Institutional Quarantine
  • Passengers with symptoms are bound to stay under institutional quarantine till the results are declared.

Home Quarantine
  • 7 days (mandatory for every traveler till test results are available)
  • Passengers coming from Mainland and destined to Tribal areas have to go through RTCPR test
  • Asymptomatic travelers will be tested by Antigen Test

Tourist Guidelines
  • Pre-booking of hotel is mandatory for travelers. Proof of hotel pre-booking will be checked on arrival.
  • Passengers have to go through screening on arrival and if symptomatic will have to go through COVID test at decided testing centers.
  • Passenger must book only those hotels which are registered with the tourism department.
  • Authorities will check the validity of entire duration of stay.
  • In case, traveler doesn’t have negative COVID reports, they will have to undergo testing and self isolate at the place of accommodation till results come.
  • If tested positive, the place of accommodation will act as per the guidelines from the authorities. The cost of testing and accommodation till isolated will be paid by the traveler themselves.
  • In case, tourist decides to change his original place of stay, he can only re-book a hotel which is permitted by the tourism department.
  • Tourist needs to produce the proof of re-booking in front of the Rapid Response Leader of the accommodation unit before shifting to the new place.
  • Traveler must provide a self declaration form for tracing him throughout the stay in Goa.

Institutional Quarantine

  • Passengers coming from Maharashtra will be kept in institutional Quarantine followed by 14 days home quarantine.
  • Travelers coming from Maharashtra for business purpose having a confirmed return ticket within 7 days from arrival are exempted from 7 days of institutional quarantine provided they have COVID negative certificate issued not more than 2 days before the date of arrival. If not, the passengers will be kept in 2 days of institutional quarantine where they will be tested (charges to be paid by passenger). Upon negative result the passengers will be allowed to proceed with their journey.
  • Institutional quarantine will be provided at paid institutional quarantine centers for international travelers.   • Symptomatic passengers must inform the authorities and call on Apthamitra Helpline number: 14410.

  • Business traveler’s native to Karnataka & returning within 4 days, there will be no testing & no quarantine. Such passengers should report to Apthamitra Helpline (14410) regarding the status of their health during the next 14 days.

  • Arrival passenger need to carry e-pass after registering their details. In state's COVID Jagratha portal.
    • CCJ - No counters, e pass mandate from origin.
    • TRV - if passenger doesn’t have an e pass, he’she have to be in intuitional quarantine till they get the pass. Passenger will not be sent back.
    • COK - Need to fill from at origin. In case they lost it, passenger can fill a manual form on arrival. However, large number will not be entertained by the health officer.
