Amazing Taj Mahal experience with the best guide

I feel so lucky I got Lalita as my tour guide to the Taj Mahal! She is so knowledgeable and kind. She organized every little detail: Pickup from the train station, restaurant, Sari rental, amazing tour in the Taj Mahal and the mausoleum. Lalita also made sure to take nice pictures of me at the site. She even invited me to her home to eat Biryani and her talented daughter painted Henna on my hand. I’m so grateful for this once in a lifetime experience that I’ll never forget. Highly recommend visiting the magical and impressive Taj Mahal with a guide, and especially with Lalita.

We had a great time at our tour at the Taj Mahal. Our guide was very friendly and took care of any of our needs, including getting us water and making stops on the way to any shops we would like. Rashid was a great guild, and very knowledgeable about the Taj Mahal and its history

Guide too focus on making money

The visit wasn’t as we expected - They guide was trying to make money from us. First with the taxi, etc - We’re supposed to get water with the entrance but we didn’t - The content of the explanations was extremely poor. We read more from Wikipedia than what the guide told us - DON’T let the guide bring you to “the artesans” that work the stones. They get mad if you don’t want to buy later - Probably you don’t need to be there at 6:00

Sunrise tour with guide Hall

Tour started very early in the morning but it was totally worth it. Our guide was very helpful and knowledgeable since the beginning of the tour. On top of being extremely nice, he had amazing photograph skills. I recommend everyone to book their Taj Mahal experience with this amazing company.

Our guide Me Kapil, was polite, educated, punctual and very knowledgeable of the Taj Mahal. He new the right spots for photographs, and avoided most of the crowd. Clear and knowledgeable of the history of the monument. He was not imposing. Totally the opposite, very respectful.

Outstanding tour with Pankaj

Pankaj was absolutely brilliant! From the moment we met, he had such an in-depth knowledge of everything to do with the star attraction (Taj Mahal) as well as the surrounding noted areas. A beautiful sight, but...

A must-see sight. However, be prepared for crowds. The approaches are very littered and unpleasant. Given the fame of this place and the revenues it must generate, the authorities could improve the image of India by cleaning them up.

Taj Mahal is so beautiful! Our guide Lalita was excellent! She picked us up at our hotel, took us by car and tuk tuk to Taj Mahal, which we entered in no time with her and our VIP ticket. This was a once in a lifetime experience of sheer beauty.

Amazing day from start to finish!

A great day from start to finish! The guide met us at our hotel and transported us to the Taj via tuk tuk. There was no waiting in line and we were inside the Taj within 5 minutes. The guide was very knowledgeable and informative and told us all about the history of the Taj. The highlight was proposing to my girlfriend outside the Taj and she said yes!! The guide was brilliant with helping me record the moment on video and he even recommended the perfect place for me to propose. Such an amazing day! I would highly recommend booking with this company.

Cold, foggy, exciting,memorable

I usually don’t do reviews, that being said like so many people my age (70) and older there are places in the world I want to visit. I gave the tour a four stars because I don’t believe in perfection. Something’s like weather are always a crapshoot so this morning i rolled snake eyes and got a very foggy day. Somehow I didn’t let poor visibility lower my excitement of being at the Taj Mahal . For me a sucker for love , There is no greater of love than is magnificent burial temple. My English speaking tour guide Bobby was great , no real problems understanding him( no more than some English speaking people trying to understand my southern drawl) He was full of knowledge. And I would also like to give big ups to the driver no ride at six flags has anything on being driven around the streets of Agra. You would be lucky to get my guide and driver, may your visit to the Taj Mahal be filled with great weather and it lives up to your expectations.

We felt like we were being used for our money.

Overall poor experience. Both Guide and driver were nice to us, (however, if you are looking for an in depth explanation of the history behind the Taj you might be disappointed) it felt the tour was organised in a way that forced to spend money rather than visiting the city of Agra. We felt like we were just being used for our money. Soon after the Taj Mahal visit, without much explaining what was happening, the guide led us to have lunch in an overpriced restaurant. After that, we were told we would visit some form of historical place but instead we were forced to visit a clothes shop and a souvenir shop where staff insisted for us to buy stuff. We had no choice in this.

Absolutely fabulous day at the taj with Vishnu our wow tour guide booked via booking.com. We was collected from the hotel by rickshaw,taken promptly through all the checks,being winter the Taj looked magical in the mist. Our guide took wonderful photos of us both which he promptly air dropped to our phones at the end of the excursion,it was a truly magical and the our guide was fabulous,thoroughly recommend this company and of course Vishnu. The driver and guide were professional, helpful and pleasant. It was a fun day in Agra visiting the Taj Mahal and the Agra fort.

Great guide and photography

We were picked up from our hotel on time at 6:30 and dropped off at the western gate. As promised, we skipped the lines. Our guide was very knowledgeable and took us into the mausoleum first. We had declined a professional photographer and were glad about this, as our guide knew all the best spots and took a few really amazing shots of us. We were also taken to a marble factory where we got a small souvenir. I think it’s an excellent introduction to the Taj Mahal and having a guide is worth it but the one thing we missed was a bit of free time. If we could do it over, we would have asked them to leave us there and pick us up later to really soak up the atmosphere. (As it was, we did return later and walked around another 2.5 hours by ourselves). I will say that it is a somewhat pricey option but then again, you will save on the photographer. Overall, we were very happy and recommend this tour and operator!

Taj Mahal, sight to be seen with your own eyes

Ezaz our guide did a great job. We were the first to enter, made some amazing photgraphs because of this fact. Ezaz is very knowledgeable. Taj Mahal is a sight to be seen with your own eyes. Photographs don’t do justice to this extraordinary monument. 10/10

Taj Mahal - beautiful, highlight of our trip

The Taj Mahal completely exceeded our expectations. We visited twice - at sunset and then sunrise the following day. Both visits were magical, and made even more special by our guide Bobby. Bobby was helpful, informative and friendly. He also showed us all the great photo spots, and was a fab photographer too! He explained the history well and allowed us to take our time. We were even helped to get through the entry gates, and whole experience was stress free! Visiting the Taj Mahal with India Saying Namaste was a highlight of our trip.

Beautiful and life changing

This was a life changing experience. We loved seeing the beauty and majesty of the Taj Mahal and hearing the history surrounding it. Pictures don’t do it justice. Our guide was very knowledgeable and knew all the best picture spots. The only thing we disliked was the craftsman sale at the end. We were driven to a small shop where they demonstrated how the stones (like the ones built for the Taj Mahal) were crafted, but then they pressured us (heavily) to buy their new merchandise. It was okay, it was just not part of the original scheduled tour and took us by surprise.

Azaz and his network were great at getting us into the Taj Mahal quickly.Azaz was also a great tour guide, very knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The only part of the tour we did not enjoy, was after the Taj Mahal tour, we were “hustled” to shop for souvenirs.

Our guide, Azaz, was absolutely fantastic, he confirmed all the details of the tour with us the day before and picked us up on time, his knowledge of the Taj was outstanding- you can really see that he has a passion for his work. He knew all the great photo spots at the Taj and was also a great photographer! Thank you Azaz!

Great guide but transparency needed on shops!

Firstly, the star rating is taking into account the whole experience, not specifically our tour guide (Azuz), who we thought was really good and recommend! We had difficulties getting to the Taj on the day of our tour (due to main road closure) and he made sure we got there by rickshaw through old Agra, even though those roads had also been closed due to the vast number of people having to take this alternative route. Azuz got us past the queues, gave us extensive background information on the Taj throughout the tour itself and answered all of our questions. When the shoe protectors ran out for walking on the Taj, he ensured we still got some elsewhere and also was great at taking pictures of us. The reason for the deduction of stars is after the tour we were taken to a jewellery store and a marble art store without us being asked if this was something we would like. It made us feel very uncomfortable and tainted the whole tour. In future, please be transparent and ask your customers if this is something they would be interested in.

Guide never showed up and we left on our own. The owner refunded the tour cost and we were able to use the provided tickets.

Spectacular experience at a smooth pace

Perfect pace and dodged quickly through the long lines of Taj Mahal . Lalita was a spectacular guide, very informative and made many great suggestions of other activities around the city including local restaurants and arts & craftsman.

Historic tour with a knowledgeable and thoughtful guide.

Aashish was an extremely informative and helpful guide who was super flexible with times and schedules. He handled all the administration of the tours, and knew everything about the monuments that we saw. In addition to viewing the Taj Mahal, the RedFort, and the Baby Taj, he also took me to craftsman shops to show me how the inlays and carpets were made by hand with an opportunity to purchase these goods at each stop. He took care to make sure I was comfortable and enjoying myself. I would highly recommend him as your guide.
