Tourist

The Applicant should possess a valid passport.
Tourist groups organized by a recognized tourist Agency in Kazakhstan need to apply for visa to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and subsequently, the approval is sent directly to the Embassy.
The letter of invitation (for business and tourist visas fax copies are accepted) which mentions the Visa Clearance number
One Visa application form (the photocopy is allowed).
Confirmed onward / return air ticket
Application should be enclosed with a covering letter in which the applicant is working.
Visa processing time at the Embassy will take up to 2 to 3 working days. Applicants should note that the embassy works on Monday, Wednesday and Friday only.
The Visa Fees are quoted in US Dollars, but can be paid in Indian Rupees. Consular fees can be paid through Kotak Mahindra Bank, Vasant Vihar Branch, in favor of Kazakhstan Embassy.

Visit / Business Visa

The Applicant need to have a valid passport.
One visa form (photocopy is allowed).
One latest passport-size photograph.
Confirmed onward / return air ticket.
A Letter of invitation (for business and tourist visas fax copies are acceptable) that bears Visa Clearance Number.
A covering letter from the company in India mentioning the purpose of visit.
Onward visa (if required) and proof of sufficient funds to survive in the country.
The Visa is granted for Single Entry and that too for a stay of 90 days.
Processing time of the Embassy is 2 to 3 working days and it should be noted that the embassy works only on Monday, Wednesday and Friday only.

Transit Visa

Transit Visa is required.
The application procedure and processing time is similar to that of Tourist Visa.
This Visa remains valid for three days only.
Visa Fees are quoted in US Dollars, but can be paid in Indian Rupees. Consular fees are paid through Kotak Mahindra Bank, Vasant Vihar Branch in favor of Kazakhstan Embassy.

Seamen Visa

Kazakhstan doesn't issue this visa.

Work Permit Visa

The Applicant should have a valid passport.
One visa form (photocopy is allowed).
One recent photograph
The visa clearance from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs should be sent directly to the Embassy, while a copy of the same should be attached with visa documents.
The Applicant will need to undergo medical test (from the Embassy approved doctor in Delhi).
Visa Fees are quoted in US Dollars, but payable in Indian Rupees. Consular fees are paid through Kotak Mahindra Bank, Vasant Vihar Branch, in favor of Kazakhstan Embassy.
