Charged twice but no refund

Made booking but no confirmation email, got charged twice even though Fly Australia has said they refunded me.

Best experience in Whitsundays

This was the best experience in Whitsundays. We took the 8am scenic flights. The view on the islands, Whitehaven beach and the Great Barrier Reef are breathtaking beauty. Bilal Othman is professional skilled pilot. He drove the plane with smooth takeoff and landing. He also introduced the sceneries along the way. Peter the driver picked us up from Airlie Beach Lagoon. He also did a thorough onboarding introduction before the flight. Strongly recommend this scenic flight!

Absolutely beautiful

This was a tremendous experience. It was an amazing prospective that I think is a must for everyone. We went on the flight before going out on the reef snorkelling the next day and it was helped appreciate how lucky we are to be able to experience this place. This is a must do, we will never forget this

Highly recommended experience and with trustworthy people

The experience was incredible. Everyone was very nice and they make you feel very comfortable and safe in every time. The coral reef from the air, a more than beuatiful scene. Additionally, we had an issue to go after the activity to the proserpine airport and the lady who drove the van help us to get a transport to get there at time. She IS THE BEST!!!

Our (quite literally) highlight of our trip in Australia!

You’ll never ever regret doing this. We booked really last minute because for us (as backpackers on a budget) it was quite an investment. But I’m so happy we did it, it’s a once in a lifetime experience and 100% worth it.

Unforgettable Experience

Truly unforgettable experience. Seeing the heart of the reef is incredible and totally worth the price. We had a one hour flight over Whitsundays and the Great Barrier Reef. We had plenty of time to enjoy the view and the pick up service from Airlie Beach worked smoothly.

Very impressed with their professionalism

Our flight was cancelled due to severe weather but I wanted to leave a review of how well this company and the employees handled this. They picked us up quickly and did everything possible to make our flight happen. I was very impressed at the fact that they did not take us up just to keep our payment when the sightings would have not been good due to the weather. The operation is very professional and I was very impressed with everything from start to finish. They even returned my Father and I back to our ship at the port even thought that was not required or promised. Very impressed.

I had the absolute pleasure of seeing the Great Barrier Reef and the entire Whitsundays islands on the scenic plane ride. It was by far the best part of travelling Australia for me.

Stunning trip

After having to defer our flight due to bad weather the team worked hard to make sure we had a great experience. Everything was great. The commentary was informative and even though there were clouds the flight was spectacular. Would definitely recommend this company. Bonus that it leaves from Shute Harbour and not Proserpine.

Pilot gives interesting facts about the whitsundays and the coral reef. He was very attentive. A beautiful flight you definitely can't forget.

Scenic Flight

Although it was a bit cloudy, we had a lovely flight around the area of the Whitsundays and the Great Barrier Reef. Nice staff and pilot who explained a lot of things to us during the flight. We can definetly recommend this (once in a lifetime) experience ✈️

An absolute must if you are staying in Airlie Beach area

Just returned from an hour long flight over the Whitsundays and it was truly awesome, from the driver who picked us up, bang on time, to our pilot, Talin, who was fantastic. He was so knowledgeable, both about the area and the conditions we were flying in. He told us when we would get the best photos and videos. He also told us when it was likely to be a little turbulent, in case any of us were a tad nervous. I absolutely recommend this trip. We loved every second of it. Thank you to everyone at Oceanrafting/flyraft.

Incredible flight experience with amazing views. Everyone gets a window seat. We did not have air conditioning in ours, that was a con. A little bit expensive but worth it.

Beautiful Experience

If you want to see one of the worlds wonders from a unique perspective this trip is for you🩵 The views are absolutely unreal I have never seen anything quite like it, the Great Barrier Reef from aerial view is extraordinary 😍 The flight is quite comfortable too with running commentary from the pilot which is really interesting to listen too, honestly you’ll be amazed by what you see down below!

Amazing flight over whitsundays and Great Barrier Reef

What an amazing experience. I would definitely recommend. It was a slightly windy day and the pilot said it may get a little bumpy but it was absolutely fine and a very soft landing. The scenery was amazing and he went around so that both sides could see the best bits. The pick up was on time and driver very friendly. No waiting around, after a safety briefing straight onto the plane which was very comfortable.

Yours disappointed due to weather conditions

The aero drome was quite modern and quite well organised, unfortunately the flight was cancelled due to inclimate weather which was a great pity as it was to be a highlight of our holiday, we were at Airlie just for the day, so no movemt on alternative flight which weren’t offered ( presumably due to weather conditions). Ps: could you please let me know how to apply for a refund ?

What an amazing experience, you will never regret it!

Thoroughly enjoyed the scenic flight. The staff are very friendly, as well as professional and reassuring. Fantastic communication, I felt very safe on the flight, everything was perfect.

Highlight of our trip

Having dived at Hardy Reef and taken a trip to Hill Inlet and Whitehaven Beach we were keen to see it all from above. It didn’t disappoint - the views were incredible. I would highly recommend

Amazing !!!! One of the best experiences we have had ! Picked up from Airlie beach passenger terminal bus stop and dropped us back to the same location!

Disappointed

Cruise ship couldn’t anchor because of the wind. So no one got off the boat. Still got charged full price for the flight we couldn’t take.

View were unbelievable, the best scenic flight I’ve been on, pilot gives great descriptions of the different areas & flies perfectly along Whitehaven & Heart Island for the perfect picture, very professional & enjoyable experience thanks to the staff 10/10

Amazing but obstructed view

Very informative staff and such a beautiful view, definitely an unmissable activity. Only knocked a star because I was sat directly next to the wing and so my view was quite obstructed. I understand someone has to have that seat but there could be a slight discount for the obstructed view.

Great Barrier Reef Fly-Over

We had perfect weather - very unusual for this time of year. We could see the reef very well. Brock was informative and helpful. Note that the cafe closed at noon (right when we returned / possibly because it was a Sunday). We would do it again!

Weather is in charge

Our flight was cancelled due to the weather. However communication and flexibility with this company was fantastic. I also want to mention that Quantum of the Seas tendered to Schute Harbor. There is a shuttle bus to town and the meeting place is close by. Maybe we can take the flight some day.

Unfortunately my flight cancelled due to bad weather. To be honest I wasn't surprised but I remained hopeful ! I'm still leaving a review though because all my dealings with this company were positive. I was on a cruise ship just spending one day at Airlie Beach. I didn't know where we were tendering so wasn't sure about the pick up. The communication with this company was great and when my flight cancelled the refund was processed really quickly. I live in London but if ever I'm lucky enough to return to Airlie Beach I wouldn't hesitate to rebook this tour.

Once in a lifetime trip

An absolutely once in a lifetime trip. Superb views of the islands and Great Barrier Reef including heart reef. Our pilot gave us great information on what we could see and gave us plenty of opportunity for fabulous photos. Don't be put off if you think the plane is small and the flight will be rough. It was really smooth. I would recommend this trip to anyone

Unbelievable experience

Unbelievable experience! I was terrified of flying in a small plane, but the pilot was made us all feel very comfortable. We also found out a lot of random facts about each of the islands and also the reefs! Would 100% do this again

Exception experience

The trip was organised online and instructions were clear. Great driver pickup with preparation talk en route. Well organised and professional. Flight was as expected as weather was a bit stormy. The Great Barrier Reef defies words or pictures. Thank you for taking us to see a natural phenomenon. It’s a memory forever!

Great time and experience. Good organisation from collection to drop off. Would have like maybe a small bit for time going over the reef but all in all a great experience
