How Do You Get It?

What Else Do You Need To Know? – Air India
- The ticket may be purchased worldwide.
- Age Limit: 18 Years and above.
- Students purchasing a RT ticket originating India are entitled for the same facilities in the return direction.
- The offer is valid only on paid tickets and not on Redemption/Award/AD/ID/FOC etc.
- The offer is applicable to students originating their International (OW &RT) Journey from India. Journey originating from China, Hong Kong and SAARC countries, travelling on Return Ticket (RT) to India are also eligible.
- The passenger should be travelling on a valid student / student exchange visa (F1/J1/I20/DS20 etc .
- For IND-KTM-IND valid documents authorized by the college for a full time course should be submitted since visa is not issued.

What Else Do You Need To Know? – EaseMyTrip

- The offer cannot be clubbed with any other promotional offers
- In case of partial/full cancellation the offer stands void and customer will not be eligible for any refund
- Changes in names are not allowed
Terms and Conditions – Air India
- The scheme is valid for the whole of Canada on AI-AC Code share flight for One-way student travel and also on Return fares.
- The scheme is extended to the whole of Canada and is valid for sale on AI- AC Code share flights on all RBDs.
- Additional baggage allowance is valid for the journey from online to Interior points in UK/US/Europe/Australia provided it is in a single ticket and subject to one interline sector on the thru public fares with no stopover en route.
- The Scheme is applicable for AI Code share flights subject to meeting of following conditions:
-The itinerary should be on a 098 single ticket document if the ticket document belongs to other airline eg LH etc it is not eligible.
- The itinerary should have at least one International segment operated by AI. Eg DEL-BHX AI 113 and AI6102 BHX-BHD on FLYBE is eligible. Itinerary with single coupon segment operated by other airlines is not eligible. Eg: Standalone Code share BOM-MRU AI 6749 operated by MK is not eligible.
- Additional baggage allowance under the Maharajah scheme is valid on the Outbound Journey up to the final destination including the leg operated by Air India’s Interline partner. And on Inbound Journey it will be applicable on Air India Operated sector only.
- Example Routing BOM -(AI) JFK-(UA)- BOS-(UA)-JFK-(AI)-BOM.
- For the Outbound sector BOM -(AI) JFK-(UA)- BOS Free additional baggage Allowance will be till the destination i.e BOS.
- Normal EBT will be issued for the routing BOM -(AI) JFK-(UA)-BOS including the Interline leg JFK-BOS.
- EBT will be charged in the above example through issuance of 2 coupons; One BOMJFK and the other one for JFKBOS.
- In both coupons no GST has to be computed or shown in the EMD. As far as the base EBT amount, it will be completely absorbed by AI.
- The paper EBT issued involving the two coupons will include in the Endorsement column a remark naming the scheme i.e. Maharaja Scholars Scheme along with the designated Account Number. - On the Inbound sector BOS- (UA)-JFK-(AI)-BOM the Free Additional baggage allowance will be given to the passenger ONLY on the sector operated by Air India. The passenger has to bear the cost of the excess baggage charges for the Interline sector BOS-JFK on UA. Free baggage allowance will be on AI sector JFK-BOM.
- Additional baggage allowance is also valid on Indian Domestic leg of the International journey on AI operated flights. Additional baggage allowance is also applicable if the Domestic sector is on a separate ticket provided the connection is within 24hours.
- Two Schemes cannot be combined. Student availing additional baggage allowance through Maharaja Scholar Offer cannot avail the additional baggage allowance for being a FFP member.
- This offer may be availed by genuine students any number of times during the offer period and is not restricted to first-time travel.
- The Additional baggage allowance is applicable over and above the Free Baggage Allowance reflected on the ticket, subject to a max of 40Kgs. Eg: If the ticket displays 30 Kgs for any particular sector, the additional baggage allowance will be 10 Kgs only, subject to a maximum of 40 Kgs.
- The offer is extended to students travelling Business Class as highlighted above, provided all necessary conditions are fulfilled.
