Taj Mahal Skip-the-Line Guided Tour with Optional Add-ons

We did – they were great! Excellent round trip from our Delhi hotel (Aerocity), to the Taj (with a guide, tickets all sorted and jump the queue), tuktuks, golf carts etc… All sorted. Even water throughout. We chose a 6am pickup and Azam organised one of his drivers, Danish, to pick us up. Danish was prompt and friendly. Azam made sure that we had all of Danish’s details (Whatsapp number, reg, name, confirmation of location of pickup etc) the night before. Danish is an excellent driver and always made sure we had cold water, WC / refreshment stops as required on the journey there and back. In Agra, Azhar (our guide) joined us and organised everything. Golf cart from the taxi drop off point, jump the queue entry, tickets, knowledgeable information and an excellent photographer as well. Showed us all the best places to get shots and took many of us (on our phones!), too. Note the reflection of the Taj in my sunglasses) Azhar grabbed us some cold water after a few hours and negotiated a few purchases on our behalf (important as a tourist). A tuktuk ride later and a little tour of the surrounding area, we met up again with Danish, who took us back to Delhi. Itinerary: 6am pick up, arrive Taj approx. 9.30ish (we did have a comfort break and some food on the way down and similarly on return). 2.5 hours is enough in the Taj. A little tour around the local area and a bit of shopping. We met Danish again and back to our hotel just after 4pm – well worth the time. The price is WELL WORTH IT and do not be fooled by hotel prices – go direct and save. Azam and his crew are fantastic and if we come again with guests, I would contact Azam each and every time. Best way to contact him is via WhatsApp +91 800 674 1421 NOTE: We were here at the beginning of May and this is low season. It was warm and heads up, bring a hat and a travel towel to cover your neck / wipe sweat! BUT – not too warm (as in June / July) and the upside was less crowds, smoother transfers and less lines for things like photos on the Dianna bench (we walked up and waited less than a minute). We would be happy to recommend Azam, Danish and Azhar to anyone. We went through the hotel at first and nearly fainted at their quote. Azam and his team was the answer.

Visit to the Taj

Outstanding Tour, Mr Akleem Khan was a wonderful guide who brought me around Taj Mahal. I faced some baggage issues at the security counter but he helped me through the process which made it so seamless. He also helped me take wonderful pictures (free of charge) and he gave insightful knowledge of the Taj. Definitely will recommend him to my friends! This Singaporean approves of this guide!

Great experience with Imran at the Taj Mahal!

We had a great time with Imran at the Taj Mahal. He was very knowledgeable and knew some great facts about the history and the building. Also he knew al the best places to take pictures and turned out to be a very good photographer himself. Highly recommended!

Highly professional and friendly service

Our experience has been end-to-end comfortable. Their service is very professional. Throughout the time Azam was the one in touch with me. He is very kind and courteous on the phone and always responds by text as well as phone immediately if you have any problem or questions. So the post-booking and pre-tour experience was really good. The driver was on time with a placard on Delhi Airport to receive us. On our request Azam arranged an Innova for us. The car was excellent. Clean, in great condition and the driver Shankar was very responsible and we never for a moment felt worried during our 3 hour in-dark drive. Next day, Azhar, our Taj Mahal guide was super on time in the lobby at 530am for a sunrise visit to the Taj. Azhar is easy going and super 'chill', he doesn't overload you with lot of talking. He gives you enough time at every place, and is a master photographer! He was ever ready to take all kinds of photographs of me and my husband ...some that we would have never thought of. At the same time he picked up our vibe as not being crazily into silly photographs and never pestered us to pose for photographs. Of course, he's knowledgeable about the Taj. Finally gave us a good 20 mins to explore it on our own. Later he took us to Agra Fort, which was also a great experience In the evening he took us again to Baby Taj - a beautiful, less famous monument, and another Taj viewpoint at sunset. [Please note though - the visits to the marble art store and the Kashmir store are definitely for you to buy something, although they are showcased as visits to artisans and their work. This is common in all tourist places in India. Please be ready for it. There's absolutely no way to avoid it. Be ready, either to buy, or somehow be firm and not buy. The art is no doubt beautiful, and we did end up buying in both places. ] Next day, Azam arranged a trip for us to Fatehpur Sikri. Again, they were super-on-time at 630am. At Fatehpur Sikri, another guide Anish gave us the tour. We really liked Anish too. All in all a very very professional service experience, so far not a thing has gone wrong. We'll be dropped off tomorrow at the train station.

Overall perfect Taj Mahal experience

Trip was extremely well organized. Guide was friendly and informative. Very considerate of our pace travelling with an infant. Helpful in every way. No rushing. Assisted with photography and other needs. Organized last minute transport to Delhi for reasonable price for us. Complete transparency. Very responsive staff via whatsapp and super flexible with schedule.

Knowledgeable and safe guide

My guide Arif was exceptional in his knowledge and consideration of my experience helping me to understand a lot more detail about the Taj Mahal, its history India and Agra itself. Arif also helped with taking particularly beautiful photos and at all times I felt perfectly safe, which is important for single female travellers who in addition are foreign not knowing systems and language. Excellent service!

Excellent service from Manager Azam, Driver Dinesh, and Guide Azhar. 3-hr ride was comfortable. 2023 car, good suspension, good driving. AC was working fine. Guide was accommodating. I wanted more time to take photos and he gave me enough time to do so. He also helped me take some portrait shots of myself. Good introduction to Taj Mahal too. Detailed enough to be interesting. No lining up and shoe covers were provided. Manager was responsive too and made sure I was comfortable. He also asked for my location to make sure I was ok. Overall, Taj Imperial Guide's service is great and recommended!

Azhar from Taj Imperial Guide was Amazing, very knowledgable, well spoken and throughtful and explained everything about Taj mahal and Agra fort to us very smoothly, we had only booked him for the Taj mahal tour but wanted to see Agra fort as well. He was kind enough to quickly arrange comfortable car, and take us to the Agra fort and Guide us around as well, A few intangiable strengths Azhar was very respectful and helped us push back on vendors and touts that were bothering us to take photos or to buy wares, he was also quick on his feet and helped add more sights to our tour quickly and effortlessly. Well organized and would use again

Arif our guide was at the hotel on time. Organized transport and had tickets ready so we could visit at sunrise. Make the effort as crowds were way worse as we left Tour organizer was very responsive and woujd feel happy using them again One star dropped because of the vulgarity of the guide. Just too familiar and started a whole line about women and sex which at 5.45am I did not need

I had a great experience on this tour. Azam organised the tour for me. Ajay (driver) and Imraan (guide) picked me up at 6am for the sunrise visit to Taj Mahal. Entry was quick and straightforward. Imraan was an amazing guide, very friendly, informative and most taking some great photos to capture the memories!

Excellent experience at Taj Mahal

This was a great tour! The tour coordinator contacted me in advance and offered a complimentary wheelchair for Taj Mahal when he discovered I was traveling with my elderly father. We were picked up right on time at the airport at 5 am. We drove to Agra and, at our request, ate breakfast at a nice little restaurant in Agra. Then we met our tour guide Azhar. He was kind, patient and very knowledge. He shared lots of historical facts. He is from Agra and his local pride was evident. He knew the best sites and angles for pictures and took many great photos of us. We were so impressed we booked another tour for the next day and requested Azhar for our guide. Also, truly a skip the line experience at Taj Mahal.

This was a great afternoon, we only had the afternoon and our guide Azam helped us to use every minute of it . from texting n whatsapp and from the point of pick up, it was easy and relaxed. he took us to a nice restaurant before we travelled back to jaipur and it was a very memorable afternoon. we were tired and said we didnt want to go to the factory just to dinner. he took us afterwards which was interesting and didnt take long. We didnt buy anything but this was graciously accepted with no pressure to buy

Thanks to Taj Imperial Guide for organising this tour for a deeper insight on the breathtaking monuments of Agra. My guide Azhar was very detailed in his explaination of the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, spending some time in each spot to explain the rich history, culture and architecture of the buildings. Although it was only a short 4 hour trip, I’ve experienced so much and gained a deeper understanding of how much it takes to build such incredible structures.

Birthday at Taj Mahal

Our tour guide Azhar was patient and informative, regaling us with stories while also giving us space to explore on our own terms. He was happy to help capture our memories with photos. We would definitely prefer a more cheerful guide, but this was not bad. We have to mention, We accidentally left our moisturizer in the car, and Azam, went above and beyond to ensure we got it back as soon as possible. He even apologized for our mistake, showing true humility and care for our well-being throughout the entire experience. Overall, it was an exceptional tour with attentiveness and genuine hospitality.

Everything was organised very well by manager Azam. Communication was high level. Guide Akleem was very skillful and told a lot interesting facts about famous places. And driver Bhupesh was extremelly patient, friendly and kind to all oir family. We highly recommend The service to all!

Without doubt one of the favourite place Taj Mahal. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by azhar ,we felt welcomed and with such a friendly atmosphere we had a fantastic start! The guide and tour was extremely good, very flexible (appreciate this!) and for that she deserves a special thanks. Azhar is such a warm personality and highly motivated guide (recommendable!). I truly enjoyed walking of us through the area. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. the end was a great way to end the tour. Historian and photographer all in one

We initially had booked just the Taj Mahal tour but decided to also add on the Agra fort tour. We were communicating with Azam prior to our trip and he was extremely responsive and helpful. Day of the tour we got picked up by our tour guide Azhar and driver Vijay. Azhar was knowledgeable in all history of Agra fort and Taj Mahal; even answered our out of the box questions. We started off at the fort given the fog would render Taj Mahal not visible; the fort was beautiful and the tour very optimized. At the Taj Mahal tour—once we got near the entrance, Azhar bought us chai given how cold it was—extremely kind of him. We then skipped the line and got in within minutes. He gave us historical facts as we got thru the whole site and took amazing photos of us as well. What I liked was he gave us time to explore it ourselves — he didn’t rush us like a tour guide I had 5 years ago. Given how hectic Agra is and seeing both sites I don’t think we could’ve done seeing them both without a a guide. Happy to alleviate the stress we would’ve had without them. Highly recommend booking Azhar for this trip; similarly booking Vijay the driver — he optimized our drop off, pickup, great driving and clean car.

Booking and viewing of Taj was a breeeezzzeee.

We booked it by Viator website, Wow! and we weren’t disappointed, our guide Azhar is the best guide around Agra he helped us and explain al the bits and pieces of the Taj and was extra helpful and accommodating. Our tour took a bit longer than the original time but Azhar and our Driver Vijay were so courteous and professional. They made it absolutely easy for us. I would also like to mention Azam, the tour manager for his smooth communication.

Nice relaxed tour with friendly knowledgeable guide who is also a fantastic photographer. Was able to ensure we weren't hanging around too long to get the photos we wanted as he was able to speak with the other guides and local tourists. Also pointed us in the direction of a good place to eat which is a win win.

Outstanding! Azam, the tour guide manager, worked with us to make sure our experience was amazing. He coordinated the little things to make it memorable for our group of 8. Our guides Azhar and Akleem were extremely knowledgeable about everything related to the Taj. They even managed to keep my 80 year old mother and teenagers engaged in the experience! Two thumbs up!
