Great experience. They drove my my family and I from the Holiday Inn Express by the SJO airport to Dominical. They were professional and reliable. The van was comfortable and had a great AC that kept us at a perfect temperature. I would definitely use them again!

Excellent ride from San José to La Fortuna.

Awesome experience. They were on time and waiting for us. Very knowledgeable driver and entertaining. He showed us a sloth with a baby in the trees on the way to la fortuna. Excellent ride and gonna use again. 5 stars very pleased.

FANTASTIC! We had a group of 32 people and spent 3-4 days with Ariel & Charles and had an absolute blast. They were patient and kind. They were knowledgable and spontaneous. They were perfect! Great service, comfortable ride

The ride was clean and comfortable and Ronny our driver was fantastic. Customer service was the best. I will definitely tour with Ariel and his team again. We had a ton of luggage, but Ronny fit everything in perfectly, leaving loads of room for us.

Terrific transfer from San Jose to Tamarindo!!

I loved how punctual our drivers were and how considerate they were during our entire trip. They handled our bags with care, offered us places to stop to get food and take washroom breaks. It was super spacious - the 4.5 hours flew by! Highly recommend their service :)

You’ve found your San José Airport Shuttle

On-Time. Friendly. Modern van. Strong A/C. So after a brutal 20-hour trip from overseas, where I arrived 2-hours later than planned, I was definitely worried the shuttle wasn’t even going to be there. But when I finally got out of baggage claim to meet Fernando, the driver, I was greeted with a small (sign) with my name on it and a big smile. I was relieved I wasn’t stranded in San José and grateful for Fernando’s kindness and patience. The van is super modern, comfortable seats, strong A/C and comes with bottled water. The drive only took 4 hours (San Jose to Playa Grande) and probably could have been quicker but I had asked to stop a couple times to use the facilities. The driver is a born and raised Tico (who speaks perfect English) filled with a ton of local knowledge. He was fun to chat with and I’m not normally the chatty type. Def recommend!

Costa Rica fun

Our holiday to Costa Rica was amazing. We booked private transfers with Playa grande Shuttle services. Our driver Charles picked us up promptly and his car was spacious. He gave us lots of info about CR . Our driver for our journey home was Ariel. He gave us a lovely sightseeing tour back to the airport. Once again his car was spacious with wifi so I could check what was happening with our flights. We would definitely use plays grande shuttles again.

Worked with them to do a transfer from hotel near San Jose to Tamarindo hotel for a group, did an ATV/snorkel tour and then transfer back to SJO - everything was amazing! Great energy, great recommendations and super flexible. Helped several members of our group with other transfers and car rentals. Definitely looking forward to working with them again!

Ariel and his staff at Playa Grande Shuttle & Tours were top quality on all levels. We requested a round trip shuttle from San Jose Airport to Tamarindo (8 hours round trip) and it was punctual, relaxing and the best experience of Costa Rican scenery you’ll get. Desde que llegamos nos recibió juan Carlos con toda su amabilidad, un guía increíble que no solo nos explicó los lugares por donde circulabamos sino sobre la cultura tica (costarricense). Gracias Ariel por coordinar todos nuestros traslados a la perfección. Excelente el servicio!!!

Excelente servicio!

Nos buscaron desde el aeropuerto de San José para llevarnos a playa grande, súper puntuales, nos esperaron con refresco y el chofer nos brindó información y recomendación sobre los lugares. Al finalizar la estadía nos buscaron desde tamarindo para ir al aeropuerto nuevamente. Todo espectacular, muy serviciales y los vehículos 10 puntos!!

Bester Transfer

am Flughafen wartete Ariel auf mich mit einem Schild mit meinem Namen, wurde herzlich empfangen, sofort nahm er mir die Koffer er war sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Die fahrt nach tamarindo war lang , aber war sehr angenehm. Super Transfer , würde wieder Ariel buchen für den Transfer :)
