We had a great tour of these magnificent temples. Our driver was very knowledgeable and helpful in navigating our way through the entry and ticketing process. He was an excellent driver and very friendly as well.

Despite knowing little beforehand, I'm immensely grateful for the decision to include them in my Indonesian itinerary. Great day visiting temples

We had an amazing day in Borobudur and Prambanan thanks to Wahyu Travel. Ahmat, the driver was really friendly, flexible and helpful. We also enjoyed the Prambanan tour with the guide Teja. Such a funny guy with a lot of knowledge. TOTALLY RECOMMENDED

I had the best time with Ilhem, he is such a kind person and I felt at ease. Couldn’t have asked for a better day! Also the temples are a must see, try to do Borobudur in the late afternoon (15:30). Less hot and beautiful sunset.

Excellent company and driver

The tour went thru flawlessly. When I booked the tour, the company reached me over Whatsup proactively and provided all relevant information. Thanks to them, I learned that the temples are closed on Mondays, hence I re-booked, and then they provided detailed instructions on how to order Temple Structure tickets on-line at the right time. On the day of the tour, Ahmat picked us up from the hotel exactly at the right time he suggested based on his experience. We had an excellent tour with him. Overall, I strongly recommend both the company and the driver.

A great day out. Saw both temples which were both outstanding. Excellent driver and tour guide. Had a lovely day which was off the beaten track. Perfect day and could not recommend enough.

Nice experience

The temples are all very beautiful and nice to see. Our driver Ahmad was very kind and helpful. At Prambanan there are hardly any westerners so expect locals who will want to take fotos with you. If you just say no they will leave you alone.

Great Tour and driver!

We had a great day with our driver Ilham. He took us to Borobudur and Prambanan temples on a day trip. He was always very kind and punctual, we basically never waited for him. He even stopped by on the street, because we asked about typical Indonesian desserts, and he mentioned there was a shop closeby, selling bakpia with all kinds of fillings, if we wanted to get some! Everything was perfect!

Enjoyed tour

The driver Mr. Nusrul arrived at pickup point on time so I felt relieved. he knows well about jogja. He took me to not only world heritage site but also to where is famous for jogja by using of the spare time. I’m so much appreciated. Once I bought Borobudur ticket, it is included in the tour guide, on the other hand, prambanan is not so you should ask about tour guide if you need a guide in Prambanan.

Highly Recommend!

Our Driver Nusrul was very awesome! Everything worked perfectly. We were picked up directly in front of the hotel in the morning (note the pick-up zone!) and were able to buy our tickets online in advance. We stopped for lunch between Borobudur and Prambanan.

Good tour, top notch driver.

Not so much of a tour, but more of a transportation service with the booking of your own, private driver who will pick you up, take you to said places and drop you off at you hotel. Everything went smoothly, but would have wished for a shared tour option instead. My driver, Handoko, was nothing else but first class. Highly recommended!

Wahyu is the man! Friendly guy who was always punctual, a really safe driver and even if not included in the reservation, he explained and supported us with the booking and organization of the attractions we wanted to see, he even adjusted his schedule to meet our needs. We booked one day the Prambaban plus the Ramayana Ballet with him, and on another day, also with him, we booked Borobudur with a visit to a traditional Indonesian village. He gave also really good recommendations yon where to eat. I highly recommend booking your tours with Wahyu, you are in good hands with him.

Great experience: Borobudur Temple & Village Tour with Wahyu

We had a great time with our guide Wahyu. He picked us up at around 7:30 to drive to Borobudur (make sure to book the „Structure“ ticket in advance). Afterwards, we visited a small village close to Borobudur and had the chance to explore the village life (tempeh production, traditional music playing, tea, etc.). We were so comfortable with our guide Wahyu that we booked three tours with him, I can only recommend :)

The tour was very nice! Our driver was super friendly! He listen to all our wishes and he helped a lot with going to the right entrances and getting the tickets. Everything went very smoothly and the whole trip was super fun :) I recommend it a lot!

Great trip to Borobudur and Pranbanam

We had an excellent tour of Borobudur and Pranbanam temples. From the start there was great communication from the Wahyu travel team who sent on the links for buying the tickets for climbing the borobudur structure. Our driver Ahmad picked us up from the hotel and brought us to borobudur. He was an excellent and friendly driver with very good English and explained the history of the area to us. He also made sure we got into both temples hassle free. Ahmad also brought us to a great spot for lunch before going to Pranbanam temple. Overall it was a great day out and I would highly recommend this tour to see the temples.

A beautiful week in Java

We had such a lovely time in Java Central and Yudah played a big role in the success of our trip! He helped us with translation, took us to beautiful temples and sceneries and, most importantly, found us very cute and local places to eat no matter the time and place. Flexibility and cheap price

Rahman the driver was fantastic, the whole experience is way more personalised and flexible than with these huge groups and buses. Most probably the best way to visit the Borobudur!

Great experience - symphatetic and friendly. We booked two days with Wahyu who arranged everything brilliantly and was very helpful and quick to answer all our questions during planning. 2 temples in a day

The communication was flawless from the beginning through WhatsApp. Since we wanted to climb Borobudur temple we had to get special "structure" tickets and we were sent the link and explanation that the tickets get on sale only a week in advance. We were picked up at the hotel on time by Wahyu and got to Borobudur and Prambanan with no problems. Wahyu is a really good & safe driver. Heads up....If you are thinking that renting a car would be a good idea, please think again because the traffic is crazy and with all the scooters mixed in, it is even worse. In Indonesia, they also drive on the left side so that is also something to think about if you are from Europe. We also asked to stop somewhere for lunch and he took us to a really good local restaurant near Pranbanan. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Everything was well arranged and went to plan. Bruri was an excellent driver and english speaking guide rolled into one. He was goid company during the drives, full of local information, inckuding a stop at the best fresh durian we‘ve had so far！

Thanks to Wahyu, my family and I had an amazing day exploring Borobudur and Prambanan Temple, and we stopped at a lovely lunch spot. He was very knowledgeable and we had lovely conversations during our time together. I can’t recommend this tour enough- you won’t regret it.

A flexible and personable tour operator.

An excellent tour of Borobudur and Prambanan. Our driver Bruri was professional and friendly. We couldn’t get Borodurur tickets for 9:30 and had to settle for 10:30. Wahyu Travel talked us through the process and Bruri adjusted our tour to include Mendut temple, which was lovely. All in all, a long but worthwhile day.

Great experience

We have confirmed our tour with Wahyu on an extremely short notice and were very happy that he was available to guide us around. Wahyu was also able to accommodate our own itinerary, where after morning visit to Borobudur, we have continued with rafting. Wahyu is a very friendly guy and a great and very helpful guide. We are also very grateful for his suggestion of a local restaurant near Keratin and menu for our dinner, this was very nice meal and we got to enjoy some local delicacies we might have not known to order otherwise.

Amazing Jogja with Wahyu Travel Indonesia!

Professional tour guide with great attitude

I traveled to Jogja in early Dec. Wahyu sent a guide/driver named Atok. He arrived at the hotel earlier than scheduled. From the beginning he was very professional and had great attitude. He also spoke very good English. He shared informative and interesting history of Candi Borobudur - Prambanan. He was also very patient accompanying my mom while I climbed up to the Borobudur. Afterwards he took us to local restaurant. Overall my family had a pleasant trip, thanks to the service that Wahyu provided.

Amazing Trip

Initially I wasn’t sure if the climb to the top of the Borobudur Temple is too tedious for me, after checking with Wahyu, I went ahead to book and it is the best advice from the expert and I’m glad that I did. Ahmat is my driver/guide and he is friendly, helpful and patient. He waited for us as we climbed up Borobudur Temple and walked around Prambanan Temple. He even helped us to take beautiful photos at the best spots! I will definitely recommend Wahyu and Ahmat!

Can't emphasise how glad we are to have found Wahyu and his company on Agoda Activities! Wahyu was friendly and responsive from the moment I contacted him, and answered any questions I had about Borobodur tix / Merapi Jeeps / my planned itinerary with tons of information. On the day of our tour booking itself, Ahmad (our driver / tour guide) was punctual in picking us up and he was friendly and engaging plus super patient throughout all our planned (and unplanned!) stops for the day, bringing us to an amazing restaurant and also to a great Kopi Luwak place, and purposely arranging an English-speaking Merapi Jeep guide for us.
