Tourist / Business Visa
Indian Nationals need to apply for a visa to visit Barbados.
- Visa can be applied from the Barbados High Commission in London, UK or Washington, USA.
- In order to obtain visa from London, the personal presence of the traveler is required except he / she is a well-traveled and regular visitor or a commercially significant person.
- The visa can also be obtained on arrival at the Grantley Airport with prior written confirmation. For this, the traveler needs to send advance information to the address given below with detailed information of the passport, flight number, date of arrival, and the destination. The same information will be conveyed to the Grantley Airport so that the passport is endorsed on arrival.
- The visa validity and fee varies, and can be processed the same day only if the application is submitted in the morning.
- Documents required to be sent in order to apply for visa:
- Photocopies of passport pages with endorsements (STAMPS / VISAS etc.)
- 2 duly filled visa forms and signed by the applicant (photocopy allowed)
- Two recent passport size photographs.
- A covering letter written by the applicant mentioning his / her name, designation, passport number, purpose of travel, duration of visit and a return address.
- Applicants residing in a country other than their place of birth need to submit the proof of legal resident status in the adoptive country.

Transit Visa
- Visa is not required for passengers in transit from Airport to Cruise terminal and vice - a- versa.
- Regular passengers transiting at Barbados for another destination within 12 hours are treated as "Direct Transit Passengers" and accommodated in the arrival terminal until he / she is escorted to the departure lounge for his / her onward flight.
Seamen Visa
Visa is not required for Seamen that are arriving at airport and transiting to vessel within 12 hours.
However, if in the case an over-night stay is required, then a visa should be obtained.
