Established by the government of Kenya on 22nd January 1977 after the suspension of East African Airways, Kenya Airways commenced its operations on 4th February, 1977 using two Boeing 707–321s leased from British Midland Airways. Until April 1995, the airline was completely part of the Government of Kenya but it was privatized in 1996 and became the first African flag carrier to do this effectively. Baggage allowance in Kenya Airways flights depends on the cabin class & the destination you have chosen for traveling. Infants not occupying seats are allowed for a baggage of 10 kg.
