later time to enter.

Acropolis

Incredible place, go early to avoid the crowds and the heat. I recommend wearing sturdy shoes that have soles with good grip. The walking down can be quite dangerous and witnessed a few people fall.

Off season a great time to travel

Fast and also doing off season was a great time to go as the Acropolis was not too busy and the weather not too hot

Great tour! Must see!!

Great tour of the Colosseum Underground!! Definitely a must see! You're not seeing all of the Colosseum if you don't do the Underground. Our tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable (and funny)!! Her name was Fea and she was wonderful!!! Great tour company! Very easy to work with and very easy to find to start tour.

No QR code on my “Not a Ticket”

After many times daily trying to download the QR code which was to be emailed. I received a Not A Ticket without a QR code. I had to call customer service to resolve a very simple issue the day of our tour. We figured there would be someone at the acropolis that would help but there was no one. Very frustrating…

Viator did not send QR code for entrance. Had to call, waited 1 hour for help. Poor service!

None. I was never sent my tickets with the barcode. Everytime I click on the link. It would show the information and show this is not your ticket.

Upsetting

Could not down load the tickets, was not able to use them. Was not clear on process. If this was the first time using your service I would not use it again..

Good way to reserve your admission to the Acropolis

The tickets worked for reserving our time at the Acropolis. It was extremely crowded when we got there at 9:45 for our 10 AM ticket. I don’t know if it might be better to get there on the half hour… If less people all arrive at the same time? Not sure, but very crowded.

Not worth buying through here - it's a second party - and faster at Acropolis

Do not book Acropolis skip-the-line through Viator. The tour operator and Viator are not recognized by Hellenic Tours who runs all things Acropolis. The directions consistently state that the ticket you receive is a voucher not a ticket. Then the directions state you will be emailed the tickets. I was never emailed the tickets by the tour operator. I clicked on "email tickets" and only got the voucher again. I got screenshots of directions again within the app, that didn't have the QR codes to get in. When I arrived, I had to buy another set of tickets.

Beautiful!

Loved the view from up there! This has been on my bucket list and now I've seen it up close! Easy to get in with advance tickets. Get there early -- it wasn't crowded when we went but there was a lineup all the way down when we were coming down.

Great way to see the...

Great way to see the Acropolis without the hassle of standing in line for tickets. Very busy site. We went to the Acropolis at 8:30AM and by the time we were leaving between 10:30-11 there was a long line up for tickets.

Email ticket issues

When they send me the e ticket it was only for 1 person when I bought for 2. Did not understand that because the ticket was written in Greek but the invoice send by email states purchase of 2 tickets. Fortunately, ticket was only 10€ , so we just went to buy another ticket and it's Nov the crowd was not there and the ticket was low season pricing. Hope TripAdvisor shall look into this matter as it does not give me motivation to book with TripAdvisor the next time.

Acropolis Visit

Great view of history, beautiful structures! A surreal moment that takes you back in time imagining how the structures were utilized during their period of history.

One in a life time experience

The Parthenon, seeing the ancient architecture was astounding. This was a on one a life time experience and the walk up was definitely worth it

The tickets do not work. They have a bar code and not QC code. The company won’t help! Do not get these! Day ruined!

We downloaded the tickets with bar code. The Acropolis only takes QC code. This company wouldn’t believe me so I have to start a whole thing. The day was ruined and we had to buy new tickets. Do not get these just go to Acropolis. Not a big line don’t be taken in!

Amazing experience

It was an amazing experience, very beautiful place with a nice view from Athens. The weather was good

Bad experience

I will not book with tripadvisor again for the Acropolis - they only sent me one bar code and I had to purchase the second onsite for my husband to gain entry. I called the customer service and they were no help and I am waiting to hear from them for my refund for one ticket. Tara

Do not use

Don’t use it. I paid to get tickets which were never sent to me. I have no idea why Tripadvisor is promoting them. Use the official Greek website to book tickets.

Get the skip the line COMBO ticket - well worth it!

We purchased ONLY the Skip the Line for Ticket for the Acropolis and Slopes, and the tickets were e-mailed 4 days prior so that we could print them. We didn't think we would have time for the other sites offered in the COMBO ticket. In turned out we did have time, and we paid for each additional site and we wasted time waiting in tickets lines...Get the COMBO skip the line ticket -- a great deal!

I had to pay twice

This company are fraudulent. They never sent me any tickets. I just got an email saying "this is not your ticket". I tried to collect tickets from their office in Athens. There was no street number in the address, so I could not find the travel agent that issued the tickets. The national tourist office had never heard of them. They never answerd the phone. I had to buy tickets at the Acropolis, so I wasted 26 Euro on 2 tickets, and lost 1 hour during my afternoon

Excellent experience

Excellent experience. It's a shame that the official website for Latin American cards doesn't work. The TripAdvisor service was perfect, but it was more expensive. And when we arrived there were 10 people to buy tickets. We couldn't risk not getting

Magica avventura

L’acropoli vale il biglietto ( 20€ Su internet ci sono i prezzi non aggiornati) peccato che il partenone sia in ristrutturazione e non ci si possa avvicinare . Il museo dell’ acropoli vale per la struttura in sè belle le ricostruzioni del partenone e le cariatidi Se arrivi presto non c’è bisogno di prenotare il biglietto salta coda( periodo dei morti). L’agorà solo con biglietto ridotto ( 5€) ne vale la pena altrimenti si può vedere tutto dal perimetro esterno. Consiglio la taverna aris per cena o pranzo economica e caratteristica ( anche glutin free)

Ikke fornøyd med agenten.

Desverre fikk jeg ingen pdf billett. Ente opp med å betale for nye biletter. Her burde tur agent virkelig ta seg sammen!for dem av dere som ønsker billetter anbefaler jeg å kjøpe direkte. I inngangen er det rabatter for grupper, familie osv. Akropolis var da fantastisk!!!

Surounding acropolis

Visit athens, und erkunde die Stadt zu Fuss . Wir hatten 3 volle Tage und sind jeden Tag ca 25km marschiert. Gute leichte sommerschuhe sind wichtig unsere Unterkunft war zentral 10min zum monastiraki Platz dort ist immer was los und dort haben wir meist auch gegessen Mittag und abends. Alle Leute sind sehr freundlich. Der akropolishuegel ist ein muss. Empfehlung dort sein wenn aufgesperrt wird. Da sich dann lange Schlangen bilden hinfahren und ansehen es lohnt sich LG david

Matinée à l’Acropole

Très belle excursion. Nous avions pris un guide privé, un plus pour la visite. A faire tôt le matin ou en fin de journée pour éviter la horde de touristes.

Ticket onbruikbaar

Kon ticket niet gebruiken en heb ter plaatste nieuw ticket moeten kopen. Ontving na boeken een melding dat ticket geprint moest worden en had geen beschikking over printer. Waardeloos.
