Super great day with a lot of Hilight, the first winery was really pleasant and also the Maggie farm beer was incredible place ! Maddy our guide was the nicest .

Our guide and driver, Manny, was a thorough professional and a gentleman. He had in-depth knowledge of the region and its wine industry. We visited different wineries and tasted some unique wines. The tour was relaxed and we enjoyed our day out. Highly recommended.

Full day tour to Barossa Valley was made a fun experience by Bums On Seat. Our guide cum driver, Manny, was a thorough professional and a gentleman. His knowledge about the region was exceptional. Wineries visited by us were offering specialised selections making the day rather productive. Will strongly consider Bums On Seat for our future travels in the region.

Very Enjoyable Day

Overall a great experience. Jason our Tour Operator was helpful, knowledgeable, funny and definitely contributed to an enjoyable experience. During the trip we learned about local history and the flora and fauna of the area. We visited 3 wineries, all being quite different. The 1st one, Rosenvale Vineyards was my favorite because the whole process of developing wines and its varieties was explained in great detail. Lunch at the 2nd winery was very nice and the 3rd one was housed in stunningly beautiful buildings. The group was very pleasant and would happily recommend this tour to others. Trish - May 2024

Great day out! Amazing hosts and driver/guide! Weather was perfect and all pick ups and drop offs were punctual and well communicated.

Great Barossa wine tasting tour.

Excellent day! Mandy was our tour guide and he was extremely knowledgeable. Very friendly and relaxed. We ended up having a very small tour group ( just four of us) so our day could be flexible too. Madly made the day a great experience. Well done. Highly recommend this company.

Fun Day

Maggie Beers was wonderful……. We all loved Grant Burge Winery. Mannie was fantastic, a gentleman and great company. Terrific day well done Bums on Seats🙏👌

Fabulous tour of the Barossa

What a great day we had! Tasted some excellent wines ... at 3 out 4 wineries. Made new friends including a new neighbour from Brisbane. Maddy was a fantastic guide, who provided lots of information about the Barossa as well as many other sights along the way . Highly recommended!

Tour of misinformation, wouldnt recommend it

Being collected at our accommodation and delivered back to it also was the highlight Lunch was very disappointing, wine stops were hit and miss, too many tastings at the first, not enough info given during the day

Beautiful day spent, the wineries were amazing and all had amazing stories!! Tasted some 15-20 wines! Our host Mani was very helpful n informative 😊

Barossa Full Day Wine Tour

A small group tour, total of 8 including my husband and I. A full day tour of Barossa and the borders of Adelaide Hills. Visited 4 cellar doors, all family run not the big corporate run businesses. Was lovely to meet 2 of the vineyard owners. We even squeezed in a trip to Maggie Beers Farm Shop! Our guide Wozza was exceptional, very knowledgeable and humorous!

Wonderful Tour

Great tour. Maddi, the driver-guide was wonderful. plenty of time at the stops (wine tasting) and lunch was also lovely. Fun day!

Lots of wine

We had a jam packed day that made the most of our limited time in Adelaide. Deep was a wonderful guide with excellent knowledge of the region. Almost too much wine was consumed 👀

Enjoyed the Maggie Beer farm--- being from Canada we did not know of her. Nice to see the outlying area around Adelaide-- always her of Barossa Valley !

Barossa wine tour

Had a great day. Our driver Deep was very informative. And we had a great group of people on the tour. Great wineries, beautiful lunch and a stop at the chocolate shop to end the day

A relaxing scenic drive and great wine.

The views and travelling through Adelaide Hills. Chateau Yaldara was amazing. We even went for the tour underground. So much work going into the building. Maggie Beer's farm house probably my favourite. A must see.

Great introduction to the Barossa Valley

We did a tour of the Barossa wine district. It was a good day out and our driver and guide Prab was knowledgeable and friendly. Good clean transport!

Must do Winery Adventure

Well chosen winery/lunch venues. Guide Deep is extremely knowledgeable and conscientious. He provided a valuable history of Adelaide and the surrounding area. Deep also had insightful recommendations for must do sightseeing in Adelaide. This is a comprehensive day. Multiple samples of elegant wines. Pace yourself during tastings. Ample time at all venues.

The driver/guide did only...

The driver/guide did only the driving and didn’t say much. Two tasting places had good presentations and the other two very poor. The first place, Kersbrook Hill, had one person serving two groups and she had to run back and forth between the two groups of visitors, no time to talk much.

A great day out

Sharing the day with a small group of overseas visitors, from Ireland and Tahiti. Tasting interesting wines and ciders, served by friendly hosts. Travelling through beautiful countryside. Tour guide driver looked after us very well .

Wonderful Barossa Valley Experience with Maddy and Bums on Seats!!!

Maddy was our tour guide and he is AMAZING!! So welcoming, friendly and very kind and helpful. The best way to see the beautiful Barossa Valley and it’s little towns and experience the delicious food and take in the views. Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop was my absolute fave (Huge Maggie fan here) haha. Thankyou to Maddy and Buns on Seats for a wonderful day!! ♥️

Great day out in the Barossa Valley

Fantastic day out with Deep as our guide! The day included tasting at four wineries (one included lunch), a stop at the Maggie Beer's Wine shop and one scenery stop to take pictures. Enjoyable day in a beautiful part of South Australia. If I were to recommend any changes, I'd cut one of the wineries out. As someone who routinely goes wine tasting (and works part time in the industry), I usually stick to 2-3 wineries a day. Also, bring water as it's not included in the tour.

Fantastic day out in Barossa

Fantastic day out in Barossa Valley wine tasting with Deep as our guide. It was my first time to South Australia and was looking forward to immersing myself into this famous wine region. Deep provided a good bit of knowledge and information while we drove. We ultimately tasted at four wineries; one included lunch and also had stops at Maggie Beer's Farm shop and one scenery stop for pictures. While the day was great, if I were to offer any suggestions, I'd shorten the tour to three wineries so that we could spend longer at each stop. As someone who goes wine tasting regularly, I usually limit myself to 2-3 wineries simply because if one tastes everything, you could loose your palate. But again, great day and would love to explore more wineries in the area.

I went with my daughter. Maddy (the tour rep), picked us up from our Airbnb. He was a great host. Very informative. We thought it would be 3 or 4 tastings on each stop, but it was more like 10. Very enjoyable day and we were dropped back off outside our accommodation. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful day trip to Barossa

Lovely day out. We visited 4 wineries and Maggie Bier Farm shop. Great views, commentary , guide and tastings. Wineries shipped purchases which was terrific

We visited four different wineries of different styles, and the included lunch met my expectations. Our driver/guide, Deep, was excellent.

Great Experience

Great Day out our tour guide (Wasiq) was friendly and knowledgeable never rushed us like many others do and left it to us to finish our wine tasting. Delicious lunch included and visited 4 lovely wineries. Fun Day out. Will use again

Deep provided a great insight into SA history etc.. Kept us updated along the way . I would recommend this company to anyone wanting to see the barossa valley etc

Countryside pleasure

Amazing experience

Absolutely loved it. I was soloing but met an awesome kiwi family and had a great trip with them. Also u learned so much about wines. The guide Maddy was very friendly and helpful.

Great option for a small group wine tasting in Barossa. Went to some bigger and smaller family owned wineries, we especially liked Chateau Dorrien! Also made a stop at Maggie Beer's farm shop and chocolate shop. :) Our guide/driver Deep was also great!

We had the loveliest guide/driver called Maddy. He was very informative and genuinely invested in making our day special. Thank you for the lovely experience and making us feel Like VIPs for the day.

Barossa at it's best

Great company and amazing driver - awesome day out with friends

The trip was absolutely amazing. We ran right on schedule and the driver Deep was highly friendly and outgoing and really made the trip a 5/5 for myself and my friends. The wineries were all accommodating and we particularly enjoyed Chateau Dorrien. Overall a great day and would re-book again if we were ever in Adelaide.

AWFUL, AVOID

Just dreadful! No commentary, just a stale smelling car with a driver totally uninterested in the itinerary. The supposed 'winery lunch' becomes probably the worst meal I've ever had in Australia, a cafe with nasty offerings and worse ingredients!! The usual restaurant apparently closed that day, so find another decent one. Emphasis was on cheap offerings at all times!! Apparently the business has been bought and is unlikely to last. Just AWFUL.

The Barossa in Style

Steer Clear

I would highly recommend booking another company for a decent tour of the Barossa valley. Paul was poor in communication/organisation, when I booked I noted where our large group (18px) was staying. In the lead up to the day I emailed and called numerous times to confirm the pick up time and location (even sending through a detailed plan of guest accommodations) and on the day prior to the tour, we were finally able to connect and were then 'blamed' for not communicating that we were not travelling from Adelaide. Paul was abrupt and rude from the outset and set a sour mood early on. We were taken to one decent winery, a place that sold port, and a 'winery' for an average lunch, from here were arranged for another tasting. It was a very disappointing day. Paul, I think you are burnt out and need a career change.

Relaxed and enjoyable boutique winery tour.

Sam was great. It was a relaxed and enjoyable tour with plenty of time at each stop and the boutique wineries are a must visit. A wonderful day!

Having water bottles...

Having water bottles available for guests would cost almost nothing and vastly improve the experience. Also, the first winery we visited was totally unprepared-we had to wait while they served walk-in coffee customers and I think this impacted our timeline for the day. Other than that we had a great time

The tour was suppose to...

The tour was suppose to include 4 wineries. We only did 3 due to some issues at the 4th winery. I think the communication between the winery and the tour should have been better and there should have been another winery added onto the itinerary, since the original winery was closed.

A very enjoyable day out

Our driver was incredibly knowledgeable about everything link to the trip - history of the towns, the geography and the tour. The only disappointing thing was the change to the original tour - we did not get to go to Maggie Beer. Maybe the tour change be swapped around so guests do get this opportunity. Our driver was very willing to meet the requests of his guests.

Great tour. Pick up and drop off from our hotel. Small group of 7 of us. We all got on very well during the day. Knowledgeable guide. Well worth it. I would recommend.
