Exactly what we were looking for!

Aasheesh was a fantastic guide for our visit to the Taj Mahal. He was deeply knowledgeable, engaging and understandable, and was very flexible in meeting our needs when our timing moved up an hour at the last minute Aasheesh was able to cover everything from history of period, context and purpose behind building the Taj, the building engineering and construction features, the effort it took to construct, and more. The day we visited seemed relatively quiet and so I expect that the time in line without "skip-the-line" tickets would not have been long. However, for us, the fact that Aasheesh had that all ready, and we didn't have to worry about that at all, was invaluable. The post-Taj Artisan shop tour wasn't for us, but it may be for others. I recommend Aasheesh.

Really nice experience

Since my husband and I don't have much experience with tour guides, I had mixed feelings about how our tour would turn out... However, I was pleasantly surprised by Aashish, who was very helpful. It started with the purchase of a ticket, going through the control to the tour of this beautiful monument. We also visited the Red Fort together. Aashish has an incredible memory for information, he knows so many interesting things from history and today that we couldn't help but wonder. We learned interesting information, we saw beautiful places. We take with us a very nice day spent together. Definitely recommended if you want to experience a day full of history, facts and interesting stories.

We visited the Taj Mahal and Agra Firt, together with Aashish as a guide. We had a nice tour and learned a lot from him. He can tell you a lot about both creatures and is good at taking pictures ;) Highly recommended !

Aashish is very good at sharing the knowledge of the Taj Mahal as well as the local culture. He has invested in his customers and you will not be disappointed. Awesome tour with great guide

The tour with Aashish was really great. He took a lot of time for the tour and gave us all kinds of exciting facts. The hours at and in the Taj Mahal not only flew by, but were also more memorable than without all the interesting information. Aashish also kept encouraging us to take beautiful pictures of various things (after all, he knows the best spots) and also took some very nice pictures of us that you would otherwise have to pay for (there are photographers on site). As Aashish and our tuk tuk driver (Vikram, also highly recommended!) already knew each other, we were driven to a few hundred meters in front of the entrance. From there, we were guided to the entrance where we could skip the line. They even bought the tickets for us online and kept the money until the end of the tour. All in all, we can say that we were very happy with the great tour and the support beyond that! And of course, the price is really really good for what you get! Best, Laura & Christoph from Germany

Great private tour guide

Aashish was a very kind and helpful guide who made our short stay in Agra extremely enjoyable. He met us at our hotel and walked us to the Taj Mahal before it opened so we could have a private tour during sunrise. His knowledge of the history of its construction was extensive. Then he walked us to a wonderful restaurant where we enjoyed delicious food with a rooftop view of the Taj Mahal. He then took us via tuk tuk to Fort Agra where we again benefitted from his knowledge during a private tour. He also helped us at our hotel to arrange for a car to take us to our next destination. I highly recommend WOW and Aashish Gupta in particular when you visit Agra.

Great experience with a knowledgeable and respectable guide

Aashish is absolutely a wonderful guide and genuinely a nice person. A stark contrast to our experience with a different guide for Delhi tour. He shared all his details the previous day. He was right there outside of my train compartment to pickup. Able to get us some medicine even though stores were closed. He is a wealth of knowledge and knows how to pace himself. He allowed us to take time to sink in the beauty of the monuments. Paced his commentary really well. Did I mention that he is also a great photographer. You really don't need to hire a photographer if you're with him. He ensured that we were not hassled by street vendors. He is also very transparent and honest. He mentioned that he would return some money towards the end as they charged foreigner ticket for me. Totally recommend him as your guide.

Ashish was great as our government-approved tour guide recently and showed us Agra's two rich architectural marvels, the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort He seems very experienced and told us that he has been doing this for the past 15 years or so. He not only showcased an in-depth knowledge of the historical significance of these iconic landmarks but also infused the tour with engaging anecdotes that brought the past to life. He went through the intricate details of the history behind the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. He was able to answer almost all of our questions in good detail, some of which were quite specific to be honest. He tailored their explanations to our group's interests, ensuring everyone remained captivated throughout the visit. Additionally, he was able to continue and help us navigate the the Agra Fort well in time as we had a train to take us back to Delhi. His communication skills were great and he was actually able to get us through a lot of long lines with ease. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who would want to enjoy a fun day in Agra and learn about the fascinating history of these truly timeless structures.
