What a great way to se the afternoon and experience a ride in a vehicle that can go on water or land. The tour guide was awesome with great knowledge of the area. We experienced a pod of dolphins on our trip witch was truly amazing. A must do experience with family or friends. Just awesome

Afternoon tour

My partner and I had a great afternoon tour on the Larc. Our guide, Isabell was lovely and very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the local area and bird life. Well worth the money for this tour.

Isabella was a great guide, really informed and interesting. We had a great cruise and learned loads about the area. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the Agnes/1770 area.

Relaxing afternoon cruise

Loved our afternoon cruise so relaxing and we had a chance to take photos with larc halfway through on the beach

We were extremely happy with the experience but not happy with Viator. This is the second time we’ve had trouble.

Continuing from below…. Having paid but our names not being on their listing when we got there so we had to go on another trip.

The 1 hr trip was a very informative and awesome experience. The Larc was full and people were well entertained and informed on the ecological and historical significance of the area. Top Shelf Neil.

4 days of relaxation

excellent tavern meals, lamb wellington 99.5% Larc tour most enjoyable. Sunset cruise also most enjoyable especially the NIBBLES!

Great experience!

What a great day (in spite of the rain) Kev the guide and skip Antony were fantastic! An absolute wealth of knowledge and insight, with just the right amount of dad jokes! Learning about the areas history, native vegetation and animals was absolutely fascinating and the trip to the light house museum and cemetery was a highlight. Nothing beats the views ! Absolutely beautiful! Loads of laughs and the sand dunes slides were fantastic! Special mention to Kev and his coin trick and serenading on the trip home! Great snacks and fantastic Billy tea all adding to the experience. We highly recommend the full day trip. You won’t be disappointed. Rain or sunshine the team make it a memorable time for all onboard!

Excellent afternoon

This afternoon cruise was excellent and value for money. The driver/host was very informative on history, wildlife and botany. Amazing presentation and very personalised also with her family history in 1770. We both loved the afternoon immensely.

LARC

The trip is amazing but the stories are the best! Take an afternoon tour and learn about the environment. We really enjoyed it.

Driver was lovely but didn't really see a lot

Our driver was very knowledgable and informative although we were expecting to see a little more wildlife other than birds. I know you can't really control animals but I felt like 1 hour is probably a little too rushed to try and search for anything. The driver took us out to see a baitball in the water but unless you were sitting on the side with the seat close to the side you couldn't really see much. If you are in Agnes Waters/1770 then I would recommend doing this because it's really one of very few attractions for the area.

Larc tour wildlife surprise

Great experience going on the larc. Ant gave wonderful knowledgeable commentary on all the surroundings of the tour we did. Very family friendly trip we did on the 1 hour afternoon cruise.

Our tour guide, Ant, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the environment. He showed us a bull nosed ray feeding in the shallows which was a real treat. The ray was huge and looked like a shark swishing through the water.

Fun and enjoyable

Great trip out on the LARC, Dan made the tour fun and enjoyable. Suitable for all ages. Would highly recommend, well worth the money

Afternoon Scenic Cruise on a LARK

The second time on a lark cruise, just as nice as the first. An informative talk by Mac, a lovely scenic tour. Highly recommended.

Informative, entertaining and thoroughly enjoyable.

The driver told so many interesting, relevant facts in an entertaining way. This helped us look out for things we would not have noticed if we had just taken ourselves for a walk/drive/ride. My young grandchildren thoroughly loved the experience of the water splashing up, the freedom to look where they wanted and to talk to each other about what they saw. We all agreed it was a highlight of our holiday trip.

Disappointed

Went on the bus/ boat which broke down after 5min and were stranded on a sand bank for most of the hour we had booked, terrible communication about what happened and what needed to be done to rectify. Staff then fixed the issue and took us straight back to land, no discount or refund offered. Just dropped us off and didn’t mention that the hour we paid for we were standing on a sand bank.

Fabulous sunset tour on a LARC

We had a fabulous time out exploring Eurimbula NP on the LARC - fascinating history of the vehicle, expert knowledge of our driver/guide, Antony & a wonderful sunset as we returned. I’d highly recommend this trip.

1770 Larc Afternoon Tour

Very informative and enjoyable tour of 1770. Learned some history, saw some wildlife and had a few laughs with our tour guide. Highlight for us was seeing dolphins! Would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

Must do !!

What a wonderful experience for my Grandchildren and I. It was educational and fun. Definitely suggest it as a must do on a visit to 1770. We will be back to do the day trip :) Thank you to the wonderful staff. Jen

A must Do ! So much fun and picturesque.

Such a great afternoon tour of the local area both land and sea . Lots of information on 1770. Neil is a very passionate local who knows the area so well . The information of local wildlife is beautiful.

Best family experience

What a great experience for the entire family! My husband, our 2 year old and myself had the best time! We learnt so much about the local land and saw some pretty Amazing sights and animals! It shows and pays off that everyone there loves there job and want to make you feel just as at home as they are!

Amazing fun adventure great value - just do it

Was an amazing afternoon, we totally enjoyed our time on this adventure the team member was super friendly and so knowledgeable about the area, the animals and the environment. Wish had time to do the full day trip will definitely be back at a later time. Great value, just do it such an enjoyable outing.

Best $45 spent had so much fun very interesting. The team were very friendly and the guid was funny and knowledgeable of the local area.

A non negotiable must do in 1770!

The top two things to do in 1770 is a Reef trip or the LARC. There is a reason for that, it's brilliant! We should have booked so missed out on the longer tours... But it's amazing how much you get to see in an hour. The tour took us from land into the sea in the custom vibrant colored LARC, along the sand bar and along the beach by the National park a short distance. Our guide Neil, knew everything you wanted to know that you didn't realize you needed to know! Pointing out the' holes' in the sand made by stingrays hunting crab, stopping to pick up shells to explain why they have drilled holes in them (carnivorous snails!) and other interesting facts. We were lucky to see some kangaroos grazing along the shore of the National park too... Next time we will be sure to do a longer trip! Best fun outing!!

This is a your you must do when visiting 1770. The LARC, guide and location 10/10! This was a fantastic experience. From the children to the 100th birthday girl it was superb!

1770 Afternoon Adventure

I had a great time doing the LARC afternoon cruise. It was fun, and the guide was very funny and entertaining. I was keen to do the full day cruise but was fully booked so I ended up joining the 1 hour cruise- it was short and sweet!

Fabulous tour

Absolutely beautiful afternoon. Very knowledgeable and fun loving skipper, Dan. Will certainly do the lunch or all day option next time we come.

A must do activity!

Amazing! The tour guide was really knowledgeable about the local history and local wildlife. He was engaging and funny. We went as a group of 10 including younger kids, teens & adults. Everyone had a great time!

A trip on the LARK.

The afternoon toure on the LARK was an absolute HOOT. To be honest I was a bit sceptical to begin with, but it wasn't long, before our guide and operator of the LARK had us intrigued and in stiches with both his knowledge and his wit. We quickly got going by way of a small beach entry point for the LARK to drive down and into the water. once in the water we made our way across the inlet, to a large sand bank and straight up unto the sand where we were given an informative explanation, of the local area and the wild life. We trundled around on the sand bar for a while, with our guide an operator pointing out plenty of interesting features, We stopped for a while for the obligatory photo opportunity before climbing back on to the LARK and heading back toward the water. Where our operator promptly drove at full speed back into the water sending large sprays of water in all directions, much to the delight of everyone on board. Definitely worth the admittance fee and I would highly recommend a tour on the LARK.

Cool Adventure in the best place in Queensland

Had an awesome time on the Larc in 1770 today. The weather was glorious and our tour guide Antony did an amazing commentary. It was extremely worth the trip...and we would definately do it again. Thank you for the cool adventure!

A fun afternoon

A fun afternoon...made more memorable by our driver Dan who was very funny and engaging. Would recommend if you're looking for something a bit different.

Fantastic from start to finish

Can’t recommend LARC Seventeen Seventy afternoon tours enough. Fantastic from start to finish. I went with my one, three and four year old daughters. Most importantly they loved it. The tour guide was so knowledgeable about the area. We got to see stingrays and some other beautiful animals. We were able to take so many pictures. This is a must do for anyone visiting 1770.

Definate Must Do.

An absolute must do trip. Our Skipper was full of interesting and useful information with a great sense of humor which made the trip a great experience. Suitable for all ages. Didn't have enough time to do the full day trip, but is a definite must when we return. A huge thank you to Neil for an awesome and memorable time.

Awesome what ever age

Wow what a fantastic 1 hr trip. Had my 91 year old mum daughter and two grandsons we all had a blast. The guy that took us was very knowledgeable and full of fun we all learned something new. Best part (all was great )was going fast back into the water and water splashing every where. Looking forward to doing the 7hr one when I head back up to see the grandson's. A must do when your up that way.

This is the second time I have done an afternoon tour as a family with this organisation. The bookings were done effortlessly and we were given clear instructions. Worth doing!

Thoroughly enjoyed are 1-hour Larc tour and will be back to do the Paradise Tour. We learned some interesting facts about the history and wildlife of the area, as well as viewing the stunning land and seascape from our amazing amphibious vehicle. Highly recommend taking a Larc tour!

Very affordable family adventurer

Our family of 5 all thoroughly enjoy this little adventure. Our 3 Girls aged 8,5 and 2 loved the big splashes and the uniqueness of the whole experience. Would highly recommend this if you are in the Agnes Waters and 1770 area. Very affordable family outing and the staff are all so friendly.

We had a great time! Dan was our guide and made our trip a lot of fun. The entry into the water from the sandbank was awesome! Highly recommended!

LARC laughs

What a fun experience! Our guide was Dan and he was super excited to take us all on our adventure. Dan had great knowledge of the LARC and the area. It was a beautiful ride and the kids (3 and 7) just loved it. This is a must do experience for anyone visiting the area.

Our knowledgable guide explained the conservation effort in the area to protect local and migrating turtles and birds. Obsolute fun for kiddies n kiddes at heart. Missed the sunset n day tour as I booked last minute, would book early next time.

WELL WORTH IT

A fantastic afternoon with the family. The owner and guide is an absolute champion and you can tell he is passionate about his job, his town and nature. We spent the arvo chasing dolphins, learning about local bird life and the water dive is awesome! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

We had Jess as our tour guide. She was very informative and humorous throughout the tour. It is a peaceful trip with lots of natural beauty. Our first time on a LARC and it did not disappoint. Would definitely recommend this hour tour as it was really enjoyable.
