The tour is a great way to get to know Abu Dhabi. The staff are very professional, friendly and helpful and the bus timetable is extremely reliable. A very big thank you to Shalee, Dianne, Meeran, Rasheed and everyone else.

Over priced city tour

The staff are good and informative but the big bus tour is over priced for the UK visitor if you asking me .

Very Good Experience

This is my second time with Big Tour Bus. The first time was in London. The tour guide is very clear. Raju is very helpful for helping me with mosque access pass.

Interessant

The bus tour itself is quite okay, you see a lot of sights in a short time. Mr. Raju is very friendly and even speaks a little German. Important to note: that if you take the green tour you have to dress accordingly, otherwise you will not be allowed to enter the mosque (men wear long trousers and women have their shoulders covered, a headscarf, covering up to the knees).

Best and convenient way to see Abu Dhabi

We booked a Big Bus Discovery ticket, online, for the Abu Dhabi sightseeing tour. But before booking I decided to stroll up to the stop near Abu Dhabi Mall and ask if I could look at the bus access, as we have a mobility scooter and my good lady has an issue in climbing stairs. I met a very friendly guy who answered all my queries. The following day, we arrived at the stop to board the bus, and the same guy helped us. I found out his name was Raju, and we could not thank him enough for all his help. He is a credit to the Big Bus Company in Abu Dhabi. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour.

The big bus was a very good and faster way to see the city! It takes you to all tourist places, and gives good explanation of the places you visit, you can visit the grand mosque! Tour guide Raju was very informative and excellent customer service!!

Excellent service

The service was superb! Fare/fee was affordable. Shout out to Raju and his Filipina (not sure of her name) colleague who assisted me and went through with the process. They even offered to help with charging with my phone for I ran out of battery. The driver and the Filipina (who were at the bus from the mosque even offered black coffee to me. Thank you for the excellent service!!

MUST join tour for quick travelers

All the Abu Dhabi spectacles are packed in 2hours! Thanks to tremendously kind offer and support from RAJU and DIANNE, I could also enjoy visiting the grand mosque late afternoon by the bus! I will join 2dats tour next time with them.

Must do: two day Explore ticket Abu Dhabi

Saw many sights with two day Explore ticket from Big Bus. It also includes a ticket to the Presidential Palace (on the red line) and a ride to the Grand Mosque (green line). Don't forget to register for a free Grand Mosque ticket beforehand on the mosque website and to wear/bring appropriate clothes. Amjad from Big Bus was especially helpful in checking tickets, telling passengers to register for mosque tickets and point out clothing rules. Amazing trip. Well worth a visit grand mosque and presidential pałace. We were not decided at purchasing tickets booking only one day tour. At bus stop we adres green linę to te mosque and given one extra day of trip by this purchase. The next day we were recommended to see the presidential palace as well and purchasd entry to the palace at the bus stop and this way given few extra days of using the bus as like we would buy on day one Explore option.which gives you t day trip entry to great mosque and presidential palace and you can use in 5 days. Busses run on time. Bus drivers helpful and nice. In particular Raji ,one od the bus driver which helped us in mosque with getting free tickets and connections to free wifi there. Can't name rest of the Staff but all were really nice and helpful. Highly recommend this company an their tour.

Raju was the star of our trip.

Besides a dated bus that needs renovation and lack of air conditioning the trip was worth taking. What it made the entire experience memorable was our driver Raju! He kindly helped us (my parents have mobility difficulties) guiding at the grand mosque but also booked our tickets online and helped my mom to find a suitable wear for the mosque. A true valuable asset to the Big Bus. 🙏🏼👌🏼

Misleading, disorganized, and low value for money

Not impressed with this tour at all. It was ridiculously expensive compared to hop-on/hop-off tours in other cities. I was initially misled by their website and the brochure I picked up at my hotel that says that there is a green route that goes to Yas Island. This was not the case - the green line took us to the mosque and that's it. When I asked the staff about the whole other route that was on my brochure, they told me that they don't go there anymore. Buses stop running quite early, the mosque tour is a mess, most stops are not well marked and their customer service is lacking. The drivers were good but that's about it.

A great way to see Abu Dhabi.

I bought the tickets for this tour on MSC Opera. For me the hop on hop off bus is a great way to see a city and it gives me an idea if I want to see more. This tour of Abu Dhabi showed me everything that I wanted to see and the commentary was so useful. I particularly liked the music that played in between the spoken parts. The front part of the upper deck is air conditioned and that is good to know. We were picked up in the port and that meant that we didn't have to try to get to a pick up point. Staff were so helpful.

Low quality service; awfully expensive prices

The bad service of Big Bus Tours in Abu Dhabi is the perfect example of the importance of strong competence between different providers in order to improve the quality of the service. In Dubai, the competence with the buses of City Sightseeing obliged the buses of Big Bus Tours to improve the quality of the service, with competitive prices, good infraestructure and continuous support of the personnel. On the contrary, luckly to Big Bus Tours but unfortunately for all of us (customers), the buses of City Sightseeing havn't arrived to Abu Dhabi. Therefore, Big Bus supposes that can ignore customers needs and decrease the quality of service without any consequences. The prices (even for 24h or 48h) are unbelievebly expensive (more expensive than Dubai, which has no justification since the city has less atractions), there is almost no support of the personnel (you must go to the main stop at Abu Dhabi mall to find anyone to help you) and many stops aren't even properly identified. As a result, you must ask for help of the police or locals to find out the stops... I definitively do not recommend Big Bus at Abu Dhabi (only at Dubai), it is better to find out other tours avaliable at Viator, Getyourguide or other providers.

The staff is amazing. Raju helped us with getting tickets for the mosque, and also the girl at the bus station at Abu Dhabi mall was really helpful and nice. I think this is the best and easiest way to see the city.

A very worth it tour from Big Bus Tour Abu Dhabi

As a solo traveller, i highly recommend Big Bus Tour Abu Dhabi. Very worth it to avail the tour. It spare me from the hussle of doing it yourself by riding the bus, shuttle, or taxi, since this is already a well proven system of a day tour. I stayed in Sharjah. Bought the ticket in Big Bus Toir Dubai. The staff in Abu Dhabi are all well very nice in taking care of the tourist. Thanks to Abby, Ana, Monsy, Shalee and Raju on assisting my need/inquiries.

We appreciated the headset information

The Big bus is a simple and easy way to get around the city of Abu Dhabi. No need to contend with traffic or tracking down a taxi cab. The air conditioning was working nicely although you can sit in the open air on the top at the back of the bus. We met Momsy on our first day. She was helpful and very good at her job. She kept the flow of passengers running smoothly. She also calls ahead to the buses to see when and where there located and arriving. On our second day she remembered us with a big smile.

Abu Dhabi

Raju was so very helpful. on day 1 we met Raju at our first stop. We mentioned we wanted to go the Mosque tomorrow he helped us register on the website and told us how to prepare with our clothing to enter. The next day Raju was our bus driver to the Mosque and after our arrival he showed us to the entrance and as we were appropriately dressed we were able to go straight through. After our tour Raju met us and took us back to the bus and drove us back. 5 stars + for Raju service and his ability to speak very good English and his friendliness was appreciated.
