Business / Visitor Visa
Both of the visa procedures are either managed by a Business House in Nauru or by relatives or friends in Nauru (whichever the case may be). There are no application forms. The correspondence should be made with the following:-
Principal Immigration Officer, Immigration Department. Tel: 4443161 Fax: 4443189.
- The details of the Passenger's passport.
- A covering letter mentioning the purpose of visit and the intended period of stay.
- Documentary proof of means of arrival and departure with approximate dates.
- Apart from these documents, a Sponsorship Application is also required by the Immigration Office. It can accompany a Covering Letter from either of the Sponsor in Nauru or by the Indian Company.
- Visa Applications submitted in New Delhi are referred to Nauru and the visa approval process can take 2 to 3 weeks.
- Visa validity is given as per the requirement
Transit Visa

Visa is not required if continuing the journey by the same or by the first connecting aircraft within 24 hours. This holds, provided the Passenger's do not leave the airport and hold a confirmed air ticket for the next country.
Seamen Visa
- Visa is not required. Indian Seamen traveling on duty must hold a Letter of Guarantee from the Shipping Company with the Seamen Book and passport.
