Autumn break

The views from different positions on the venue roof tops vs were absolutely spectacular, the walk isn’t as hard as I thought it would be. I am 68 and found it quite easy. Excellent guide along with comprehensive safety briefing. Well Worth doing.

Great experience, highly recommend

Our climb was fantastic. A very small group of 4 of us were expertly led across the roof by Mitch, our guide. He provided not only information about the Adelaide Oval, its history and many changes/upgrades over the years, but also Adelaide landmarks.

Exceeded expectations!

This exceeded all our expectations! Just keep in mind it takes closer to 3 hours than the 2 mention on the website. Felt very safe, our guide Lucas was very friendly and knowledgeable about the adelaide area and oval. We loved the views and were lucky with beautiful weather and sunset! Great value for money :)

An experience of a lifetime

The climb is easy access to the CBD and located at the main entrance. The safety and equipment was first class, and I felt safe at all times, the history of the oval and the views were eye popping, 2hrs of shear enjoyment, fantastic, highly recommended.

Twilight climb in February - Fabulous experience

The climb was amazing. It was informative regarding Adelaide Oval, The Drive Tennis Centre and Adelaide in general, even though I have lived in SA for 60 years. Our guide Mitch was incredible. The weather was perfect for a twilight climb. Loved everything about this experience and worth every dollar. Highly recommend to locals and tourists to Adelaide.

Amazing

The experience was magical and totally worth it. The team at the roof climb is very helpful in every possible way. Henry, our tour attendant, showed us the city all around and clicked beautiful pictures.

Fabulous trip for cricket lovers

There are lots of roof climbs around these days, but this was special. Small group of 9, very informative guide Riley who gave us loads of interesting facts about the stadium, and about the development of Adelaide as a city. As a bonus, there was a local league final being played, so we got to watch that from the top Of the stand, 50m up. Very good tour - fun and informative

Enjoying the high view

As a cricket tragic, I had watched with envy the people on tv at the Adelaide Oval climbing the roof. Therefore, when we had a holiday to Adelaide, doing the roof climb was high on my list of priorities. I was not disappointed. The climb was wonderful. There are a lot of steps, so you need to be reasonably fit, but my husband is 78 and he managed it. We also had a lady on our tour who told us she was 75 and she was fine. We also had three kids in the group and they had a ball. The lean out is awesome fun. I will be reccomending that all my friends do this, it is just exceptional.

A stunning view of Adelaide!

The climb itself was excellent with a very knowledgeable guide. He instilled us with enough confidence to complete the dreaded lean back! We were given a mixed message on check-in time and arrived an hour early though to the wrong entry door ☹️

Our tour guide Braden was awesome. He had plenty of interesting information about the Oval to share. We really enjoyed the chance to lean back and get a once in a lifetime photo. Well worth a visit when in Adelaide.

Great twigjligh trip, easy climb and very safe. Highlight is the viewing platform and managed to lean back with no hands.

Awesome Experience

Awesome experience, not to be missed when visiting Adelaide. I'm not a huge fan of heights by any means, but I felt safe every step of the way. The guides are very knowledgeable about all things Adelaide & Adelaide Oval. Harnesses are thoroughly checked before you do the climb.

Such a unique experience! Sitting above the goals was incredible! I’d love to do it during a game. Maybe next time!

Adelaide’s Gem!

Leaning back over the edge at the top of the climb was a test of faith and gave an what was an interesting climb, a shot of adrenaline.

Great value

We went on a night climb and arrived a bit early. The staff were very accommodating and assisted us with filling in the appropriate paperwork prior to choosing our celebratory drink for after we finished the climb. The preparation for the climb was pretty good, although we found our guide talked so fast that most of the guests seemed to be looking around quite perplexed as to what we should be doing, so the experience was a little stressful in this regard. The same goes for the actual climb. Although it was well orchestrated and very enjoyable, we really found the guide's commentary very hard to understand (again he spoke too fast and didn't enunciate). Similar experiences in other cities charge you extra for photos etc, but this group does not which makes the whole experience great value for money. We would recommend the climb to anyone, whether they be locals or visitors, as it gives you an amazing view of the city and an even better one of the oval itself. It would certainly be an interesting experience to sit on one of those chairs to watch the footy one night, but that will have to be another time.

A great experience at Adelaide Oval

An amazing experience from start to finish. Our guide was great, and we felt very safe. As seniors, we hoped we could keep up, but had no problems. Luckily it was a cool day, as it might have been a bit harder if it was hot. We thought this was a highlight of our trip to Adelaide. We would thoroughly recommend this climb to anyone. Perhaps avoid if you absolutely hate heights or get vertigo.

Amazing experience

A great adventure! From checkin to harnessing up the guys were great. The climb up and over the multiple rooftops was amazing, the view from up there terrific and The Southern Stand WOW!! Highly recommend

Did the roof climb as a work-get-together and had An amazing experience. Obviously the views were spectacular showing off the best of Adelaide city, but Frasier, our guide brought it all together with facts and info about this amazing city and its history. Would highly recommend this roof climb. Well done team. Great ambassadors for this incredible city.

Great views and fun.

Only in Adelaide for a few days and all 4 of us decided to give this a go. A truly memorable experience with a very knowledgeable, experienced and amusing guide. Well worth it even for the digs at the state of English cricket.

Good fun, good view

Loved this - did the morning climb at 10am. We were kitted out, felt safe, informed and had a good 2.5 hours. We were given details on history of the area, the Oval and cricket. It was a small group and it was fun. Got the hat, the pic/photo and certificate! If you don't like heights but want a bit of a thrill you may still want to do this - it's safe, you feel safe and its not too scary.

safe and exhilarating

Husband and I did the twilight roofclimb. The sights were amazing and we enjoyed the adrenalin rush, especially on the platform when completing the 'lean'. Highly recommend!! Was a wonderful experience and we learned a lot from the tour guide.

Great climb up the Adelaide Oval

We had a great time climbing up the roof of the Oval. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgable and she told us lots of facts about the ground and Adelaide in general. It was a bit scary when you got to the top and you could see through where you were walking right down to the ground !! Couldn’t bring myself to lean out backwards over the edge though !! Really enjoyable would thoroughly recommend it 😎

The whole experience. It was booked as a birthday present on out trip to Australia. A memorable day. Our guide, Fred, was good fun and very knowledgeable.

Overcome the Nerves and Do the River Bank Stand Lean Out

The Adelaide Roof Climb was an Awesome Activity to do with my two girlfriends on our holiday. The tour guides were brilliant and made sure we were very safe. The way they contacted the tour was very informative and enjoyable to listen too. Will definitely be telling people it's something to put on the bucket list.

Good experience

This was a really good thing to do while in Adelaide. You get a great view of the Oval and the surroundings while the guide provides some interesting information on the walk. It is suitable for any age as it is not too strenuous. Just wish the weather was better as the rain made it unpleasant at times. It was well organised and the staff do a great job of getting you ready for the climb.

We completed a twilight climb at Adelaide oval and really enjoyed the experience. Guides are well experienced. Highly recommend

Great Views!

What a fantastic experience! I'm not a huge fan of heights but thought I would give this a go anyway. The staff were great and very reassuring. The views from the top of the oval are worth it! The walk itself involved quite a few steps but was not overly strenuous. The pace of the walk was very manageable and we had a wide range of ages in our group. Highly recommend this, especially if you are sporting fan, it gives you a different perspective of the oval.

Fantastic Experience!

The views from the rooftop were amazing and it was a great experience. It was a little scary and took a bit of getting used to as you're not completely fenced in like you are on the Harbour Bridge Climb in Sydney. There is only a railing on one side of you. Took a bit of adjusting to. Still loved it though. The tour guide was great and very informative. For me, I would have liked to go a little slower, as I found it was hard trying to move at normal walking speed whilst trying to adjust to the height (however, I never voiced this on the tour so my own fault). Overall it was a great experience.

A simply “Must Do” experience

An absolute “Must Do” attraction in Adelaide. To have the option to see this beautiful city on a sunset climb, from such an iconic landmark was an experience not to forget. The tour guide was wonderful & his commentary was informative & full of information & history I never knew. Totally recommend

Twilight dream

Had an amazing time guide was great safety a top priority. A must do adventure spectacular views well worth the money for anyone thinking of having a go! Lean out was scary but safe!

Fantastic experience for the whole family . We did the twilight walk which was beautiful unfortunately cloud cover meant no sunset on the day .

We did a twilight climb which I highly recommend to do. Our guide was Jake, whom was friendly, really informative and interactive. Whether a tourist to our beautiful city or a native it is something worth doing.

We loved doing the climb as a family, supporting each other and encouraging each other through the different challenges. The twilight tour was fabulous with a beautiful sunset and the lights of Adelaide.

Best seats in the house!

We did the twilight climb expecting a beautiful sunset but instead it was cold, windy and wet however our experience was still amazing. Our guide was informative and looked after us. If we were feeling uncomfortable he reassured us. The view from the seats above the stadium was fantastic. The entire experience was worth it even if you are not a fan of heights. Highly recommend, a must do when visiting Adelaide.
