Business Visa

- A Covering Letter from the Indian Organisation recommending the visit.
- Proof of business in India (Tax Balance Sheet/ invoices etc).
- A formal Invitation from the Business Partner/ s should be faxed directly to the Embassy. If the Business Partner is a Dutch Company, the Invitation should be in the Dutch language.
- Proof of existing business with the Company in the Netherlands.
- One visa form (only back-to-back photocopy allowed).

Transit Visa
- Airport: Indian passport holders do not require a visa for airport transit.b)
- Normal: This visa can be issued for one, double or multiple entries with a validity of six months. A transit visa enables the Passenger to leave the airport and spend between a few hours to 2 days in cases where there is a long wait between their connecting flights or in cases where an immediate connecting flight is not available. Those who travel on a 'Subject-to-load ticket' are advised to obtain the transit visa. The following documents should be submitted with the application:
- A valid visa for the country of destination (photocopy).
- Proof of foreign exchange.
- An onward journey ticket.
- Hotel Reservation in case of an overnight halt.

Seamen Visa

- Indian Seamen traveling on duty must hold a Letter of Guarantee from the Shipping Company with Seamen book.
- A Letter from the Dutch Shipping Agent should be faxed to the Embassy stating the particulars of the Seamen, and the date and port of their joining the Ship.

Work Permit Visa
- The Applicant must secure an employment in the Netherlands.
- Employer needs to apply for the visa to the Ministry of Justice in Netherlands.
- The original Work Permit will be sent to the Applicant and a copy will be faxed to the Embassy.
- For a stay of over 1 year, the Applicant's Birth Certificate must be legalised and verified by Notary from where it was issued.
- For a stay of over 1 year, all documents must be attested by the Ministry of External Affairs, Patiala House, New Delhi before submission to the Embassy.
- All applications are referred to the Netherlands for approval from the Local Alien Police Office.
- After the visa approval is received, processing time is 1 day.
- On arrival in Netherlands, a resident permit will be issued only after Police Verification.
Student Visa
- The Applicant should have a passport valid for at least 3 months beyond the duration of intended stay.
- One visa form (only back-to-back photocopy allowed).
- One passport size photograph (2 x 2 inches- roughly 50 mm) against a white background, with the head centred in the frame and the face covering 50 percent of the photo area.
- A Covering Letter from the Applicant briefing about the nature and the duration of the Course to be undertaken.
- A Letter from the University/ School and fee receipts is required.

- Confirmed air ticket.
- Overseas Medical Health Insurance to cover the total period of stay in all Schengen Countries.
