Tourist Visa

The Applicant’s passport with validity of at least 6 months from the date of application;
Two visa forms (photocopy allowed);
Two passport-size photographs;
Confirmed onward / return air ticket;
Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate;
Onward Country visa (if any);
Foreign exchange should be endorsed on passport / Credit card copy;
Once issued, Visa remains valid for 90 days.
Visa processing time is 2 to 3 working days.
The visa fee should be paid in the form of a draft, drawn in favor of "Tanzania High Commission", payable at New Delhi.

Business Visa

The Applicant’s passport with validity of at least 6 months from the date of application;
Two visa forms (photocopy allowed);
Two passport-size photographs;
Application should be enclosed with a Covering Letter from the Company, mentioning Applicant's Name, his / her designation, the duration and purpose of the visit.
A Letter of Invitation from the Business Associate/ s in Tanzania (in original).
Confirmed onward / return air ticket.
Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate
Onward Country visa (if any)
After issuance, the Visa remains valid for 90 days.
The Visa Processing time can take up to 2 to 3 working days.
The visa fee has to be paid in the form of a draft, drawn in favor of "Tanzania High Commission", payable in New Delhi.
Visa fee is non-refundable.

Transit Visa

Visa is not needed if the Traveler continues the journey by the same or the first connecting aircraft within 24 hours. This holds, provided that the Traveler doesnâ€™t leave the airport and have a confirmed onward air ticket.

Seamen Visa

The Applicant’s passport with validity of at least 6 months from the date of application;
Two visa forms (photocopy allowed);
Two passport-size photographs;
Application form should be enclosed with a Covering Letter from the Shipping Company mentioning the Applicant's Name, the purpose, the designation, and the duration of visit.
The Shipping Agent in Tanzania should a letter to the Embassy, mentioning particulars of the Seamen, the date and the port of joining the Ship.
Confirmed onward / return air ticket.
Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate.
Onward Country visa
Evidence of sufficient funds, such as foreign exchange endorsement on the passport or copies of Credit Card.
The Visa is valid for 90 days.
Processing time is 2 to 3 working days.
The visa fee has to be paid in the form of a draft, drawn in favor of "Tanzania High Commission", payable in New Delhi.
