Interesting to learn and appreciate the work of a cup of coffee. The view from the cafe is worth the trip. The tour was a good bonus.

So much to learn!

We took the 90 minute tour and loved every minute of it. Our tour guide Carlos, was passionate, knew his stuff and kept us engaged the entire time. Learning more about the industry was enlightening. And even though we drink a lot of coffee in our household - we still learned a few new things to take back home with us so we will enjoy our coffee even more.

Coffee visit

The guide was fantastic he had a wide knowledge of the coffee Industry not just the Starbucks farm. It was very interesting to see how coffee berry is farmed then transformed into coffee

Interesting to learn all about the process from bean to cup. The whiskey cloud drink at the bar was very good.

A must stop!

We went twice in our 1 week trip! First just to have breakfast - delicious food and drinks! And then we came back another day for the tour and totally worth it! So informative about not just how to grow and make coffee, but around the whole operation at the farm! It's beautiful visitor center and cafe, definitely a must stop, even if just for a cup of coffee!

Amazing experience for coffee lovers

My family and I had a wonderful time here. Freddy, Karol and Victor were so knowledgeable and hospitable in sharing the coffee process with us. I have such an appreciation for every cup of coffee now knowing how it’s made! Highly recommend for coffee lovers visiting Costa Rica.

What a beautiful place! Great for photos and the tour was super informative. We had great tour guides who answered all of our questions. For folks whoa have been disappointed in the tour, ask questions! So incredible to see the people overs from the seeds to being able to consume the coffee that you can only find here. Recommend! In fact during our week in Costa Rica we visited twice! And would visit again

See the art too!

I had such a great experience here! I was able to understand the coffee growing process. Here's something for the artists out there: there are many hand painted paintings and murals and etc. that are fantastic. Enjoyed the tour!

Our tour guide Dalia did an amazing job & is SUPER knowledgeable about coffee! Highly recommend anyone to do this at least once in your life!

A wonderful experience for groups.

This was a great tour around a miniature coffee plantation. Our tour guide was very informative and we learnt a lot about how coffee is made.

Coffee tour

Nice afternoon with friends. Got there early to see pretty view. The tour was interesting and they provided umbrellas. Coffee was tasty and the food in the cafe was better than at home.

I love it 🥰 very good and educational, nice place to visit. My favorite part was seeing how the fruits grow from the plants and are picked by certain colors. Amazing description of the logo as well with deeper meaning.

The view was the most spectacular part of my trip. Our tour guide did an excellent job of describing not only the process of how the coffee is made but also how difficult the workers have it. Amazing all the way through!

Low commitment quick tour

We went as a group and there are Lots of activities (such as coffee picking) and learning! I enjoyed the tour. Nice view too

Very informative tour with great tasting at the end. It was raining when we went, but they provide umbrellas and the majority of the tour is under cover. Would definitely do again.

This was an excellent tour by Carlos. Our 9-year son loved it and we learned everything from beans to coffee production. Got all my questions answered, which was awesome!

Thorough and friendly explanation around the coffee farm and delicious coffee at the end ! The views from the farm are also beautiful!

Not worth it if you know anything at all about coffee

The script is a 10minute YouTube video drawn out. We finished 20mims early it was so light on content. We fact checked a few things said after, they were wrong. Won’t not recommend at all and if you “have to go” get a coffee and sit there.

Good Tour to Learn

Good tour to learn, but it's just an explanation about the coffee process. At the end, they just give you 1/8 of coffee cup, something disappointed.

Starbucks On Cutting Edge of Coffee Farming

Beautiful working farm and great insight to the complexity of coffee production. Mario our tour guide was very informative. Tour was only 1 hour due to small group of 7. Nice views at high elevations. Small walk uphill to look at bean plants. Cafe offered food. Our coffee tasting consisted of hot and cold brew, 1 cup each. Very nice clean facility.

Karol was an amazing tour guide. Really nice facility and really informative. If you enjoy Starbucks it’s a must see and do when in Costa Rica.

Coffee Bean to Cup

This was an excellent tour. Gives you the appreciation of every sip you take of coffee. Karol was very informative and did an amazing job explaining the process of how coffee grows from a seed to a cup. The atmosphere is wonderful.

Amazing coffe farm

An incredible place for a day trip with kids, you can buy the tickets on the place just be aware that they have one tour per hour with guide. Just check on the itinerary the tour hours on english. We hire a private tour poas volcano+ the waterfall gardem and alsacia.
