Wonderful trip to Amritsar!

Wonderful visit to Golden temple, Jallianwala Bagh and Wagha Border ceremony! My tour guide Priya was friendly and took good care of me throughout the day! Gets Holidays was very accommodating to the changes I wanted. Delicious food stops and rich history - recommend it highly! A bit more detail on the history if the sites would have made it an even better trip!

I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The tour guide "Jassi" was exceptional: he truly made this a memorable experience. I had mentioned to Jassi that I enjoyed photography and he truly went out of his way to ensure I had many unique photo opportunities. This tour and Jassi truly exceeded all expections.

Great overall tour

Decided to come visit Amritsar for the day so I went with this tour to see as much as I could in that time. I did have to pay an additional charge to be picked up from the airport instead of a hotel in Amritsar but the driver was right on time and made sure to drop me back off with enough time to catch my flight back. My tour guide for the day was Sandeep (Sunny) and he was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the different parts of Amritsar and able to answer any questions I had. Getting to experience the golden temple and wagah border are two memories I can cherish for a long time now. Would definitely recommend to anyone interested

My Favorite Trip with Family

As a Sikh, it was an amazing experience to visit Harmindar Sahib, Amritsar. Even though it was crowded and we had to wait for around one and a half hours to go in, the line was organized and people were patient. Some families took their little ones and for them, it was not easy, with the heat and the crowd. The Gurudwara and surrounding buildings were beautiful. The sarowar was calm and gave you a feeling of serenity. Definitely would like to go visit again some day.

Excellent places to visit!

Golden Temple gives me a sense of inner peace everytime I visit. And Wagah Border gave me a different kind of excitement. Don't miss sumptuous stuffed kulchas and delicious lassi in Amritsar.

The Golden Temple

This temple was recommended to us whilst we were in Amritsar, the golden temple was a beautiful place alot larger than i thought it would be. It is a must see if your ever in Amritsar.

Breathtaking Experience

Visited it only once but it was life long experience, the retreat ceremony was a breathtaking one. It was the best time I ever had in my whole life.

Tour to Atari Wagha Border is an unforgettable experience, it was nice to see spectacular ceremony and witness to a unique an example where we see how the Border Security Forces of two nations perform the ceremony cordial and friendly atmosphere.

Had a brilliant day thanks to our guide Mr. Sultan and our driver Mr. K - a very very enjoyable day , filled with knowledge and anecdotes , and feeling very safe in their company and knowledge - they navigated traffic and the visits extremely well. Great services

I have to say good things about the services. My cousin got asthma attack after the border ceremony. Priya (the guide) and Sukhdev (the driver) helped us find a doctor urgently and got my cousin into ICU very shortly for oxygen and inhalers. It was so helpful during such emergency situations. The golden temples are beautiful a d the border ceremony is interesting. Both as expected

Beautiful and Eye Opening

Anil Sharma was my guide and he was super friendly, courteous and knowledgeable! The Golden Temple was a beautiful and spiritual experience and getting to visit the kitchens there and meet some of the volunteers and workers was a truly unexpected treat. Due to my flight schedule we were unable to do the border ceremony and instead visited other Hindu temples, had chai at a traditional tea shop and stopped by a local village. It was very authentic and I couldn’t recommend Anil enough!

Wagah Border

If you are going to Amritsar (Golden Temple) then Wagah Border is a must. It starts by 4.30pm and goes on till 5.30-6.00 max. There are songs and dances on both sides and looks like a carnival. There are Jawans who motivate us to shout 'Vande Mataram". The feeling is so patriotic and the love for the Country is so in the air. Also the Jawans marching with high leg kick is so energetic to watch.

Incredible India

The Golden Temple was superb and the patriotic feeling emoted at Wagah Border has to be experienced to know that India is truly incredible!

They arrived at my hotel on time and nothing was too much trouble.<br/> The visit to the Golden Temple, and the Wagah Border Ceremony were great Anil helped me to get an excellent view of the extraordinary border ceremony as the Indian Border Security force men and women and the Pakistani Rangers face each other down across the gates with fast marches, high kicks and aggressive gestures, while a cheer leader rouses the huge crowd into an excited, patriotic fervour.<br/> One of the most memorable days I've ever had - not to be missed.</p>

<p>The best part of the tour is Chander the guide he is a living walking encyclopaedia . It’s overpriced for the sites it offers . Dont opt if you don’t have VIP pass for the Attari Wagah ceremony . Lunch could be arranged in a better restaurant since it gives bad impression .</p>

<p>Very good day. Indurdeep was a very friendly guy and easy to talk to. Golden Temple was incredible, pity we couldn't see the kitchens because of construction work. Indurdeep managed to get us on the transport from the entrance down to the seating area at the border which was a great boon in the heat. You have to walk back but it was much cooler by then. It was a fun experience to see and hear all the crowd there.</p>
