From Amman: one day tour to Petra

Amazing experience

I did a full 10 days itinerary from Amman to Aqaba. We were a party of 3 people. We had a driver with a private very comfortable and spacious sedan car. He was very attentive and fullfilled our needs at all time. He treated us in a professional though friendly way with a special personal touch beyond any expectation. Regarding the general organisation everything worked perfectly: from meet and assist at the airport with the visa and immigration procedure until the drop off at the airport for departure. I really recommend this agency and if I would came back to Jordan I would defenetly contact them again.

What a Great Day!

What a great day! We were picked up at 0800, and the drive took about 3 hours, including stopping briefly at several sights along the way. Our driver, Ameen was very good. He wanted to show us as much as possible. We even stopped for a short break for something to eat. Petra, as you can imagine, was spectacular. Ameen told us to take as long as we wanted, and to call him when we were getting back to the exit of the site. We spent around 4 hours at Petra. Enough time to see most of the sights, and then a quick browse around the stalls at the end. All in all, a great day. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Gladly again!

Any time again. We had an incredible time in Jordan although unfortunately much too short. We booked a 3 day tour. The communication with Issa in advance worked great. We were picked up as agreed at night from the airport. With the visa everything worked great. Our driver Ameen was the best. His car was very new and comfortable. The ride with him was very pleasant and he was very attentive to us during the ride. We felt very safe and in good hands with him. When we come back to Jordan we would book a trip with Atlas Tours again. Great value for money. The Holtes that Atlas booked for us were all very clean and comfortable. In Petra the hotel was only 200m from the entrance. What was absolutely ingenious. Gladly again!

The best part of our trip through scenic and historical Jordan was our driver/guide Ziad

We spent 3 days and 4 nights in Amman and visited Petra, Jerash and the dead sea from there as well as the Amman citadel. All day trips. Jordan is a very scenic country with mountains, valleys and the dessert. There are lots of historical sites to visit and the UNESCO heritage site of Petra is a must see. It can get very cold in winter though and rainy so keep a waterproof jacket or umbrella with you. The best part of our trip was our driver Ziad. He was with us from start to finish that is from the time we landed at the airport in Amman to the time he dropped us back there. He was extremely polite, respectful helpful and caring since we were two ladies traveling on our own. His car was new and spick and span. He had mineral water bottles ready for us each day and stopped at good restrooms when we needed them. He was knowledgeable and gave us lots of information about the places we were at or passing through. His English was very good. He arranged for English speaking guides for us at each spot we visited. He himself was like a guide and friend to us. He even took us to a magnetic hill on the way to Mt. Nebo, where the car rolled back uphill in neutral which was quite fascinating. I give Ziad and Atlas tours a glowing recommendation. Thanks to them we returned with happy memories of Jordan and a good impression of the country and its people.

site nice, service not, but have nothing else or good to say however place fabulous and wonderful , however I would go one more time with different travel agent hopefully for better experience.

Was Okay

Petra by itself was fantastic. These private tour is not really a tour. It is essentially a taxi service, hauling them to the site. Then you are on your own. Yusuf was a nice driver, was helpful. But had to ask for everything.Essentially a good car will haul you from the hotel to Petra and then on your own.

Customer Service Made All The Difference

I have mixed feelings about Atlas Tours. The description of our tour to Petra was misleading. Excursion advertisement painted the anticipation of purchasing a lavish long day, indepth tour to Petra when in-fact the hefty price primarily covers a car ride to Petra front vistor entrance. What made all the difference on our day trip is the brilliant customer service of driver Ibrahim. He was very kind, down-to-earth, respectful and proven knowledgeable about Jordan when answering our many questions. If you elect to travel with Atlas Tours request driver Ibrahim. Jordan is a safe country filled with unique treasures of Islamic and world history. The people are very kind and respectful.

Beautiful, does not include admission

The experience is shocking, beautiful, if you want to walk a lot, see the monastery, it is worth it, what the excursion is is just the transfer. IT DOES NOT INCLUDE ENTRANCE, it is just the transfer, our driver Obada was very kind and friendly, in that sense it was excellent but we thought it included the entrance (it costs about 70 euros per person)

Pünktlich und freundlich

Ghassan war ein sehr pünktlicher und freundlicher Fahrer der viel zu Jordanien berichtet hat. Gutes sauberes modernes Auto. Alles lief sehr gut und effizient. Atlas Travel kann ich empfehlen.

Ineficiencia de empresa.

La peor experiencia de mi vida. 1- No había una sola botella de agua. 2-- el chofer de ida nos dejó en Petra, porque tuvo una emergencia. 3-- Un segundo chofer nos recogió en Petra para regresar a Amman y nos hizo caminar una cuadra a un restaurante que nos indicó (con un sol enorme) por WhatsApp, tampoco tenía agua. 4-- El primer chofer se llevó mis bolsas de compras (02) y "dice" murió su hermano. Lo siento, pero así fue . Pérdida total, "si es cierto está emergencia". POR CONSIGUIENTE: No les debería otorgar ni una estrella, pero su app no me deja seguir si no marco "algo". Sorry. 5-- Este caso es "PRUEBA PREVIA", como decimos en Perú de: "Obligación del hecho de un TERCERO" como empresa, uds AVIATOR, "deben" tener un respaldo y no perjudicar a los clientes, somos tres y mi madre tiene 83 años, no DEBEN hacer esos cambios. Mi viaje fue familia, persona yor (83 años) y su app no tiene esa opción 🤷
