Wonderful Ride!

Wonderful ride from the Airport to Jaco Beach. Driver was just great! Definitely better than a taxi or bus ride would have been!

Best transport from/to SJO and hotel/condo

Both of the drivers, Cosme and Roberto, were fantastic! They allowed us to stop at restaurant, supermarket, restrooms, souvenir shops, and a brief sightseeing at Crocodile Bridge. It was our first time in Costa Rica and they helped make the experience enjoyable from start to finish. Transport from/to SJO to/from hotel/condo.

They did not monitor my flight and adjust pickup. Had to wait almost 2 hours at airport. But when car came it was OK

Responsible, friendly, and flexible service

The GoJacoShuttle staff were extremely helpful and accommodating with my pickup at SJO airport as a solo female traveller. Because of terrible weather in Toronto, my flight was delayed about 7 hours. I didn't have a clear arrival time and at the end, I arrived at 5AM instead of 9:30PM as originally scheduled. While my flight was continuously delayed, I was in contact with GoJacoShuttle and they kindly reassured me there would be someone waiting for me with fast replies and 24/7 service. Once I got in the van upon arrival, the WIFI was a nice touch. I'll be using their service every time I come to the country and am recommending them to my friends and family!

This is NOT a private transfer

Don't let the misleading description trick you. This was NOT a private transfer when I signed up for it. I booked this since the experience is described as a private transfer, but it's shared shuttle that will leave without you if not there at the exact time, rather than waiting with a sign with your name like the other private transfer companies. Long story short is that I eventually ended up where I needed to go for some extra fees, and my driver was good. However, it was not as this experience describes. The operator is saying it's a mistake by Viator and that Viator signed me up for a shared shuttle when I booked this private experience.

Wonderful and Friendly Driver

We enjoyed our ride to Jaco Beach. Our driver was friendly and very accommodating. He stopped at a local fruit stand along the way and introduced us to fruits we had never tried before. I would definitely use this service again.

Great and Easy Experience

Finding the driver at the airport was a smooth and simple process! The vehicle was nice and air conditioned, and the driver was very accommodating (he even took us to a grocery store on our way to the Airbnb to pick up some essentials). Would recommend!

Terrible - no show

Contacted company to advised we arrived and we were told the departure time was actually at 8 pm. 3 hours after the original booking. They promised to pick us up by 525 - no one showed up. I was also asked to fill in a customer service survey to be able to get my refund!?!?? Communication was good but experience was bad. Apparently this was viator s wrong doing because of time zone miscommunication?

Manuel picked us up from San Jose and stopped along the way to show us the crocs! He was knowledgeable about Costa Rica, things to do, and got us there safely!

The shuttle bus is only 1...

The shuttle bus is only 1 way even though the description includes a departure. You basically get dropped off and do your own thing. The place is beautiful and our driver was great, however charged us additional cost for everything else.

Late and lost

Second time the Viator transportation was both late and lost. The drivers were patient and kind as well as good, safe drivers.

Sjo to Jaco

Arrived on time. Car had air conditioning and the driver was safe. Would like to have a slightly larger car but the car was completely fine. The driver knew the area and spoke English well.

My go to shuttle service

I live in Jaco and use the Go Jaco Shuttle every time I go to and from SJO airport. They are always on time, they can pick you up at any time (last time I was picked up at 3:30am to make my flight at 7:00am) and they always offer to make a stop if needed. I refer this company to all of my friends and family visiting Costa Rica. Thanks for the great service over the years - Pura Vida

Excellent shuttle to/from SJO

Two years ago, my husband and I rented a vacation home in Jaco. Our rental agent recommended this shuttle service and we are glad she did. We have used them exclusively for the last two years. They are reliable, friendly, affordable and easy to communicate with through WhatsApp. We were stuck in customs for nearly 2 hours on this last trip and thankfully our driver was still there waiting for us when we finally got out. We have used them at least 10 times (maybe more) and have never had any problems. This is an excellent service and you should not be hesitant to use them.

Shuttle Service from/to Airport

I would give 0 stars if that was an option. I reserved transportation from SJO to our hotel in Jaco Beach. The ride from the airport to the hotel was not bad. The issues came from transportation to San Jose from Jaco Beach. The reservation was for 12:00pm on 05/29/21. I'm not sure what happen or why the driver thought we changed our reservation day, but he did not show up at 12:00pm. I contacted ShuttleJaco via WhatsApp and they confirmed the error was their fault. They sent someone out an hour later to take us to our hotel in San Jose. ShuttleJaco offered a free ride from our hotel to SJO for their mess up. (See attached). We were ready for pick up at 3:25am from our hotel per the conversation via WhatsApp. No one showed to take us to SJO. I wrote a message asking what time would the driver be at the hotel, after no response I asked the hotel to call us a cab to make sure we were at SJO in time to check in and not miss our flight. No one from ShuttleJaco showed or responded to the no show. This is completely unacceptable. I've attached the screenshot showing the conversation and that the messages were read that morning. We are bringing a big group back to Costa Rica and were considering using them as transportation for that trip. We will not be using ShuttleJaco and I would recommend you do not use them either.

Amazing tour guide and ride to Jaco Beach

Hayek was an amazing driver/tour guide. He allowed us to make a few stops and sightsee. He was funny and very nice. Our reservation was for 3pm pickup and he was there early. We didn’t have to wait at all! Exceptional customer service and definitely would recommend!

Best shuttle service experience!

Five stars! They were quick to respond, flexible, and professional. My sister and I did a shared private shuttle from the airport to two different locations, and this service made it very easy! Our driver even stopped at the grocery store so we could grab some things before arriving to the air bnb!

Alajuela to Heredia to Jaco to Esterillos Oueste

I would give this 5 stars except I felt like the communication between Viator and Jaco Shuttle was confusing. Minutes after I made the reservation, I recieved what I thought was a confirmation of the reservaton by Jaco Shuttle on WhatsApp. But no, that was not exactly correct. It was a separate offer. After several phone calls on my part while in San Jose, Jose and I finally communicated and straightened everything out. The service was excellent and my driver Hayro ( the most patient and courteous of people) drove me to my destination. It was expensive, but not overly so and after a day of surgery, I was ready to pay almost anything to get to the beach. If they will have me, I will happiy use them again.

Excellent Service

Excellent service and trustworthy. I lost my air pod pros during my trip and not only did they find them, the returned them pronto. I highly recommend their services!

Affordable Transport From San Jose to Jaco Beach

This service was really great as the people were on point with their communication through WhatsApp. Pablo, the driver, was on time and very helpful with the complete process. Also, the prices are really great and you have multiple options to choose from. Highly recommended!

Mejor imposible

Excelente servicio, llegamos un poco mas tarde de lo pautado y nos esperaron sin ningún problema, había un cartel con nuestro nombre donde nos esperaban en el aeropuerto. El conductor muy amable y atento, nos hicieron sentir muy cómodos desde el minuto uno, estamos muy agradecidos y lo recomendamos siempre.
