A great experience!

I really can highly recommand a tour with the BigBus Company in the UAE! It was a great expirience and exactly what I needed and was looking for as a Solo traveller! I bought a ticket for 5 days in Dubai (Explorer ticket) wich included several tickets like for the Aquarium at the Atlantis Hotel or a sunset trip to go to the desert. I also did a trip to Abu Dhabi including the entrance fee to see the Grand Mosque (awesome!) and further a stay of 4 hours including a city Hop on/off tour with a duration of almost 2 hours. The whole staff situated on every stop was incredebly helpful, kind, nice, patient (I would like to mention Justice as an example...) and also the bus drivers were values. So long story short - a great way to discover the city/region over the distances! Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

Although it seemed somewhat pricy (€140 per person for 1 day Dubai plus 1 day Abu-Dhabi) it really is worth every penny. We visited both cities for the first time, this was the best way to view as much as possible.

Big City Pass

This is the best service I have ever seen for enjoying a tour across the City. I had opted for the top most package and found it value for money and it included almost the whole of Dubai in it. Abu Dhabi city tour

The open bus tour is ok only during Mid November to March. It is not so pleasant experience due to soaring temperatures & humidity.

BIG fraud .... dont use !!!!

I have just been fooled BIG Time by this company. I was convinced by their seller to buy the 7 day pass at 599 Dirham because the had a free shuttle service to and from Abu Dhabi. Reality is that we were dropped off at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. At the arrival, after 2 hours of bus ride with no information at all, we were informed the this stop was only a drop of not a hop on stop. And that the return bus was departing from Marina Mall. How to get there was our problem. After discussing lengthy with the Big Bus representative she refused to solve the problem. I could either pay 2 x 210 Dirham for a 1 day Big Bus Abu Dhabi ticket (already holding a valid ticket for Dubai) or take a taxi to The Marina Mall some 30 km away. This is a major fraud and the most unprofessional behavior in any tourist company I have experienced lately

Efficient way at to see the city

Would recommend for a great oversight of Dubai. Staff is very helpful and extremely friendly! Liked the live commentary on the red line. Charrie was great as a guide. Would have preferred the live tour on the green and blue lines as well. On this specific option, Abu Dhabi was included and the shuttle that runs Monday to Thursday (at no charge) between Dubai and Abu Dhabi made it definitely worthwhile. The Abu Dhabi tour is better than that of the Dubai Big Bus tour, in my opinion but I would definitely recommend that you do both.

Hop To It!

We bought Deluxe tickets for 5 days in Dubai. This is the most convenient and easiest way to see dubai and get an idea of the things that you want to return to see more in depth. Unfortunately, we wasted much of the ticket because we only used the Big Bus for two days and made arrangements for private tours and other direct venues. We still like the Big Bus however, because the lines travel all over the city and we got some really great pictures!

Catherine told us to be at pickup point at 8am..however bus didnt leave til 9. She also sold us an upgrade to an aquarium that we didnt use or ask for..shes a liar

Great experience

After negotiating a bit at the counter I bought a Deluxe ticket for 5 days in Dubai and upgraded it to go to Abu Dhabi for a day. I must say it really helped me visit both cities in the best possible way. On top of being able to go around the city with the bus, I enjoyed some of the offered activities. I would recommend the walking tour in Dubai. The guide was simply amazing! She showed us around, was very friendly and took the time to answer all our questions. The Night Tour was also a very nice experience and a great way to see the city with a different perspective. The upgrade to visit Abu Dhabi was a great opportunity to not spend too much money while traveling on my own. The upgrade includes the transport from Dubai to Abu Dhabi, a day pass with the Big Bus Tour in Abu Dhabi and the return to Dubai. I vividly recommend the Big Bus tour to anyone willing to maximize his journey in the UAE.

Most convenient

The most convenient and easiest way to see dubai and abu dhabi is Travelling through the big bus. The tour guide is very friendly and gives u great knowledge about each and every place.

Great for the first day jet lagged

I had been living in Abu Dhabi for almost 2 years. Had family fly in for a visit. Knowing they would be jet lagged, as I always am coming from the US, I thought we'd spend their first day taking the Big Bus, which I never did when I arrived. It was a good plan. At your own pace, hop on hop off. Gave them a tour of the city that I personally was not up to in my personal vehicle. Ever try to park at the Grand Mosque? Can't do it. It even took me to a couple of places I had never visited. Well worth it for someone just arriving to set their own pace, visit the sites and stay as long as they wish. Audio earpiece was good. The Abu Dhabi Big Bus, unlike the Dubai version, has an app that you can use to guide you.

Dubai bus tour

The tour was excellent.. the staff was accomodating and well trained. I will recommend big bus tour to my friends. One more thing, they have free cold water in every bus... Thanks to Ronald the filipino tour guide who always smile for the tourist, we met him in The Palm dubai last Oct.13,2018. Keep up the good work..

The Big Bus tours truly enable quick absorption of big areas, so that you can pinpoint what you really like. Dubai is very diverse, and it's really worth seeing that diversity. It's a great service...reliable...and reasonably priced...

The adventure is exciting. It offers history, the culture of the people and how dubai prosper into a business hub of the middle east. The scenery not only showcase the newest designs of buildings but also the historic building being preserved. The museum also tells a lot of history of dubai. The guides were also accomodating and well versed in communicating while on tours. In summary it was indeed a memorable experience. All praises...

Be Careful of the Website Description!

Note that there are two parts of the website on this activity that are a problem....1) The shuttle that takes you to Abu Dhabi only travels on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday! Website incorrectly states that shuttle only does not travel on Friday....WRONG....2) The map provided of the 3 routes the Dubai buses take is incorrect. The current hardcopy map and actual practice put the Recommended TOUR STARTS HERE indicator at Red stop #1/Green stop #12 - Dubai Mall. Also, only Red route has a human guide/narrator (using English and a microphone) so Channel for earphones for English must be Channel 13.. The Green & Blue routes have no narration/guide so all must use proper language channel (including English on Channel 1). We booked a Friday/Saturday 2 day, planning to do Abu Dhabi on Saturday (using the website details). However, upon arriving to check onto bus, the person who looked at our vouchers told us we would not be able to do Abu Dhabi as shuttle only travels on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday (very sharp and nice of her to point this out and instructing us to rebook with them, leaving our Viator booking intact and to contact Viator for a full refund on the original incorrect booking to avoid complications). We did so and had a great time on the 3 Big Bus routes. Also highly recommend you take the Night Tour (if available on your booking) as about 1/2 of the area covered is not covered with the daytime 3 routes. Also, for the Dubai Mall Water Fountain Show, try to get on the ground floor balcony overlooking the fountain pond as this is the best place to view/photo/video the show. We did not but had a semi-view on lower ground level at the 8pm show.....very nice show! Finally, if you plan on doing the Marina Boat Cruise (if on your booking) note that the boat leaves on the hour and arrives back in approx. 1 hour or slightly less. This means that due to the walk back to the Big Bus pickup stop, you miss the time to catch the bus so must wait another 1/2 hour for the next bus. So maybe plan on visiting more like the Marina Mall or have lunch or ?. Also be aware of the heat from March to end Sept/early Oct. Buses all are air-con lower level but only some have air-con on 1st 1/3 of top level. They do supply free bottled water though not always cold due to passenger loads. Long walks during this hot period are risky due to temperatures of up to and over 40 degrees C. Finally, when the wind comes up, visibility is bad and so no Burj Kalifa view.

Hop-on Hop-off Experience

We took the Deluxe tour and it’s been great so far. Today is day 1 with Tim who has been super super friendly and efficient. The fun continues! I would highly recommend you get into the Big Bus Tour if you want an organized and yet cost effective experience of Dubai.

Great experience

Twas fun to see Dubai city with your crew on BIG BUS TOURS. Your tour guides did a good job, had some information to the ones i had before. Cecilia from the Philippines alongside her driver on the Red bus deserves some accolades, great smile from her and very jovial, this helps to calm some nerves from the extreme sun rays. NEXT TIME I VISIT, I HOPE TO HAVE WIFI ON BOARD.

Amazing!

Affordable and very enjoyable. Started with the red line and was very easy to move around the city. Driver, Prakash, were very careful when driving during our journeys. Kirby was a very approachable and very informative towards tourists.

2 day pass

Great bus tour company a lot better than the other bus tour companies that you will see around Dubai. At most stops there is a big bus stall which will help you out with any questions you have. Every bus offered free water and had A/C which helped a lot with the weather. If anyone is going dubai for only a couple of days, I would recommend big bus tours as it’s an easy way to get around and see what Dubai has to offer! Also, with the pass you get, you also get the night tour and various other trips to experience!

Dubai to Abu Dhabi

We had a great day to Abu Dhabi visiting the Grand Sheikh Zayed Mosque. We booked our tickets via Big Bus Tours. We had a great driver Fazil who got us there and back promptly. The day went smoothly also visiting Yas Island and Marina Mall. Great value for money and possibly one of the best ways of getting around the city.

Sunset Tour With Ali

Yesterday I went to Abu Dhabi with Ali I really enjoy the big bus ride watching all the city. Ali bring us external battery charger and external WiFi. I like the big bus ride the bring us water and excellent service. I recommend to you all when coming to Dubai or Abu Dhabi.

Abu dhabi big bus

Great. All the staff are friendly and know their stuff. Especially Jessica, Murugan and Abdul. Tour to Al Ain was great. Driver knew his stuff and drove well. Would recommend the 3 day ticket as an easy way to see Abu Dhabi at your leisure.

Definitely worth the money while touring Dubai

Love these guys! Friendly, funny, engaging. Very much appreciated the free water, and the somewhat limited A/C was still amazing! Also, Fazil treated us very well on the Abu Dhabi trip. =)

Big City Pass

We booked the big bus tour which included a night tour. Raju was the driver for the night tour, and he was very pleasant, he took us through many attractions, and explaining everything as he went along, he was very polite and welcoming. Victoria was the agent working at the Mall of the Emirates, and she was very patient when we asked her many questions about the tour.

Amazing service and amazing staff

I bought the 7 day big city bus pass and honestly it was the best thing i could have done for exploring dubai to the limits. I have only spent one day here and the experience especially of green planet was beyond comparison. Today i'll go on the flamingo tpur with the friendliest member of the staff Ali (he is an awesome person and i hope everyone gets at least one ride with him) and i am already sure it will be just as amazing if not more as yesterday.

Great way to see Dubai!

Had a great day with Prakash and the rest of the friendly and helpful crew on my one day stopover in Dubai. I went on all three routes and got a view of all the major sights - and at least a taste of what this city has to offer. Very recommendable daytour!

Great experience

Big bus dubai hop on hop off tour had a great experience for us. We really enjoyed with them as it includes almost every attraction and the staff was very friendly and nice. We had sharjah tour with Mr. Raju and had a great time with him.

It was amazing experience with Bid bus tours.

It was convenient for so many attractions. Otherwise it was not feasible to see so many attractions at one time because it costs a lot but big bus tours has made it easy for us. Today we are going with Ali to Blue line Marina who is quite helpful pleasant and friendly.

Confused company

We bought a 5 days ticket at Sheraton Hotel but when we entered the bus we got only a 3 days ticket for our voucher. The lovely staff phoned with the company and gave us the 5 days as it was written in the prospect we had - reason of this chaos was a change of prospects (and the days offered) but the Sheraton asked the company for 4 weeks to get the new prospects and never was informed. Still today there are no actual prospects If you buy the big ticket for Abu Dhabi (!!!!) they offer a night bus tour BUT they use pictures of Dubai while the tour is in Abu Dhabi. That’s really strange Additionally in the big ticket they offer a Motor Yacht Tour starting from Yas Marina but it’s impossible to reach that in time by using the bus (coming from Busstop 10). So you need a taxi The tour is once a week on Friday 11am The bus schedule times are not fitting good to the other second line to switch between green and red line without waiting too long. In general times can be different as printed as we experienced at Yas Marina today. Buses are clean, drivers very friendly, staff also very friendly. Unfortunately it’s the only Hop on Hop off Bus company here. Maybe that’s the reason they are so bad.

A Great way to see Abu Dhabi

If you want to see as much of Abu Dhabi in a short period of time the Hop on Hop off bus is the way to go. You get to see all the main sights. The down side the bus only goes in one direction and takes over 2hrs to do one circuit. Word of warning is Friday is the day of rest so is you book a ticket for that day the main attractions are closed.
