Tourist Visa

  • Applicant’s passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of intended travel plan.
  • Two completely filled-in visa forms duly signed by the Applicant (photocopy is allowed).
  • Two latest passport size photographs (2 x 2 inches). The photographs should be of good quality with a clear image.
  • Application should be attached with a Covering Letter mentioning the purpose of visit in detail.
  • Confirmed onward / return air ticket.
  • Original invitation letter with Company Stamp, only if it is addressed by a source excluding the Applicant. The same can also be from a Friend or Relative in Trinidad and Tobago. This invitation letter must mention the purpose of the visit, the duration of travel, the source of funding and the expenses for travel to the country.
  • On the other hand, an original letter from the Travel Agency with detailed package itinerary.
  • A Letter from the present Employer stating the Applicant's designation, the duration of Employment, salary, and a confirmation of rejoining the Company after the visit to Trinidad and Tobago. Letter must be in original, with the stamp of the Company should be attached with the application form.
  • Evidence of enough funds for maintenance of the complete duration of stay.
  • Applicant’s bank statements for past 6 months (in original).
  • A certified copy of latest Income Tax Return.
  • The Visa for the next destination of travel (if any).
  • If traveling with a Minor, a notarized authorization letter from the Child's parents / legal guardians is required. Visa remains valid for 90 days from the date of issue and the duration of stay is determined by the Immigration Authorities on arrival.
  • The Processing time can take up to 3 working days.
  • If the Applicant wants to apply through a third party, the authorization form provided should be filled in completely.
  • If required, the Visa Officer can request for further information and personal interview.
  • The Visa Fee should be paid in the form of Bank Draft, drawn in favor of "High Commission of Trinidad and Tobago", payable in New Delhi.

Family Visit Visa

  • If the applicant(s) is traveling on a non-official / private visit and are being sponsored by a national resident of Trinidad & Tobago, then the sponsor need to apply on behalf of the visitors to the Immigration authorities in Port of Spain for visa. Once the approval is received, the Embassy in New Delhi can endorse the passport with the visa stamp.
  • For Applicant traveling for a Non-Official/ private visit and sponsored by a National Resident of Trinidad & Tobago, should get the Sponsor to apply on his / her behalf to the Immigration Authorities in the Port of Spain. After getting the approval, the Embassy in New Delhi can endorse the passport with the visa stamp. The other requirements are the same as for a Tourist visa.

Business Visa

  • Applicant’s passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of intended travel plan.
  • Two completely filled-in visa forms duly signed by the Applicant (photocopy is allowed).
  • Two latest passport size photographs (2 x 2 inches). The photographs should be of good quality with a clear image.
  • Application should be attached with a Covering Letter mentioning the purpose of visit in detail.
  • Confirmed onward / return air ticket.
  • The visa forms should be enclosed with an Introductory Letter from the Company / Firm mentioning the purpose of applicant’s visit.
  • A Letter from the present Employer stating the Applicant's designation, the duration of Employment, salary, and a confirmation of rejoining the Company after the visit to Trinidad and Tobago. Letter must be in original, with the stamp of the Company should be attached with the application form.
  • Applicant's Business Card should be enclosed (if any).
  • Application form should be enclosed with proof of enough funds for maintenance for the entire duration of stay / tour.
  • Bank statements for the past 6 months (in original) of the applicant.
  • A certified copy of recent Income Tax Return.
  • Visa for the next destination of travel (if any).
  • Visa remains valid for 90 days from the date of issue and the duration of stay is determined by the Immigration Authorities on arrival.

Transit Visa

  • Trinidad and Tobago doesn't issue transit visa.

Seamen Visa

  • Applicant’s passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of intended travel plan.
  • Two completely filled-in visa forms duly signed by the Applicant (photocopy is allowed).
  • Two latest passport size photographs (2 x 2 inches). The photographs should be of good quality with a clear image.
  • Application should be attached with a Covering Letter mentioning the purpose of visit in detail.
  • Confirmed onward / return air ticket.
  • The application form should be enclosed with a Covering Letter from the Shipping Company.
  • The Shipping Agent in Trinidad and Tobago should send a fax message to the High Commission and to the Immigration Authorities in the Port of Spain mentioning the particulars of the Seamen, the date and port of their joining the Ship.
  • A Letter from the present Employer stating the Applicant's designation, the duration of Employment, salary, and a confirmation of rejoining the Company after the visit to Trinidad and Tobago. Letter must be in original, with the stamp of the Company should be attached with the application form.
  • Application form should be enclosed with proof of enough funds for maintenance for the entire duration of stay / tour.

Work Permit Visa

  • Applicant’s passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of intended travel plan.
  • Two completely filled-in visa forms duly signed by the Applicant (photocopy is allowed).
  • Two latest passport size photographs (2 x 2 inches). The photographs should be of good quality with a clear image.
  • Application should be attached with a Covering Letter mentioning the purpose of visit in detail.
  • The Sponsor in Trinidad and Tobago needs to approach the Immigration Department for the Work Permit of the Applicant with all requisite details.
  • The Approval should be sent directly to the Embassy and a copy of the same should be given to the Sponsor who needs to send it to the Applicant.
  • The Job Offer Letter from the Company in Trinidad and Tobago with Company Stamp on it is required (in original with two copies) should be submitted with the application form.
  • The Bank statements for the past 6 months (in original).
  • A certified copy of latest Income Tax Return statements.
  • Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) should be attached with the application form.
  • Visa remains valid for 90 days from the date of issue and the duration of stay is determined by the Immigration Authorities on arrival.
  • The Processing time can take up to 3 working days.
