Climate: Burundi has a hot equatorial climate, found near Lake Tanganyika and in the Ruzizi River plain. It's mostly on the lake, however, the remaining part of the country is mild and pleasant. The country mainly has two rainy seasons - the major one is from February to April, while the minor one begins between September and December. Burundi also has two dry seasons, the long dry season from May to August and the shorter one from December and February.

Tourist/Business Visa

The applicant should attach a valid passport in original with photocopies of passport (first and last pages) with visa application form.
The applicant must submit the invitation letter / covering letter giving the purpose, date of travel & brief regarding his / her or organization's travel.
One duly filled visa application form.
One passport sized photograph.
Confirmed return air ticket should be attached with the visa application.
Applicant should have adequate funds to cover the period of stay in Burundi.

Transit A Visa
