2 tours - 1 day

The Rhine falls was a great experience. The falls were magnificent from the viewing platforms, especially the one down the bottom, however the best experience was from the optional boat ride - I highly recommend. Manual was a fantastic guide. Please note there are quite a few steps! After the Rhine falls experience I was a bit tired when it came time for the Best of Zurich tour. Thankfully for me most of the tour was on the bus. There were a few off the bus photo opportunities and the day ended with a short walk through the old town. Great way to see the city if you are short on time. Cristina was very informative.

This trip need some improvement in itinerary

While Rhine fall visit was excellent a two hour break before city tour killed the experience. It should have been properly explained in the itinerary that there will be a gap of 2 hrs . Ideally it should be a continuous trip. Tough overall not a bad experience.

Definitely see Rhine Falls!

The falls were great to see, must definitely do a boat ride. City part was OK, did get to see Lake Zurich which was best part of tour.

fun tour that covers a lot of ground!

really fun tour! the boat ride at the rhine falls was so worth it! (we had to pay our guide in cash for this experience so make sure you have swiss franks or euros so you dont have to pull it from the atm when you get there) the best of zurich city tour was also great. mostly by bus with some pit stops along the way, wchih was perfect becuase it was a long day and sitting on the bus was nice, we covered a lot of ground! we didnt do the boat cruise afterwards but in retrospect I wish we had overall great all day experience!

Fun trip to Rhine Falls

This was a great experience. We had so much fun. The falls are beautiful and our guide was very informative. We took some amazing pictures .

We spent a lovely half...

We spent a lovely half day at the Rheinfalls. The falls are really spectacular and we enjoyed even more by taking one of the boat tours very close to the falls! Our guide was awesome, she explained all the details regarding the falls. Ours was a small group but she still was able to arrange the boat trip for us! We took the Zurich city tour in the second half of the day! The tour gave us a great overview of the city! They pointed out landmarks to explore after the tour. The bus was nice and comfortable! All in all a great two in one tour combo!!

Zurich Tours

Rhine Falls were beautiful, rushing waters flowing. We did the boat ride and got a close up experience. The City tour showed much of the old city, river front, neighborhoods and churches. The guides did a great job!

Best thing I did from Zurich

This experience was perfect and I am so glad I did this on my first day in Zurich. The waterfall was amazing and I did not feel the boat tour was oversold as other reviewers noted. It is totally worth the extra fee to go right to the waterfall and you even get a little wet. The city tour after a lunch break capped off the day and you experience a city completely differently once you get an educated explanation of it. Highly recommend this even if you only have one day in Zurich.

Very poorly organized!!!

The trip to Rhein Falls was beautiful. We hiked all the way down to the boat dock only for it to be unavailable-this was very disappointing. My mom has knee problems and had to hike all the way back up. Our guide had good info but the people on the bust talked throughout her talk so it was very hard to hear. The tour guide for the drive around Zurich was informative, however, she had to give info in German and English and many times we missed the sight by the time she told us about it in English. We also spent the first 25 minutes of the tour in traffic. The mask policy wasn’t enforced on the bus-Trudy, our guide, really needed to do a check to make sure people had their masks on. The walking part of the tour was so disorganized that we left midway without her even noticing.

Brilliant tour with the best Switzerland

I did this tour as I thought value what you pay was very good. I had tour guider, his name is Konrad Peter, he was very good, and knowledgable. We talked all way when we went Rheinfall. He took me around and did an extra excusion for wineland village, that was very nice of him. I enjoyed the tour very much. Thank Konrad, you was the best. I also like to thank the best Switzerland tour for running this tour for me as a solo booking of this tour.

Great mixed Tour

We started our tour at 9am from car park zurich. Monika give us a friendly welcome. The tour bus was clean, the drive to rhinefalls was made through the highway or crossing the beautiful swiss villages. During the drive monika prepared us with Information for arriving the rhinefalls. The rhinefalls as the strongest waterfall europe was quite impressive. We had luck that it was raining for the last 3 days before :) Went back to Zürich we had a quick break for a coffee and start than the zurich city tour. We can recommend the tour who like enjoy a combined trip to biggest waterfalls europe and a city trip cross over zurich! Joanna Krüger

Good but

It was a good trip, but took only 5 hours not a day as written in the booking details , so I was looking for more..

Less value for a lot of money

Every time we try to book our tour, we always first go through Viator but this was the worst tour so far. we are been charged double the amount of the value of the tour.

Very nice!

You will enjoy the moment there seeing the water falls. If you have a stroller, things will be difficult a bit as there are steps down and ups. The boat experience going near by the falls is worthy.

Biggest waste of time and money...

<p>Biggest waste of time and money! This tour could have been done independently! Tour guide and bus driver was very nice and knowledgeable but the Rhine Falls are NOTHING to rave about. Its only called the biggest waterfall because its wide! There is nothing special about this place. Then what angered me off even more is that while on the bus, the tour guide tells us we can do an optional boat ride. My husband and I were the only two who didnt opt to do it. She was convincing everyone that the views fronm the boat are wonderful and its an amazing experience and going on and on about it. It was 10 Swiss francs per person. Since we were the only two left out, we decided to just do it. Well, let me tell u, the dam boat went in a small circle and close to the waterfall but it was suchhhhhh a joke! Again, it was on,y great cuz you literally went by the waterfall! <br/> Dont book this tour, save your money and do something else!</p>

<p>It was a nice tour, the tour guide knew a lot and was willing to help with problems that may occurred. The time at Rhine falls was too short. I didn't even had the time to go to the bathroom and its hard to enjoy the view of the falls and take pictures on every viewing point if you don't have enough time, plus there are other people there taking photos and such. After Rhine falls we returned to Zurich and I had to wait for 2 and a half hours for the next tour yes you can go eat or something, but if you are on a budget and just eat something small or have food with you, that time is too long.</p>

<p>Rhine Falls were fabulous and there was plenty of time to wander and explore. Our guide so sorry, I don't remember his name gave lots of information. Really enjoyed this. The city tour was also nice. My one negative comment was that we had to line up in the morning to check in for the tour. There was a break after the Rhine Falls and then we had to line up again to sign up for the city tour and get a time. It was cold and rainy, so not at all pleasant. It would have been much more efficient to have everyone sign up for the city tour time slot either at time of booking or else at the initial check in for the Rhine Falls part of the tour.</p>

I missed the Rhine Falls tour due to...

<p>I missed the Rhine Falls tour due to my own timing issues but the Best of Zurich city tour was decent. The Lindt chocolate store tour was cancelled because there weren't enough people signed up. I am glad because it was very easy to get to the chocolate stores Springli in the city center. I was issued a full refund for the chocolate store tour being cancelled.</p>

The Rhine Falls was a spectacular...

<p>The Rhine Falls was a spectacular sight to see! You are transported there by a small coach. The visit is pretty basic. Drive about an hour to the site and then return back to Zurich. The Zurich tour was pretty interesting. It is a combination of views from the coach and a walking tour. The tour is complete before nightfall, so you will have the evening to do other things.</p>

The name of the tour is misleading as we did not tour the factory, we just went to the Lindt chocolate shop in the factory compound. The amazing tour guide Trudy made the experience still amazing because she is very kind, helpful and is fun to be with.</p>

<p>The falls were beautiful and very full at the time of our visit in Oct. What we didn't learn ahead of our visit was the number of stairs required to get down to actually see the falls! It was a warm day and we found the amount of stairs to be almost too much for us. If you are over 60, inquire before you go, if you have any difficulty with a lot of stair climbing!</p>

<p>This tour was worth doing, but hopefully you have a better tour guide than we did for the Rhine Falls. Our guide for the Rhine Falls really didn't do the tour justice, aside from promising to come and let us know when our bus arrived and to wait over by the bus shelter out of the rain, then failing to even attempt to find us - we were lucky we were a little more vigilant otherwise we would have missed our tour waiting for him to do as he promised. The tour guide really just went through the motions, and when we arrived at the falls he simply walked the tour group down to the boat, our tour guide didn't give any insight to what we were seeing or even bother to show any of us where we needed to head back to, aside from telling us as we were on the boat to head to the elevator to go back up - so exactly where do we go for that - would have avoided a number of us floundering around trying to find the exit point after our boat trip. Instead, he and his two colleagues headed back up to the cafe and waited there, glad they got lunch. On a tight schedule, we had a few minutes to look through the souvenirs before being back on the bus. Purchasing the two tours, there was no time allowance for a meal or any kind of nourishment before the second tour commenced - that is poor organizing. The city tour, however, was a far better run tour and we really enjoyed the guide and the information, but after two tours back to back we were beyond hungry at the conclusion of the second tour.</p>

<p>Wow, what an amazing place. I had very limited time on my trip to Switzerland and this tour was fantastic, the Rhine Falls is breath taking. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and we even popped across the border to Germany on the way back, which was an added bonus. The city highlights was thoroughly enjoyable and insightful. Highly recommend both tours.</p>

<p>Great excursion, but very tiring- we started at around 0930 hrs and didn't finish until after 1700 hrs. The Rhine Falls experience was particularly fun! Wasn't aware that the last part of the trip the Lake Zurich cruise required so much walking. After the Lindt outlet we had to walk to the boat terminal no more bus ride available at this point, and when the boat ride was over you walk to a nearby tram station to catch a tram to get back to where ever you were going. It was difficult going for my wife who has a hip problem. Those with ambulation problems might want to be aware of the amount of walking required.</p>

According to this tour we crossed over to the German border which was not called for rather they should have taken us around the schaffhausen village. <br/> The best of Zurich tour was fantastic.
