2-Day Private Delphi and Meteora Sightseeing Tour

Amazing trip

We loved this trip. My daughter wanted to see Delphi and I wanted to see Meteora. My husband was up for all of it! We had the most amazing drive Michael who got us from our hotel. He was personable and knew so much about Greek culture. We loved the individual guides we had at each site. We had so much fun at the monasteries! At one monastery we got to meet several men working on rebuilding and restoring which was awesome! On the trips, we had the best food at local restaurants and amazing service too. I am the one who plans the trips and Terry at Cattaxi was so responsive to all of my questions! This made planning the trip so easy.

Magical Meteora!

We booked the overnight trip to Meteora. Fanis and Sofia were our driver and guide annd they made our trip absolutely magical. They both were so hospitable and knowledgeable and just cool people in general. We saw the monasteries and Delphi plus a ton of hidden gems. It was the absolute highlight of our trip. I cannot recommend them enough! ❤️

Magical Meteora Monasteries

Amazing trip! Our host Sophia and driver Fanis were punctual and took incredible care of us. We had a comfortable drive to Meteora, with interesting stops along the way. The monasteries in Meteora are something you will never forget. Our guide Harry was incredibly knowledgeable. The hotel was lovely. Highly recommend this trip! Note, ours did not include Delphi.

Great Tour!

We had a great tour with Panos. The drive was great and we were comfortable . Our kids are 11,9 and 6 and they enjoyed the whole trip as well. Panos was very easy to communicate with and took very good care of us and we were able to get some great photos too. All the stops along the way were awesome for food and sightseeing . Panos also pointed out many other places and provided us with interesting information along the way. It was great planning this outing with Terry and we highly recommend them for tours.

Meteora is a MUST

An amazing place. The pillars at Meteora are unbelievable unless you see them with your own eyes. Truly magical, and you can understand why this is a UNESCO world heritage site. Our tour did not include Delphi, but a sunset tour in Meteora, two monasteries, the cave dwellings, and Theopetra cave. Also saw some stone arch bridges, a waterfall, and Thermopylae museum on the way up! Don’t let anyone tell you that the winter is a bad time to visit! Although some of the restaurants and accommodations were closed, it was the perfect time to visit if you don’t like crowds. We were often times alone or one of only a handful of people. Our guide, Yannis, was amazing and took great care of us! Would highly recommend this tour!!

Prepare to be awed.

This is a great tour! Our driver Finn and translator Sophia were polite, professional, always on time, kind and fun to be with. We had a private guide in Delphi and Meteora and both were excellent. It was easy to communicate any questions before our tour via email. The sites are beautiful. You will never forget it!

The BEST visit to Meteora

We did this tour with CATTaxi (without the Delphi portion) to Meteora and it was simply AMAZiNG! Our driver, Terry, was super personable and very well educated and knowledgeable on his Country. We learned so much. He was also very patient and kind - helping us with requests like finding a store to sell hearing aid batteries before we left town. :). Meteora was spectacular and he arranged an amazing local guide, Nancy, to take us to the monasteries. He took us sightseeing from peak to peak at sunset and we experienced the most stunning sunset. I could go on and on… but if you want professional, knowledgeable, trustworthy…. Use CATTaxi!

Phenomenal Experience!

Absolutely Amazing tour - my family wished it was three days lol. Terry took us to so many hidden gems and allowed us to see stuff on OUR schedule instead of rushing us to fit some predetermined schedule. We saw so many historical places that we would have never even known about had we tried to drive up on our own. Not to mention all the fantastic food recommendations! Can’t wait to book my next tour with Cattaxi!

Perfect service!

We used Terry's Cattaxi for a family tour and for all our other taxi needs. I can't say enough how wonderful his services are and how helpful he was in making suggestions of places to go that we hadn't thought of. Thanks to Terry and his excellent, professional, responsible drivers, our trip was perfect because we had no worries about traveling arrangements on the main land. Amazing service and tour

Nikos was our driver for this tour and Poseidon temple. He was a excellent driver and very knowledgeable about the areas we saw and everything along the way. The van was spacious for the 5 of us, and alway punctual for the pickups. He made sure our trip was perfect. Cattaxi selected the very best hotels, restaurants and tour guides at Delphi and Meteora. Very special private tour of Meteora!

Amazing experience with CATTaxi!

This tour to Delphi and Meteora was the highlight of our vacation. Our driver, Terry did an amazing job of explaining the different things we were seeing and customizing it to what we liked. He was able to show us things that you wouldn't normally get on a bigger tour. Everything ran smoothly and on time. It was worth the splurge for the private tour. By the way, Meteora was absolutely breathtaking. I definitely recommend treating yourself with this private tour and ask for Terry!

Wonderful Tour + Group

WOW! what a wonderful experience. Terry is the best. He truly made our 2 week Greece trip one to remember, and we were only with him for 2 days! My husband and I started our 2 week honeymoon in Athens and the second day we left with Terry for Meteora. Terry is a wonderful guide and such a kind person. I frequently get car sick and believe I had food poison from breakfast the morning he got us. He was so wonderful about the whole thing and still was able to get my husband to see the sites in Delphi while I slept in the van. The next day he gave us all the insider tips to make Meteora a wonderful experience. We 10/10 recommend this tour group! Truly made out whole trip and can not say anything then how much we loved this experience.. food poison and all!

An absolute must for anyone traveling to Greece

Terry’s tour was easily the highlight of our Greek vacation. He took us from Athens to Meteora on an overnight trip. Terry was incredibly accommodating from the beginning of our trip, asking about our specific interests to make sure we saw as much of what we wanted as possible along the four hour journey from Athens to Meteora. He made gentle and welcome suggestions, but was always aware of what we wanted to do and how we wanted to do it. Terry’s knowledge and openness colored every part of our tour, starting in Athens where he took us to a few hidden gems, continuing along the Greek highways (where he was able to share his deep knowledge of the country’s history), and on to Meteora where he brought us to amazing vistas and more breathtaking spots than one could imagine. Over the course of two very full days, Terry was consistently kind, funny, and always ready with water (something we desperately needed as the Greek heat in June is no joke and my wife was five months pregnant). His care for us throughout the trip and his overflowing knowledge enhanced an already amazing experience—it’s impossible for us to imagine having done this trip without him. My wife and I can’t recommend Terry and CATTaxi strongly enough!

Amazing time

Terry was our guide and I can't say enough nice things about him or his company. 5 stars is not enough. He is the main reason we had the best time on our trip. The van was clean and always available. Terry knows all the hidden spots on the tour, away from the beaten path. All his suggestion worked out amazingly. When we go back to Greece, he and his company will be our guide again, 100 %. Terry our driver was excellent. We did 2 day Meteora. It was so worth it. Our tour guide was great and very knowledgeable. It made our whole trip.

The trip of a lifetime!

Terry Drakakis was our tour guide and driver for 2 amazing days. He customized an itinerary for us of exactly what we were interested in seeing and doing. He has an incredible depth of knowledge about the history of the areas. He arranged guides for us for at the museum in Delphi and the monasteries in Meteora who were equally as knowledgeable. Terry’s tour was very smart, well thought out, creative, super organized and especially fun! He stopped at points of interest along the route for photos. The stops (loved the secret bridges!), the restaurants, the alone time were thoughtful and well spaced out, which added to the trip. We cannot express how wonderful the experience was - went far and above our expectations. It was honestly an adventure of a lifetime!And as Donna said - it changed her life forever.

Best tour

Had a 2 week trip to Greece (one week was a cruise). Out of 9 private tours this was by far the best. They company never made you feel rushed, showed you sites where there were no other tour companies. They went far above my expectations. Knew all of the best stops for photos. I saw other tour companies on our stops and they were in and out in record time - like hearding cattle. They are a top notch company who puts their customers desires first
