Highly recommend Zac and this tour. Very informative and so much fun on our Segways. We stopped off to have a break and a bite to eat, the snacks were included in the tour. Lots of butterflies and lizards to be seen. We also saw a red belly snake. Great time to be had. One of the best Segway tour I've done. Thank you

Segway fun in the rainforest

We had a great day with Zak and the Segways. So much fun & great commentary along the way too. Morning Tea was yummy & a great spot by Impulse Creek. Highly recommended. Very well organized & plenty of time in the car park for practicing. So easy to use & heaps of fun. Thanks Zak!

Highly recommend

This was a great tour and a great option for something different besides enjoying the water and the beach. We booked off a cruise ship and we had time to tender in and Zak picked us up right on time and we drove to the rainforest for a wonderful guided tour. We were oriented to the segways and given a safety briefing and then off into the forest we went. Zak explained the flora and fauna and we had a few stops along the way. We loved the rainforest and we also saw large lizards called Gonnas that were sunbathing on the trail. We had a lovely little picnic at a river and we loved the homemade snacks and the hot tea. The trail is very wide and we never saw anyone else on it. We highly recommend this tour and thought Zak did a great job and loved the rainforest.

Zak is very friendly and enthusiastic. The training before starting was very good. Walking through the jungle in the morning made us feel very free. I will definitely recommend it to my friends!

Exceeded my expectations, the Rain Forrest Segway Tour! Zak was great, knowledgable and professional. Was picked up and dropped off at my accommodation. The tour itself was very enjoyable and a great way to experience the natural rain forrest! I was really impressed with the Segways and what they can do. A must do in Airlie Beach.

Fabulous fun

We were picked up by Zac who was professional and on time. The weather wasn't on our side with rain which got heavier during our segway adventure...we all had a fabulous time with lots of laughs. Morning tea was home-made and a great bonus. Make sure you book..you won't be disappointed

Great time

Zak was the most professional and also personable guide. Was very patient with a 67 year old first timer. He made it comfortable with also the knowledge of the forest. Made for all ages and a beautiful experience.

I really loved this tour through the rainforest. Zak was informative and friendly and looked after us while learning to Segway. 100% would do this again. Trip highlight for a fun day out..

Loved this tour - was such fun on the Segways - The guide was informative and fun - lovely small group - the morning tea was delicious - cant fault it! I would highly recommend. Also the right length of time. We covered approx 10km of rainforest track so good value.

Fun and adventure through a beautiful rainforest with a friendly, patient and kind tour guide! Loved the packed morning tea, soft mat to sit on at the creek and the local Knowledge that our guide shared. We highly recommend this Segway tour

Segway tour in the rainforest

This tour was fantastic. Zak picked us up from our hotel at the exact time that was advised. He was very patient as i was very nervous and he trained us all individually before we set off. Morning tea was spent by a creek which was very peaceful. Would definitely recommend this tour! Great job Zak

What a fantastic thing to do! Had a great time riding through the rainforest with Zak. Genuinely nice guy, great tour guide. Afternoon tea was yummy. Weather was perfect, and the rainforest was beautiful. Saw plenty of Ulysses butterflies, a couple of goannas and even a beautiful looking snake. Riding the Segways was super easy and what they say is true: If you can stand up, you can ride one. A must do for your time in Airlie Beach!

Highly Recommend the tour was awesome

It was awesome, I was a bit intimidated by the segway, however after the training I was ready to go. We are older and are not up to long walks anymore, so the tour was perfect. It was great gliding along the Great Whitsundays Walk. I did a provide some excitement by hitting a large rock and tumbling off the segway. Our tour guide had explicitly said, don't hit any rocks. He was right, don't hit any rocks. Highly Recommend.

The best tour (and guide) in the Whitsundays

This trip was a 100/10 according to our youngest. The tour was incredible and scenic with lots of stops when needed, a delicious morning tea by the creek and lots of good local knowledge from Zak. The tour was nice and small 6 people in total and Zak was so understanding of the kids being nervous on Segways. We honestly wanted to turn around and do the trip again and will recommend to everyone that comes up to the Whitsundays.

The knowledge of Zac our guide was very informative. The beauty that surrounded us was amazing. Snacks were delicious. Highly recommend doing a segway tour at Airlie Beach.

A great trip for all the family.

Great fun and a beautiful rainforest. We stopped at some interesting spots along the way and stopped for a beautiful morning tea at a freshwater running creek. Here we were given home baked muffins and brownies from our morning tea packs. We had our morning tea while dangling our feet in the creek. Zak was very knowledgeable about the rainforest, and we saw the brightest blue butterflies, among many other things.

Super awesome experience

Awesome experience, and super patient with all of us being first time segway operators. The snacks provided were super nice, really couldn't have asked for any better. Highly, highly recommended

1st time on a Segway and it was fantastic! Highlight of the trip was standing inside a Strangler Fig.

Fantastic Experience in the Whitsundays

Zak runs his business like clockwork. Very professional and informative. Focus is on safety and having fun too. You need to pass the training test before you hit the trails with the group. I was a nervous beginner but his patience and excellent instructions meant I was so confident and hit the trails with no problems. Zak is very knowledgeable of the area after spending 8yrs on the job, we stopped to rest and listen to his talk about the rainforest and its inhabitants. We saw frogs and bush turkeys and remnants of where feral pigs have dug holes. We walked inside a strangler fig tree, and Zak took photos for everyone. You cannot use your mobile phone whilst riding the segway. Both hands are needed for balance and steering. Zak offers to post photos on the Facebook site of his footage for us later. Morning tea stop was great. His partner makes all the food and the bottled water is welcoming. I would highly recommend this activity in the Whitsundays. Zak’s company is the only one running it. Definitely worth the money. We will be back to do it again.

Lack of professionalism

I booked my tour weeks ago and was contacted to change my booking as they had a cruise ship tour that they were taking out on the day I have reserved and paid for. I understand that one person must give way to a tour group, but I found communicating with one the owner unprofessional and abrupt. A message was left on a Sunday requesting that I call back to discuss my booking. I returned the call that afternoon and initially with the male owner. I explained that I was returning the call. The owner stated that his wife dealt with the bookings. He went to his wife and I could hear her arguing in the background and stating that she was not available to take the call. I feel it's rather rude to ask a customer to call back and then loudly state that you are not available to take the call. The gentleman returned and asked could his wife call me back but I said this was not convenient as I did not wish to play telephone tag. I simply asked for a refund of my booking and the gentleman readily agreed. This is not the first time I had difficulty communicating with the company. Before making the booking, I sent a couple of emails which were never answered. To be honest I'm actually relieved that the booking is cancelled, and I will be receiving a refund as I had my doubts about the company's professionalism and hence whether the tour would be a good experience.

Lazy hiking.

Unique way to do a “ hike”. The segways are fun. Nice to get out into the rainforest. Probably a little overpriced ,however if you have never been on a Segway then it’s ok for the first experience.

A fun way to explore nature

We had no experience with segways at all. Zak was awesome at coaching us through it, what a fun way to explore the rainforest - the kids lived it!!

Brilliant morning, lovely place to visit

Zak was great, from teaching everyone how to use the Segways and then providing commentary along the way this experience was fantastic and a must for those who are keen on exploring the rainforest, but without having to hike the 9km return journey.

Brilliant half day adventure. Zack was patient and knowledgeable. We were confident to explore the magnificent tropical rainforest in minutes. Every part of the adventure was perfect!

A great way to see the beautiful Conway National Park. Zak was really great and very informative about the Rainforest. He was very patient and gave us plenty of time to feel comfortable with the segway before we set off. Also a shout out to his wife for the beautiful morning tea and was also very happy to cater for anyone with special dietary requirements. Enjoyed it so much.

Enjoyable Morning

Great way to spend a morning,picked up at our apartment, after a short 15 minute drive we arrived at Conway rainforest carpark for a introduction to the easy to ride segways there were 6 of us plus Zac the tour guide. After a 16 minute practice in the carpark we headed off into the beautifull rainforest stopping every now and again to marvel at the giant 200 year old Strangle Fig trees, beautiful clear running streams and the peaceful magnificent rainforest. A great way to spend a morning..

A unique way to experience the rainforest. We had a blast! Zac was a great host and very patient when training us how to use the Segway so we felt comfortable using it. The morning tea was lovely too. Thank you for a great day!

Fantastic Rainforest Segway Tour

The rainforest segway Tour was extremely fun. It was a rainy day, but the rainforest was at its best and the hot cuppa tea with homemade treats topped it off. The Segways were a lot more exciting to ride than I thought. We live local and can’t wait to go again and take our next visitors. Thanks to Zak our wonderful tour guide.

Oh What a Ride

Terrific day touring the rainforest on our segways with Zac. Very informative, heaps of fun and a great time overall. A must do experience. Don't hesitate to book a tour with Zac, you won't regret it. Scenery is absolutely beautiful and super fun riding the segways.

Zak was friendly, helpful, patient and informative. Despite initial nervousness the segways were very easy to use. Great idea for an attraction, I would absolutely go again & will recommend the tour to everyone.

Brilliant experience

What a great trip, excellenly guided by Zac, the views, the wildlife the guidance and the local knowledge were absolutly brilliant. Highly recommended even if you have never been on a segway before the tuition given before you set off will have you up and going in no time. And of course the blueberry muffin has to get a mention, again excellent.

The Segway buck list tour

Amazing experience with 2 adults, 2 teenage children and Even grandmum! Teenagers learned about the rainforest and absolutely loved the time we spent on the Segway. Definitely a bucket list item. 10/10

Trying a new experience was fun Zak was very nice. The day was a welcome diversification from Reef / Water activities.
