Great day trip, would recommend

Great day trip, you see a lot and visit a couple of great wineries so get a nice taste of everything and see the beautiful scenery but it’s not too rushed. Nice size tour (10 on the day we went) and great driver, Baden.

Fabulous day out!

Absolutely fabulous trip - Craig was a fountain of information, brought Adelaide to life, infected us all with his love of the city and the mix of city tour, Hahndorf shopping/food time, and tastings in McLaren Vale was perfect! Highly recommended!

A full day of wonders!

A great day out

We had a very enjoyable day with Craig as our guide. We enjoyed learning about the history of Adelaide from someone who obviously loves living here. Craig made the day by being efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Adelaide

What a lovely day!

On time pick up was the start of a really great day! Craig brought Adelaide alive with his passion for his home town. He showed us all the city highlights with interesting and informative details. The various vineyard and cellar door visits with wine tastings very enjoyable too. I also enjoyed my free time in Hahndorf with a great German beer and lunch. The round off of the day was a visit to the Glenelg area. All in all a really enjoyable day out. Thank you Craig!

Perfect from startvto finish

This was an amazing tour, the guide Russell was so informative, easy to listen to and kept us entertained. That was enough time at each stop to explore the area and the wine tasting experiences equally as good. I would thoroughly recommend this tour.

A day well spent

Great day seeing the city and a bit of the country. Organization and narration were excellent, under Craig’s care. The day is well spent seeing city sights, country roads, a charming town, vineyards and wineries, and an evening seaside sunset. Come one, come all.

Adelaide and beyond.

Craig was a fantastic guide. He is passionate about Adelaide. The tour was informative and well-paced. The sights of Adelaide, the Hills, Hahndorf and finally Glenelg were beautiful, especially with the autumn colours. The two wine tastings were in beautiful vineyards and very well hosted. Overall a great day out.

We had the most experient and well informed tour guide ever!!! Very well balanced tour so that we are well informed of Adelaide and wine regions.

Absolutely need to do this. Craig was the best driver/ guide. Took up past interesting points of interest, and free things to do around Adelaide. Hahndorf was worth the visit again. The two wineries were professional and not overpriced. Great cheese platter. Views of Adelaide, wine fields and stop at Glenelg were a good end of the day.

Fantastic day out with plenty to enjoy

This was an excellent day trip with lots to see and enjoy in the company of a first class guide. We went to places to see the city from different perspectives, had a good stop at Hahndorf, and two different wine tasting opportunities each with too many glasses! Overall it was a great day giving us a lovely perspective on the city and hills surrounding it.

Overall an enjoyable trip

Our guide was Bruce and he was a friendly person. He gave us a great overview of the regions and took us to all interesting locations. Also dropped us back at our hotels .

Great day out with a variety of everything!

Fantastic day out with a mix of sightseeing and wine tasting in the McLaren Vale wine region. Such a great combo and relaxing day all around. Russell, our guide was great- very personable, friendly and clearly was very knowledgeagble about the region. Loved having time to wander, shop and eat in Hahndorf, an adorable little town. Both wineries in McLaren Vale were fantastic. Loved the first one (Haselgrove) so much I shipped a case of wine home. If you're looking for a tour that includes a little bit of everything, this is it.

Magic day out Adelaide, Hahndorf and wine

Good size trip, Bruce the driver was excellent!! Plenty of time to experience Hahndorf, wine tasting was chilled and relaxed. Excellent value for money and a really enjoyable day out

Tour guide is knowledgeable and friendly. Pickup locations in hotels are convenient with less waiting time. Tour covers many places in Adelaide and it’s surrounding areas, it’s good value for money.

Fantastic day

Our driver/tour guide, Craig, made the tour such fun and totally enjoyable. His knowledge of Adelaide and surrounds was immense and so interesting. My husband had the Pork knuckle lunch at the German Arms in Hahndorf, recommended by Craig, and totally smashed it. Great meal. Great wines at the wineries and overall a full and wonderful day . Such a beautiful and memorable day!

We met a lovely family and enjoyed the wonderful day together! Bruce was amazing and took the time to help us spot wildlife. Bruce is so very knowledgeable and drove very safely. His recommendations were spot on. We thoroughly enjoyed the charming town of Hahndorf and wine tasting in the McLaren Valley. The wineries were intimate and family-run. The scenic route to Glenelg spelled backwards reads the same thank you Bruce, was so pretty. Thank you so much again Bruce!

We had such an amazing experience, captained by Craig! Craig was super knowledgeable and kept everyone entertained throughout the journey with plenty of unique facts about Adelaide and its surrounding areas. We would highly recommend to anyone visiting Adelaide and/or SA for the first time, or even for an Adelaide native like myself! I learnt so many things I never knew. Brilliant tour of Adelaide and surrounds

The Adelaide highlights tour was wonderful! It was my first time visiting Adelaide and Craig did an excellent job teaching us about the history of the city. We had two hours to explore Hahndorf, did two wine tastings and finished up with a short tour of some beaches and a quick stop at Glenelg. The trip went for a full nine hours and represented great value for money. I only wished I had booked it for the first day I got there rather than the last so I could utilise all of the recommendations Craig gave us for areas to visit and restaurants to try!

Excellent choice - highly recommend!

Craig was a charming and thoughtful guide. He picked us up on time and drove smoothly throughout the trip. We learned so much about the city's history and Craig didn't hesitate to recommend places to check out after (who knew Adelaide's laneways were such an exciting destination!). The two vineyards were both great choices and we put comfortable orders through in both, you won't be disappointed. The locations were gorgeous and ending the day at Glenelg was superb. Highly recommend booking in, you won't regret it!

Great day out in Adelaide

The tour was exactly what we wanted and Bruce, our guide, was excellent! He provided enough information without being overloaded and was friendly and helpful. If you want a great day out with a look at Adelaide and the Adelaide Hills then this is the tour to do. We had plenty of time for a nice lunch in Hahndorf and enjoyed the wine tasting at both Wineries we visited. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Great way to see Adelaide!

I was so pleasantly surprised by this tour. It was overflowing with local knowledge and information. My partner and I had such a great time and really saw so many sides to Adelaide that we didn't know existed! Would definitely recommend.

The perfect way to spend your day in Adelaide.

A must do for anyone coming to South Australia! The first half of the day was spent around the city and surrounding areas. Craig was so informative and made the tour both fun and educational, you could see how much he loved Adelaide! We visited the charming town of Hahndorf and spent a couple of hours there at our leisure. The tour gave the perfect amount of time to stroll around at our own pace and enjoy lunch. Then in the afternoon we visited two lovely vineyards in stunning locations! All the wines were amazing and gave us such a unique insight to the wine of McLaren Vale. Christine was also very helpful with our booking and making sure we booked into what tour was best for us. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back again!!!

Not to be missed.

From start to finish this was an excellent trip. Chris pointed out lots of sights around Adelaide with added historic info. We enjoyed lofty summit, the cube and the 2 wine tastings were fab.

Informative and friendly

Adelaide highlights were interesting. Seeing acres and acres of winery plants was amazing. The tour guide was also very good and explained the history of Adelaide and how these winery started.

A full day, definitely the highlights!

Craig runs a great small group tour. We got to see the highlights of Adelaide city, then a short drive up to Mt Lofty for a view of the city from the highest point of the Adelaide hills. Plenty of time at Hahndorf German village for shopping and lunch. Such a quaint little town! Then off to a couple of wineries for a guided tasting of their offerings. We finished up in Glenelg and left the tour to explore this beachside area and have a delicious dinner at one of the many local restaurants. The tram back to the city was easy to catch. A great day out!

Great mix of Adelaide highlights and Wine Tastings, value for money with an experienced guide.

This tour was great value, interesting, offering a great mix of sightseeing and wine tasting. Our tour guide Craig was very informative and knowledgeable, Craig adapted the tour to suit the weather. Both wine tastings were different but enjoyable. A great day out exploring Adelaide and surrounds. Dinner in beachside Glenelg and the option to tram ride back to the city topped the day off.

Great sightseeing really set us up for a great stay in adelaide we got to see so much more than we would have if we hadn't done this tour. Also great tips about where to eat and visit

Great day, stressful drop off

Mt lofty was lovely Hahndorf was quaint and very nice Drop off was stressful- prior to booking Viator promised 5pm drop off for me to catch my 7pm flight, see adelaide the local provider insists Viator always over promises leaving them to cater to Uber from Glenelg to airport with no time to make it back to town to pick my luggage, my colleague having to bring it with her. But it all worked out this time.

James went above and beyond on this tour. We were taken to every where we expected to go and so much more. If you have you have a day to do it, do this tour.

Seeing Adelaide.

Bruce gave us a great commentary while travelling to many interesting places. Saw sights of Adelaide and then stopped at Mt Lofty. We had 2 hours to explore Hahndorf which was a great place - lovely old buildings and good place for lunch. We then went to 2 vineyards in McLaren Vale and saw the Cube. Lovely countryside as we travelled down to Glenelg with a lovely sunset. We were dropped off at our hotel which was good as dark by that time. A great day.

Great tour! Well worth doing!

We had a great day! Craig is passionate about all things SA. He was very informative. The tour around Adelaide was interesting. Hahndorf was a little disappointing as a lot of places were closed the day we went. McLaren Vale was picturesque and the wineries were awesome!!! All in all highly recommend this tour especially with Craig as your guide.
