Half Day Tour to Jerash from Amman

Beautiful trip to Jerash and Ajloun Castle

I did a solo half day tour to Jerash and Ajloun from Amman. My driver was Anas, who was prompt in picking me up from my hotel. He was a great conversationalist and made the trip to Jerash go by very smoothly. While Anas is not a personal guide of the locations I visited and the cost of entry is was not included in the cost of booking (I had the Jordan pass so both Jerash Archaelogical Site and Ajloun Castle were free), he did add a couple extra spots on the tour to show me that he thought I might be interested in. Jordanian hospitality is second to none and he even had me sample some local fruit on the way back to Amman. He is able to communicate fluently in English and Arabic and has very good spoken French as well. All in all, I had a very good experience with Anas and I would use his services again in the future.

Our driver, Mohammad has been very helpful and trusty. He helped us a great deal in finding a new flight since our had been canceled due to Iran missiles strike on Israel the night before (April 13th) and alla call center that day were in tilt. The guide in Jerash was great too.

Great experience

Amazing half day trip to Jerash with our friendly guide and driver Mr Mohammad Bardaghawi. He was right on time in the morning, very communicative, great English and very well organized. We realized that there is no way we would have been able to get so much from a half day on our own. The ratio value/price is simply great and we would book again a tour in Jordan with Mr. Bardaghawi.

Amazing visit

We had a great time ! Mohammad B. was punctual and drove us to Jerash. He gave us great insights on the city and even introduced us to some local foods. The drive was smooth and comfortable. Jerash was beautiful and very impressive to discover.

We booked the half Day tour to Jerash. Mo picked us up on time and is a safe driver. His English is fluent as he has lived in the states. He can tell lots of interesting things about the past and the present of Jordan. Overal a very friendly guy.

Very Satisfied customer

When we travel, we tend to choose not to have a tour guide because we enjoy touring on our terms and at our own pace. However, upon hearing about the challenging driving conditions and the lack of a public transportation system in Amman, we decided to hire a private transportation service. This decision turned out to be a game-changer. Our driver,Ali, was not only incredibly informative and knowledgeable, but he also ensured our safety and expedited our journeys from point A to B. He dropped off at the site and waited for us outside so we could enjoy our time on our terms. One memorable moment stands out : I asked about the local delicacy Kunafa, not only did he explain its significance, but he also took us to a renowned local spot where we savored the best Kunafa and sugar cane juice in town. It was an incredibly thoughtful gesture that left a lasting impression on us. I can’t recommend our tour guide highly enough. Amid the chaos of the city’s traffic and the often-unpredictable driving habits, his services proved invaluable. If given the chance, I would not hesitate to hire him again. Thanks to his dedication and expertise and make the most of our travel experience.

Great tour and wonderful guide!!

Mohammad Bardaghawi was a wonderful guide for us on our first day in Amman. Mohammad was prompt with our hotel pickup in the morning and made our time with him relaxed and enjoyable. We were able to learn about Amman and Jordan from him and found him to be full of information as he answered all our questions. We found the sites to be very interesting to explore and having Mohammad as our guide made the entire day easier.

Amman & Jerash, same day tour

Mohammad Bardaghawi was an exceptional driver. Highly knowledgeable in Amman and Jerash. He knows many locals and have great recommendations from sweets to snacks to food. Ride to Jerash was pleasant. He made accommodations to stop by the Blue Mosque. This wasn’t guided tour, just the riding portion. There were PLENTY of time at each site on my own for SOLO tour with the liberty of comfortable ride in between the sites & the cities. When I return back to Jordan, I will definitely reach out to Mohammad Bardaghawi and his company for future tour arrangements!

Friendly driver, easy trip

We had a great experience with our driver Mohammad Bardaghawi. He was friendly, communicative (on WhatsApp) and punctual. After he picked us up in his air conditioner, late model car, he made a pit stop to show us olive and fig trees, and to get us some Turkish coffee. He answered all our questions on the way to Jerash and waited for us there. After we finished, he took us (at our request) to a small local store to purchase fresh dairy products. The price for the ride was quite reasonable given the cost for a taxi for the same trip. Overall, highly recommended.

Knowledgeable, friendly English-speaking driver

We took a half day trip to Jerash from Amman. Driver was super friendly, on time, communicative and flexible. He made several stops for us, including at a roadside olive grove and local food shops and had excellent communication on Whatsapp with us throughout our visit to Jerash. His English was perfect and had great info on the area. He also had good wifi in the car. Would highly recommend!

Mohammad Bardaghawi is an excellent driver.

Mohammad Bardaghawi turned up at our hotel ten minutes early and was polite and very cheerful throughout the trip. He was informative about Jordan and was happy to answer questions about local culture. Very relaxed, he drove extremely well and very generously stopped to buy us all a coffee. He waited patiently while we walked around Jerash and then ensured we were at the airport with two hours to spare before our flight. He was a perfect gentleman and a credit to Jordan.

Perfect last day at Jerash

We had a wonderful time on our last day in Amman. Our tour group had left and we decided to stay another day and go on a private tour to Jerash. Mahmmud was our driver and he was very nice, a great driver and very professional. He even stopped on the way to get us Turkish coffee which we appreciated very much. He gave us advice on what food we should try in Jordan. He texted us the day before he picked us up so we have his contact and communicated with us the day of the tour and made sure we knew where he was so we wont be worried. Jerash - Half day

Booked a morning tour to Jerash, the ancient Roman city of 1000 columns. Mahmoud, our driver was good. He called a day before and confirmed. He was waiting for us before time and drove us to Jerash. He played a small video in the car so that we didn't need a guide inside. One of the best preserved Roman Ruins. Recommended.

Great day in Jordan

We had a fantastic day. The tour was excellent. Abu Anas is very friendly and sociable. I learned a lot from Abu Anas. He waited for us to take pictures, to shoot videos. He recommended us beautiful places in Jordan and I am very glad that we met. I recommend 100%

A golden driver
