Great day trip

Great day trip to Whitehaven Beach and the view point. Nice lunch provided on the boat and 2 hours free time on the beach which was great. The tour guide/captain Dave was very informative and funny! All the staff were great.

A perfect day in the Whitsundays

This was of the best day experiences we have had! Booking, pickup and departure was seamless. The crew including Dave, Madison, and Macca were excellent! And the information about the region and features added richness to the experience. The activities were well paced. The facilities, refreshments and lunch were impeccable. 5 stars to Sealink and their staff! Highly recommended!

Big Island Guided Day Tour - worthwhile !

We went on Sat 25 May 2024. “Whitsundays Whitehaven Beach Big Island Guided Day Tour”. Pickup was from a location 50m from where we were staying (NRMA Park). Pickup and drop-off were on-time. The bus driver was entertaining and knowledgeable - he went the extra mile! We were on the “Nancy” Cat - their flag-ship. Scenery was fantastic views of the islands, with the captain filling in the history and facts. Two stop points: Hill Inlet Lookout - a walk to the top lookout points; and Whitehaven Beach (either walk the beach, or take the walk to the lookout point). Both really worthwhile!

Beautiful Whitsundays

Was unsure of what company to book to take the tour of Whitsunday Islands but so glad I chose Sealink. Excellent and efficient from start to finish. The inclusion of breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack were well received. The whole tour was excellent. The crew were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The captain's silky smooth voice talked us through the voyage with informative facts and information about the islands. All in all a wonderful experience and I would recommend the Sealink experience.

A new tour, with a better standard than the other tours

We loved this trip. We got to see very interesting places and spend time on Whitehaven Beach. The tour was deliberately under subscribed, this gave us lots of room to wander about on ship, rather than packed in, this was a definite plus. The views were tremendous. It was a relaxed crew and very professional. We all had a great day. A big thank you.

On May 14 2024 we took the Sealink day tour to Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet. It was a great day. Captain Dave and crew Dan, Rajon and Harry were all excellent. They were all friendly approachable and had a great knowledge of the Whitsundays in general and the places we visited especially. Their knowledge of the history, geography and cultural significance of the area was very impressive and made the day very enjoyable. The Nancy Wake was very spacious and comfortable and the catering was first class. All in all a great day which we highly recommend. 5 stars from us. Thanks again guys.

Great day out.

Great day out, weather was the best so far according to the crew. Friendly helpful crew and guide. Our guide Kaydie? (mother duck) was the best. Lots of food for morning and afternoon teas and lunch. Boat nice and clean, plenty of room. Enjoyed the Hill Inlet lookout walk and Whitehaven Beach time. Plenty of time to see everything. Highly recommend this cruise. Captain gave a good commentary.

Great day out

Fabulous day out . Well organised, the crew were all great with great knowledge of the Whitsundays. Lunch , morning and afternoon tea was delicious. The weather wasn’t that good the day we went but the skipper altered the schedule to make the most of the day. I recommend the big day out excursion

FABULOUS.

Fabulous! Such a professional crew. polite and helpful. Plenty of food at the buffet lunch, and wide selection of morning and afternoon tea. The trip was a bit rough in places, but it was well worth the money.

Whitsundays definitely worth a visit.

Great boat , wonderful crew , nice lunch morning tea and afternoon tea , stunning location. I would suggest wearing shoes for water , saves taking shoes on and off .

Great day out with a creat crew. Fantastic way to experience Whitehaven beach and the Whitsunday Islands.

The whole day was fantastic. Picked up from our accommodation in Cannonvale and dropped back at the end of the day. Welcomed aboard and thoroughly looked after by the team. Captain Dave and the crew Rhi, Daniel Harry, Sophie and Rijon. The scenery was spectacular. The food was delicious and abundant. The crew were friendly, funny and helpful. The safety practices were also reassuring. The walk to the Hill Inlet lookouts was quite doable (unfit and 50+) and the crew kept an eye on us to make sure we were ok, the view was well worth the 700m walk. Swimming at Whitehaven beach (in the provided stinger suits) was fun. Lots of wild life around as well. The information about the islands was very interesting. It was a great way to spend our wedding anniversary.

A highlight of our Airlie visit

The whole day was excellent, tour staff were so friendly and helpful. The commentary on the tour was informative and I noticed further explanation was generously provided when people wanted to know more. The sights, the walks, the swim, was all amazing. The food was fresh and plentiful. It's a tour I could happily go on again.

A good experience

A very pricey tour, but a great day. If I had to do it over, I probably would have chosen a tour company that was allowed to moore at Hill Inlet and offered snorkeling (there are rays there!) To be honest, I wasn’t sure what the rush was. Maybe the short period of time on Hill Inlet is to avoid masses of tourists crowding the viewing platforms but this was the most stunning place I‘d ever been to and we only had a very short time to take in the view. We were told there was no time to walk down to the beach and that we‘d go there by boat, but this company isn’t allowed to moore there and we went straight to Whitehaven beach. It’s a nice Long Beach, but you can’t see the sandbanks from there, there is no coral and few fish, so I didn’t bother going snorkeling despite bringing my own equipment. The company offered a guided walk up to another lookout, which was nice. However, we spent a very long time on the beach with very little to do and I wished, we could have had at least one hour more at Hill Inlet instead. Considering it was my only day out in the Whitsundays, I sort of regretted going with this option. That said, the ship was nice, with good AC. The food was great (we got breakfast, lunch and cake at teatime). The crew was friendly - and my god, the captain had the voice of an angel; he could pursue a career voicing documentaries or meditation apps or something. Also, the boat was not as crowded as other boats we saw. We saw a turtle surface in turtle bay. So I did like my day, but I will go with another provider next time, because the Inlet is really the most magical spot in the Whitsundays (and possibly the world).

Excellent day with Sealink!

From start to finish we were extremely happy we choose Sealink to tour the Whitsunday islands. Very pleased to be picked up from our hotel in a nice air conditioned bus. The catamaran was large, stable and spacious. Guests had the opportunity to move throughout the trip between the 3 levels and there were always free seats available. The captain and crew were so nice and friendly. The went above and beyond to make the guests happy and comfortable. The food provided was way more than the lunch we expected. Snacks were provided with both morning and afternoon tea…. We just ate all day !! When visiting the islands staff transported us safely to the beach and were constantly counting guests to make sure everyone was accounted for. Captain Dave provided an informative commentary throughout the trip and we learned a lot ! We had the chance to see other tour boats when at Whitehaven Beach and it was clear we had the nicest boat out there. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend booking with Sealink.

Best tour in the Whitsundays

Absolutely best tour in the Whitsundays. Staff were amazing, plenty of great food and a really big day out with lots to see and do. A must.

Wonderful trip to Whitehaven Beach

My husband and I took the full day tour to Whitehaven - unfortunately the rainy weather didn't cooperate! We still had a great day, boat is really great design, the food was wonderful, stinger suits were real nice, and all the crew were super to deal with! If we are back in Airlie Beach again, we would take this trip again in a heartbeat!! Thank you SeaLink Whitsundays!!

Fantastic day out!

What an amazing day! Very well organised, large comfortable boat and friendly crew. We had a lovely family day out with Sealink Big Island day tour. The food was tasty, drinks always available and the guided walk up to Whitehaven lookouts was great fun. The beach stop was perfect with cold drinks and shade available, stinger suits provided, lots of interesting facts and information over the loud speaker during the cruise itself. We would highly recommend this tour and will rebook when we return to Airie, thank you to all the crew especially Kelsey who our boys loved chatting to!

Absolutely fantastic day. Boat was brilliant and tour guides were so nice. Dan made the day for us, he's ferocious fun and great craic as a tour guide. Food on board was tops and never ran out !! 100% recommend Sealink tours, they're the biz !

A perfect day around the Whitsunday Islands

We had an absolutely perfect day with Captain Dave and all the team around the Whitsunday Islands! The food was amazing and the entire day ran smoothly. Harry was also incredibly informative on the bush walk and made sure everyone was well looked after!

Absolutely perfect from start to finish. All the staff were amazing but particular mention to Captain Dave; his running commentary throughout was superb and really informative. I opted to do the second bush walk and Maddie was, again, outstanding. The food choice was varied and plentiful. I can’t recommend this highly enough.

Excellent day's cruising to Whitehaven Beach

It was a memorable day out cruising round the Whitsundays. The crew were fabulous and looked after everyone extremely well. The quality of the food was well above was I expected - very fresh, well cooked and plentiful. The bush walks were great and we had lots of time on Whitehaven Beach. We were all given a stinger suit and therefore could enjoy being in the sea. Saw lots of wild life - turtles, dolphins and fantastic fish as well as an iguana on the bush walk! We were blessed with excellent weather and it was a great experience.

Best big boat!

I am quite a scared person boats and a daytrip on a wavy ocean is not something that would make me happy. Therefore we picked Sealink. And it was everything and more! 0 seconds of being scared on the boat, the friendliest staff, the best views, amazing food on board, incredible information during the entire trip. Even on whitehaven beach they make sure there is a shaded area, that there is water. Could not recommend more!

Wonderful in Every Way

This was the best tour we’ve done. The boat, crew & food were magnificent. Learnt so much from our skipper & crew about beautiful, stunning Whitehaven & the rest of the Whitsundays. This is a must well worth every penny!!

Fantastic day out!

Fantastic day out. Very professional from start to finish. Welcomed on board with lovely drinks and breakfast. Then really nice boat trip and lunch! Then ashore on Whitehaven beach to the lookout then to the main beach for a couple of hours. Nice afternoon food! Then back. While thing was a great experience! Highly recommended.

This trip was a wonderful experience!

We took the day tour to Whiteheaven Beach with Sealink. It was a wonderful experience and we can only praise the organizer. The day was well organized, the staff was extremely friendly, the food (breakfast, lunch and afternoon food) was exceptionally good. The climb to the viewpoint over Whiteheaven Beach was worth it. When we arrived at the beach we had enough time to enjoy this world-famous beach and take a long swim. The captain's explanations during the day are also worth mentioning. They were comprehensive, supplemented with a lot of valuable background information. I can only warmly recommend this tour.

The tour was perfect; pick up from the hotel and boarded on the catamaran boat; we received a detailed planning when on the boat, and during the trip there was more information about the islands we passed. We had two stops for a short walk to an amazing viewing point, after the second stop we had 2+ hours on White Haven beach for a swim. The crew was very friendly and helpful. The food served on board was excellent. The whole trip was perfect and well organized 👍, we enjoyed it very much.

Excellent Whitsundays day trip

Excellent day trip of the Whitsundays on a very comfortable boat. This trip doesn't include snorkelling, but the boat was super steady and the captain was exceptional at keeping us safe, informed and educated. We had had a bad experience the previous day on another boat, so we were very happy with this pleasant, relaxing experience. The two small hikes were great, and spending time on beautiful Whitehaven beach was a dream come true. As a wonderful bonus, the food was fantastic. I highly recommend this tour operator for touring the Whitsundays in relaxing comfort!

WOW! What an excellent day exploring Whithaven Island out of Airlie Beach on the Sealink "Big Island Day Tour" with a 2hr stop at South Whitehaven beach for a swim in the pristine waters before heading to Tongue Bay & hiking up to the Inlet Hill Lookout. An absolute 'must do' on the Bucket List. 👍

Loved it. recommended

We booked late and this was actually the only trip we could find. However we loved the big boat feel. Being able to walk around the boat and spend some time in the sunny but windy top deck. Great lunch and other snacks. Well organised and good staff. I would highly recommend this trip. The itinerary is perfect to get a good experience of Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet. A relaxing day.

We all had such a great time, amazing crew, very friendly and informative. Macca was an awesome tour guide on our walk. The food spread was beautiful. The beach time we had was amazing. Family of 5 and we all had a really good time. Thank you.

Brilliant value experience

This tour is brilliant. Hotel drop off and pick up included. All day cruise and guide around the islands, Hill Lookout and Whitehaven beach. Fed multiple snacks and lunch throughout the day. The crew were super professional yet great craic at the same time. The organisation and coordination of all the passengers really impressed me the most when it came to the buffet, tendering ashore and distribution of stinger suits. Always calm and effficent. I also really appreciated the marquee shade on the beach during the 2 hours. GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY! A must do when in Airlie Beach.

It was ok, could have been better.

Everything was ok, but spent too much time in Whitehaven beach and there was not enough time to visit Betty's Beach, we could only see the hill inlet lookout. No snorkeling available either. Food was average, crew was good. I went with another tour in the past and it was really great comparing to this one.

Bad experience

We are charged extra $100 while booking, family discount is not applied for 2A2C. They didn’t even take us to the Betty’s beach while it was the only reason we took the trip and they just took us to the look out point where we spent 1 hour for taking pics and walk in 35C heat. Gourmet lunch was just regular salad and cold chicken and cold roast beef, don’t expect any gourmet food as claimed. Very dirty seats and fully occupied tables, we had to stay outside and eat on our laps. The first beach they took us was lots of weeds and leaves, couldn’t enjoy the water and we spent 2,5h there doing nothing. I would never recommend this tour to anyone who would like to get true Whitehaven experience. It was definitely not worth it

Do yourself a favour - just go!

We were told it would be a 'brochure day' and I can confirm it was absolutely stunning @sealinkwhitsundays get on board peeps! An absolute must to travel with these guys! The destination is breath-taking and these guys do a superb job! A massive cat that could hold 3 times more peeps but they are dedicated to providing a comfortable trip. The booking service was great - my request for gluten free happily accommodated. I did give some feedback to ensure that items were coeliac friendly but I can say that no contamination occurred. (always a good thing). The skipper and boat crew are fantastic and you have a good couple of hours on the beach... they provided beach games for the big and small kids... the water is stunning and the sand just needs to be experienced to be believed. Don't take my word for it... see it for yourself you will not be disappointed. Its a bucket list thing.

Outstanding Whitehaven Beach experience and friendly professional staff

Excellent tour, which ran smoothly from start to finish. Staff were exceptional and in particular Dave and Jade were outstanding in the care they gave my elderly Dad. The whole crew were helpful and friendly and the onboard commentary was very interesting. We travel a lot internationally and agree that this was one of the best run tours we have done in Australia. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a brilliant day at Whitehaven Beach and a glimpse of many other Whitsundays Islands.

An eventful day

It’s a very well planned organized tour. The guided hikes were perfect. Food was awesome. Can’t think of anything that I didn’t enjoy.

Well planned trip. The crew is very organized and everything is very good and efficient. It would be great to see the Hill Inlet Lookout though which is not included.
