In need of urgent TLC

Visited in June 24, family with 2.5 year old (under 0.9m). Why do the majority of rides in Duplo land have height requirement of 0.9m? Other parks (Peppa Pig World) have rides for ALL heights - including quite exciting rides. So it is entirely possible. It just seems strange that Legoland opted for rides with minimum height requirements in an area that would appeal mostly to younger children. However what annoyed me the most is the lack of general care and maintenance throughout the park. Everything was faded, dirty, and unloved. From mounds of pigeon poo, weeds growing, dirty rides in need of a good wash. This is all totally inexcusable. The ONLY things that looked 'good' were the food and beverage stalls - heavy investment in these areas to maximise profit no doubt. Clean up and take some pride in your park.

Wonderful time with family, 5 star service from Shaan

Had a lovely time, wasn’t too busy on the rides. The restaurants are expensive so next time i’ll be bringing a picnic. We stayed overnight at the woodland lodge and had outstanding customer service from Shaan. He was eager to help us, was engaging with our children and just a lovely, helpful person. Don’t usually remember names but thought Shaan was definitely worth a shout out :)

Kids enjoyed, but certainly not an amazing magical day out

Ultimately the kids had a good time but the attraction is far from “amazing”. I did purchase the Ultimate ride pass for us also, which we had higher expectations for, and for a couple of tickets which themselves were nearly the price of the weekend accommodation & ticket combo, I thought these would have been more like ‘Golden tickets’. Whilst on a few of the bigger rides they got you straight to the front which was fantastic however, a lot of the time, you just joined the queue slightly closer than others, Ninjago as an example. (And nobody checked any tickets!) Some rides didn’t event offer it eg Hydro. So for that price you’d expect it on everything. But, we managed to get into Dragon really fast, and then do it again minutes later, so it worked well in that instance. I think what I’m trying to say here is that, you probably don’t need to do Uktimate, you could do one of the lesser ones perhaps. Perhaps the ultimate tickets should offer other perks too, for their sheer price, maybe money off in the overprices restaurants etc?? Why did I get one in the first place? Well, normally wouldn’t, and we’d go in an off-peak weekend in the autumn when it’s quiet but it was a birthday outing, and I’m not prepared to stand in a queue for hours with a bored under 7yrs old, and for them to have a decent day on lots of rides as opposed to hour long queue, it seemed a fair trade off in some respects. The park itself, was good and OK in places. The usual disgruntled staff wishing they weren’t there always sets the tone, and for somewhere where its premise is model making….the mini village it’s really un-maintained. The models look, sad, tired, tatty. The boats in the water are all grubby with algae and the place generally looked unloved. Not far up the road is Beakonscot Model Village which is beautiful as a stark contrast. The theme park itself with its usual cluster of attractions was all as-per expected, there’s always a bunch of them that are closed for maintenance, and the Viking Ride area is STILL barrieried off and it was like that when we visited last a few years ago. Also…the Lego studio was closed. The midday pirate show was excellent with lots of wacky stunts, and we’re hoping for meet-and-greets thought out the day with characters, but this magic wasn’t happening. Obviously, food is terrible and overpriced at these places with limited variety within the gamut of “fried”; Should have bought a picnic. However, the unlimited bottle of pop is a good deal if you’ve not bought your own drinks, and you’re happy to drink that stuff all day. We did the golf…book this for after the park closes, or just before, as it’s open later. Also, this was another misleading thing on the website, you can only pick ONE zone, not all of them, again but disappointing because of the price. But the golf was enjoyed by all and it made a nice break from the hullabaloo of the main park. Reflections- -Bring your own picnic -Get one of the lesser reserve & ride passes as the unlimited isn’t completly worth it - do the golf after the main park closes

Terrible, not worth the money

Wasn't that disable friendly. One of the worst trips out with a sen family. Lots of things were closed and struggling to open. Struggled to find staff to help us. Don't buy food when you are there way, way over priced. Most of the games there to win prizes make you feel like they are rigged. Won't be going again.

Awful food

Fathers day visit, busy but expected. A few rides closed but kids had a great time/ Now we made sandwiches and silly me forgot to pack them with us. This left me at the mercy of the food at legoland. Now the million dollar question. Yes the food was a rip off but its expected. But Legoland why is the quality of the food so poor? A hot dog and a cheeseburger, for £20. It was so poor quality felt sick after. Not even sure if it was beef, disgusting. |Straight in the bin. Dont mind paying, but why dont these places improve the quality. p.s How is £17 for face painting not ilegal????

Amazing Accessibility Team

The accessibility team (Jodie especially) were absolutely amazing!! I’ve ongoing knee issues and the day before we were due to go to legoland my knee had a flare up. I got in touch via the live chat who soon got me to the accessibility team. They were a huge help and made the day with the kiddies a brilliant success. Big smiles all around, we will definitely be returning, lots to do and see, a 2 day pass is probably worth it! A big thank you to Jodie and the team :)

Best family day out.

I can honestly say we had the best family day out yesterday at Legoland. It was non stop fun all day. Lots of places to eat and get a drink and the rides are amazing. The staff are friendly and I can't wait to go back again.

Disappointing.

Disappointing. My son and two of his friends, although technically teenagers, are neuro diverse and Lego-mad. They were really looking forward to a day at Legoland. Disappointment hit as we walked in and the Viking water ride was boarded up closed. We walked for 10 minutes before finding a suitable open ride - The Dragon, which we enjoyed. Dragon’s Apprentice and the submarine Atlantis ride, which we’ve enjoyed before, have also been permanently closed. Several other rides were temporarily closed. The new Speedway ride was good, but had a very long and boring queue. We gave up on the new Mythica sky lion ride because the queue time kept increasing even though we were at the back of it. (Plus, that queue area felt like we were cattle being herded.) Every Lego building area was hugely overwhelming and full of young kids, parents on phones, and chaos. The most disappointing thing was lunch. One desperately wanted a hot dog, but there were no places listed on the app that sold them. I promised them a burger. They had one double and two standard cheeseburgers, two fries and one mozzarella sticks, with two cokes and a tea. It cost well over £50, and was not great - lukewarm and cheap tasting. We later passed two stalls selling hot dogs… Towards the end of our time there, they found the Spinning Spider ride and went on several times in a row. I think that, and the hour we spent in the shop, saved the day. Maybe we’ve outgrown it, but Legoland felt dingy, closed off and broken down, with no coherence to the themed areas and very little joy.

Lego Land - room for improvement

Stayed at the Lego Land hotel in a Pirate room with 3 kids, all clan and fine, seemed a bit run down and could do with a refresh but seen a lot worse. Went down for dinner, menu is awful, mainly junk food which is not what we want to be feeding the new generation. Prices are way too high, there menus do not show individual prices so you are led to believe you need to order either the 2 course or 3 course option - which is not correct - please ask about this. Cheeseburger was abysmal, not sure what meat it was nothing like I've experience before, the runny cheese also made it so bad - who has signed off on this burger? We want to put a good burger on the menu, ok fine, so we need good ground beef, ideally British, season lightly, make into a patty, fresh lettuce, gherkins, tomatoe and good cheddar, in a bun - its that simple to make a fairly decent burger - how can Lego land get it so wrong?? Breakfast choices are pretty good to be honest, cereals and cooked options, would be nice to see fresh fruit available though. They do offer smoothies which is good. I'd happily redesign their menu if they want my advice and get proper nutrition available. Its not surprise now why i saw so many people order Uber Eats to eat in their room...shocking. The Lego Land resort was good, but run down, needs a really good restoration, some of the rides looks so tired, paint all chipping off and faded. About 5 rides were not even open which is odd.. I doubt the senior board are too concerned at present as am sure the GRR figures are very attractive but there is so much scope to improve the whole experience, from first arriving to leaving.

Avoid this year!

Woodland village - would avoid this year, opened before ready, used excuse of being new for poor service. Poorly trained staff, made to feel I wasn’t telling the truth

Never experienced anything like it

We live locally to Windsor and I have been to this park many times over the years with both of my children growing up. My eldest child is an adult with Down Syndrome, autism & arthritis. I was worried that this park was going to be too young now for my son but wanted him to have an enjoyable afternoon out somewhere close by. On arrival to the park a helpful young man directed us to the disabled bays. After this things started to go down hill. We had two tickets and had read online you get a carers ticket free. We approached the gate and were told we needed documentation of my son’s PIP or something to prove he is disabled. I didn’t have any of this on me as I do not carry it with me, the lady told us to go and speak to ticket collection/ guest services. Olivia at the desk said sorry you will need documentation. I pointed out that you could see he had Down syndrome and she was still couldn’t care less and was being very unhelpful. I asked her age and she said she was 17 and then got very angry and aggressive and was smirking and finding it amusing. I asked to speak to a manager and a boy called Dougie who was around 20 years of age appeared, he proceeded to agree with everything Olivia had said and was trying to blame it all on me in-front of my son. I then suggested my sons Blue Parking badge which he said that would be fine and he would not make us walk to the car park but he kept referring back to Olivia’s age and what I had said about her having poor customer service skills. I felt as though he wanted me to say I was wrong and to apologise to her. Which I was not willing to do and with that he then said he would need us to go back to the car to get the blue badge. It seemed as though he was on some sort of power trip but the situation was just causing distress to my son. By now my daughter just wanted to leave. However, I wanted my son to have a nice rest of the day so we decided to forget about them both and try to have fun. My son was excited to go on the rides he particularly enjoyed the dragon ride and the spider one. The staff inside the park were all very friendly and helpful. We spent three hours in the park and it started to rain so we decided to go home. We didn’t realise you also have to pay for parking. Upon exit we were greeted by Olivia who is now a parking attendant and told us we needed to pay. We paid the £10 and as we drove off she shouted ‘ sorry I’m too young for you’. It was horrendous,I felt at this point I was being harassed by a young girl. Legoland staff need to be trained in working with people who are disabled and who have learning disabilities because today we were not even given the access pass which all disabled guests should receive. Which Dougie and Olivia should know. It is such a shame that this happened as my son really did enjoy the park itself and I’m sure we would have been visiting again soon.

Queues too long

Visited with older adult and small children, 2 six yrs old and a 3 year old. There were at least 5 rides closed, possibly more, for maintenance which put pressure on other rides on a busy day. The queues were generally about 45 minutes which for older people isn’t too bad, but for the little ones is torture. Given the ride situation the company should have limited visitor numbers. Although I fail to understand how so many rides come to need maintenance on a Saturday just as the main season is commencing. I would also note that all food and drink is expensive, best to take your own if possible.

School Visit

I brought a party for 28 11-year-olds to visit. The park was clean and not too busy as it was term time. Queue times were short which meant the children got on lots of rides. The park doesn’t have huge white knuckle rides, but there was enough fun for this age group (wouldn’t bring older children), and as the member of staff leading the party, I was confident they were all safe. Staff were friendly and helpful. There were activities for those who don’t enjoy rides and so everyone had a great day.

Park good but avoid hotel

Park itself is good but I do find it to be overpriced and alot of places were card only. We stayed at the legoland hotel and got early entry into the park which wasn't worth it as half rides weren't even open. On a side note don't stay at legoland hotel it is extremely overpriced and the food was awful

Great day out

Great family park, lots of things to do for everyone no matter their age. Watched the Pirates Show which was really good as it was on last visit a few months ago. Went on the Fire Trucks, Fairytale ride and Speedway plus lots of other bits n pieces. All staff encountered were helpful and friendly, park was nice and clean. I feel that the food on offer is a bit pricey as this park is for a lot of families. Also not a great choice of food bits on offer, hotdogs/ churros etc.(where is the chip van). In saying that there are a lot of places to sit down and relax if you take your own picnic food with you. My granddaughter had a great time in the children’s playground and the Dragon Ride. The only down side to going to Legoland was the journey which took us 3 hours in the morning because of roadworks and the same on the way back. Nothing to do with Legoland but worth mentioning for other people before they visit. It’s normally a 2 hour journey for us.

Incredible day out but at a serious cost

Don’t get me wrong we had a great time but it is SO, SO expensive to be able to go and do the park in one day. We went on the Saturday at the end of the school holidays so knew it would be busy. The only way we would be able to get on the rides was to pay for the ultimate fast pass. We paid £39 each, then £110 each for the fast pass. This was great as we could literally walk onto most rides (ninjango was a pain and took 20mins even with fast pass) But even when we’ve spent £450 on one day they still ask for £8 to park, wow! You think they’d throw that in for free! We love the park and we managed to get on every ride we wanted to. It’s my sons favourite day out but this comes at a significant cost So if you are happy to pay real money to go on all the rides def do it as you will have an amazing day

Don’t go waste of money and time

If there was an option of not giving a star at all then would have done that coz my experience was terrible. The queue lines were more than an hour and it was crowded . Not at all worth the money and time . For tourist going from London is already too expensive due to commuting charges and then doing only 3-4 due to long queues and waiting time is a nightmare and u simply start asking yourself why did I book the tickets. Lego land people are simply greedy and that they allow so many on single day . The number of ppl allowed on a particular day should be limited or fast track rices should be reduced. They are simply there to make money not for customer satisfaction. If anyone is reading this review don’t waste your time at all by going to legoland coz it’s not worth your time and money as you will be paying and wasting your time to stand in lines and not going on actual ride

mediocre rides at best.

As has been said before in other reviews long waits for rides with minimal fun at the end, 45 minutes for 2 minutes ride... we had the fish and chips at the restaurant near the mythical creatures section. my advice, avoid like it had corona virus. the fish was tasteless, it had the flavour of water. the chips were big but not so many of them for £13.75 a portion, my advice take your own food and have a picnic there. Legoland is not owned or run by lego so dont expect any bargain prices for lego, in fact the opposite. not the happiest of days out, for me, but my daughter thought it was fun.

Big queues

This was our first visit, and everything is so clean and tidy, and lots of toilets around that's the positive part. You can buy fast track at £90 each or buy something else I think where you pre book so unless you have to queue for about 50mins to 60 minutes for most rides. We arrived at about 11am because of traffic on the way so 11am to 4pm when we had had enough that's 5 hours take away lunch so a maximum of 5 rides for around £100 for three of us. You queue for everything, food and rides. It's quite clear they try and get every penny out of you I mean £8 for 5 donuts 🍩. We're glad we went but I would go in school time to maximise the visit.

Expensive, tired-looking, unfriendly and uninspiring

We love Lego and we love Legoland. We've been at least 10 times (maybe as many as 20) over the last 10 years and it has a really special place in our hearts. Which is why, when I write this, my motivation is not to criticise but to help recapture the magic it's lost. At the time of writing, it would cost 2 adults and 2 kids £156 to enter the park on a Saturday in June when booking in advance online. That is a lot. But you do get access to a lot of rides for that admission fee. However, on a busy Saturday, expect the waiting times to be at least an hour for the big names like Flight of the Sky Lion, Minifigure Speedway, The Dragon or Ninjago. Getting on all 4 of these will use half of your day (the majority of which will be spent queueing). A tip is to arrive at least 30 minutes before opening so you can make your way down to gates in the heart of the park and get to one of the big rides first. We did that with Ninjago and were in and out within 20 minutes (the other half of our group did the same with Flight of the Sky Lion and were in and out in half an hour). Once 11am rolls around, the wait times are much longer. You could, at this point (as we did) buy fast passes (they call them "Reserve and Ride") but be ready for huge expense, baffling technology and, frankly, the wait times not being as short as you would like for the money! My 7 year old son and I broke off the main group and bought 2 passes for Tomb Blaster costing £20. We arrived there, found the R&R entrance and were immediately met with a static, much bigger than expected queue! We waited in this queue for about 10 minutes, only to be let in to join the last section of the regular queue for a further wait of 10-15 minutes! So a minimum 20-25 minute wait for what is advertised as "Near instant access" on the Reserve and Ride website? Not good enough in my opinion. To be fair, the passes we bought for The Dragon and Minifigure Speedway were more effective and the wait time was well under 10 minutes in both cases. The lesson here is that when they say, "near instant access" to a ride, what they mean is that your pass will entitle you to immediate access but the physical reality of the queue and its logistics might mean otherwise. All that said, the biggest let down of the day was the attitude of the staff. It's rare to see such consistent dead-eyed apathy in the faces of so many people. They have the cheek to call the staff "Cast Members" – cast members? Like they are in a film? "Shaun of the Dead" springs to mind. There is a really serious attitude and morale problem there and it's not an overnight fix – to me, that is the biggest threat to the continued success of the park. And finally, the last issue is just how tired and dirty the place is. Every single lego brick in Miniland and, in particular, on Fairytale Brook needs scrubbing or replacing. On a previous visit (November 2023), Fairytale Brook was closed for maintenance which was a disappointment at the time but we collectively said it was long over due and thought we'd return this summer to enjoy a revamped and renewed experience – er, no, not one bit of effort had been made to clean any of the installations. It was a disgrace. Legoland, this is an impassioned plea for you to do better than this. I am happy to be contacted directly to discuss this further if needs be.

Not worth it !

Overpriced , the que is massive on attractions ! Not worth to spend this amount of money to wait 40 min in a que for 1 minute of fun ! Plus you have to pay for parking aswell wich is 8£ online and 10£ at the ticket office !

Amazing

Amazing! We all loved it! So much to see and do, if want to be able to experience all rides would suggest doing 2 days as wait times were long for certain attractions (to be expected) Well worth downloading the app for your visit. Well thought out with plenty of drink refill stations, suncream dispensers and even smaller toilets seats for little ones!

Traumatised at an amusement park???

I can honestly say I expected an average day out and I was still disappointed. I expected all the food and drinks to be expensive, which they were. I expected there to be long queues for everything, which they were. This was made a lot worse by the fact that a lot of rides were closed so queues for everything else were that much longer. I think, considering the cost of tickets and the amount of money we spent throughout the park, the fact that we had to pay £10 to park for the day is an absolute joke. The worst part about my experience actually comes in the form of a horror story. On Saturday 08/06/24 at roughly 1pm myself, my family and dozens of other families witnessed the death of a baby goose at the Coastguard HQ ride that I believe to the fault of completely incompetent staff. Several members of staff were warned that there was a baby goose alongside its family in the middle of the ride and that it needed to be moved before coming to harm. I overheard a member of staff mentioning that they had been moved several times in the past but always seemed to come back. Within seconds of this conversation the baby goose was crushed between a boat and the bank of the river and was killed. Not only was this traumatic for all to witness (believe me there were a lot of tears) but several boats filled with families were forced sail past this now deceased animal with its innards trailing in the water behind it. I can’t fathom for a second why on earth nothing was done the second these animals were spotted in the middle of the ride. I, and I’m sure many others, would have rather the ride had been shut down to ensure the safety of the animals rather than having to witness something such as this. I’m sure it wouldn’t have taken long to get them moved to then reopen the ride once they had been. All in all I was left with an extremely bitter taste in my mouth and can promise my family and I won’t be returning.

Overnight stay

We really enjoyed ourselves! The resort is very clean, the staff are friendly snd helpful, queues move quick. We stayed over at the Castle hotel and the room was magical! The kids absolutely loved it! They had to solve a puzzle to get a gift from the safe and they got a lego branded towel, small lego toy, magazine and a lanyard! Food at the bricks restaurant was nice too. All in all we had a great 24hrs.

Totally spoiled by wait times and unfair reserve and ride

I have to say we did like some parts of Legoland. The Lego sculptures are impressive, it’s nice to walk around, it’s very clean and well kept, and it’s a good size so there’s plenty to do. HOWEVER. …Plenty to do if you aren’t standing in a queue. Absolutely agree with what so many have written about queue times. Legoland boasts 55 rides, of our full 8 hour visit today (10-6) we managed 5. Unacceptably poor. The laser ride stated 35min wait on the app… actual wait time was over an hour and a half. Staff seemed unbothered, no urgency, moved at a snails pace at best. No apology or ‘thanks for waiting’. Most of our day was totally wasted standing in queues. PLEASE also scrap the reserve and ride. It’s unbelievably unfair and frustrating. We have all paid our money to be there, nobody has more right than anybody else to skip queues because they’ve got a few extra quid. I could have cried standing in the hour+ queues, watching reserve and ride people just walk in front of us. Will also mention the pizza and pasta all you can eat, £21 for adult, £12 for kids. Good pizza but couldn’t believe there was no desert included?! Not even some ice creams to choose from…but I guess that’ll be because Legoland will want you to buy a £5 ice cream instead ;) Last thing, when we left there was, you guessed it, a queue for the Lego shop. Didn’t go in because I actually think I’d throw myself off a cliff if I even spent another 30 seconds in a queue but guessing from the price of everything else it would be extortionately priced. Wouldn’t go again purely based on the horrific wait times.

Unhappy Day trip to Legoland

Really looking forward to our day visit to Legoland, as it was a birthday treat for my 30 year daughter who has always been Lego mad. Deeply disappointed. Very tired Miniland models especially water based one very tired dirty lifeboat - sad. Many of the food outlets closed and ambient sound localised and very load instead of a low level cross the park eventually only had Burger available. We expect it to be more costly but it was excessive at £67 for 4 adult and a baby and it was luke warm /cold. The place was understaffed and the rides took much longer than the rides presented. However the day was slightly recovered by the staff who,whilst being limit where very pleasant, happy and supportive and helpful when we came across them. Fortunately we had Sky Tickets rather than full cost tickets, otherwise we would have been very unhappy about the visit.

Fun day out

As theme parks go, it's comparable with most I've been to in the UK. We went on a weekday day in term time (our son is 4) so although it was busy it wasn't overcrowded. Boy would I not want to go when it's much busier though! I've rated it 4 startslls because we all had such a fun day out, but it's not without its gripes. Firstly, as other reviews have mentioned, the wait times are very inaccurate. Sometimes it took less, sometimes more, but rarely accurate! It can't be that difficult can it? Secondly, the fast track tickets. It wasn't too bad when we went but how can you justify offering a premium ticket that actually makes the experience WORSE for everyone else? You're already in a long, slow queue and then some fast trackers turn up and you're delayed even further. I can't think of any comparable situation where "regular" customers are literally penalised because some people choose to / can afford to pay more. PLEASE STOP THIS NONSENSE!

If you like queuing, this one's for you!

Ok where do I start... The park is nice and clean. Some of the rides/attractions are a bit tired and dated now, but probably to be expected. Everything is overpriced, the queues are the killer for me. The kids spent more time being bored than having fun. That should not be the case for a theme park! Booking time slots, fast pass, etc, all amounts to Stupidly long queing times. In 4 hours we'd been 3 of the bigger rides, with very few gaps in-between rides. Anyway, I'm sure you'll have a great time.

Overpriced, over crowded waste of time

Far too crowded, spent whole day with 2 & 4 year old (paid £36 each plus same two adults and parking extra) and only managed 3 small rides as queues so long and most with 1 staff member having to do everything so not efficient to get through queue either. Shorter queues were 40 mins and 2 minute ride. Had more fun looking at the open air items but all rather tatty. Never going again, avoid!

Overpriced, tatty and worn out

We had high hopes and were looking forward to this trip with a 5 year old. Although there were lots of rides they were all looking very tired and in need of a good clean / Maintenance. You could see old broken down carts etc… All the Lego models were also very dirty especially the little towns. All the grounds again were in need of a good weed / spruce up. All in all it could look and feel so much better especially with the high costs. Recent trip to Paultons Park shows you what a theme park should look like. It was beautiful, in full summer bloom. Also please do not buy food… £54 for the pizza pasta buffet for 2 adults and 1 child! Horrific. Found staff also rather rude. Especially a lady working on the children’s driving license ride. She was shouting at parents and children. Awful behaviour

PLEASE DON’T GO!

Please please PLEASE don’t bother! Agree with ALL of the negative reviews here. The kids and I were so looking forward to coming but as others have pointed out, it was over crowded, queues just insane (70mins per ride) and zero staff around. We managed 2 rides on the entire day; and one was a carousel.. we could have gone to the fair and had a better time and saved hundreds of pounds. I wish I had read the reviews before going. The kids were so disappointed and I have been ripped off. We actually drove into Windsor afterwards and saw a lone ferris wheel, which my kids mistook for the London Eye. I didn’t correct them, didn’t queue, paid 15 quid to get on and it was the highlight of their (and my day). So if you’re reading this and considering going, save yourself a massive migraine, a wad load of cash, and have a nice day out in Windsor instead looking at the castle, having lunch and going on the Ferris wheel.

Money grabbing, inefficient, tired and overfilled theme park with poor rides and appalling overpriced food - DONT BOTHER

I needn’t bother explaining all the faults as so many other people have done it. Just dont go… and if you do park- near the exit. We took one and a half hours to exit car park D not a single person from Legoland in sight to help. Thoroughly recommend Paultons Park - really exciting rides, immaculate gardens, amazing food and people who care! Peppa Pig for kids and masses for older kids too. I have never, ever had such a disappointing day out as we did at Legoland. NEVER AGAIN! You should be utterly ashamed of yourselves.

Not value for money

Can’t help feeling that they have big problems here. The infrastructure is looking very tired in places and very grubby in others. The main problem though is the management of the staff. Although the park was fully booked on the day of our visit, the waiting time for rides and attractions were unacceptable due to the general disorganisation and lack of urgency. A lot of effort was put in to keep everything tidy and litter free but day to day maintenance and cleaning was evidently lacking. Catering was unattractive and only offered junk food. Overall very poor value for money and they even have the gall to charge for parking.

AVOID!

Awful experience. Unless you enjoy queuing for over 70/80 minutes for a 2 minute ride. We decided to book a day visit for my special needs son for his 7th birthday, we booked Monday 3rd June assuming it would be a relatively quiet day as half term was over. We were wrong. We queued for an hour to get into the car park, queued 40 minutes to get our bags checked and when we finally got to the front I was informed I had to join another queue to get my carers ticket (complete lack of information on this!!) Finally got in, to be told to queue up to get my son’s Ride Access Pass Card. So we arrived at 10:38 and we finally got into the park at 12:21. Yeah. Absolutely ridiculous. The concept of making those with disabilities queue up to get help with their disabilities is absolutely ridiculous. Especially as you have many people who struggle to queue! Wanna know how good the Ride Access Pass is? We got on 2 rides. 2. The whole day. It was horrendous. 70+ minute waits for a ride that lasts 2 minutes. Can’t use RAP pass unless you wait up to 1hr after the one you’ve just used. Couldn’t use it anyway as most rides were “full” so unless you pay £100pp for the “fast pass” you wouldn’t be getting on anything. We hadn’t planned lunch as we stupidly assumed it would be a quiet day so plenty of food options! Nope! Burger Kitchen was shut, £22 for the most underwhelming pizza & pasta which was completely tasteless and the drinks machines had ran out…. It’s pretty obvious they’re out to just take as much money as possible without giving a damn about their customers. It says something when the car park area is bigger than the park itself! (Expect to walk for around 30 minutes to get from the car park to the entrance!) overcrowded, overwhelming (even for those that don’t suffer with any mental or physical disabilities) I myself struggled, not only did I spend the whole day trying to calm my child after being told he can’t go on anything (the parents with special needs children will understand how impossible that is in any environment let alone an extremely busy theme park) but I had to also calm myself down because you couldn’t even walk as there was just so many people. RIDE ACCESS PASS INFO. Pre - Book. PRE - BOOK a few weeks before you go. Unfortunately quite a few people in the queue to get our pass(the card) for my son, many were turned away and told they should have pre - booked their RAP before coming. So many either had to pay or left feeling utterly helpless when they couldn’t use what should be there to help those in need. The 2 rides that were 15 minutes (the Haunted House) broke down every single time we queued. Wait times on the board were wrong most of the time. Flight of the Sky Lion said 70 minutes, nope more like 1hr 30! In my honest opinion DON’T BOTHER! Take your kids to the local park, where they’ll have fun and it won’t cost you £££! Never Again! I’m actually mentally scarred from today!

Spent all day queuing!!!!!

We took our two boys age 7 and 10 for a family day out,it took us at least half an hour to park so we knew we were in for a busy day but it was ridiculous. We queued up for the dragon ride for our first ride which was at least an hours wait and was over in one minute, we then queued for our second ride which was another hours wait after waiting half hour the ride then broke so everybody had to leave, by this time my boys had already had enough and I was doing the maths that we would que for about 6 hours through the day for six rides approx one minute per ride, that's 6 minutes of fun for 6 hours. We walked about for a bit looking at the lego village, then went to buy the boys a drink to cheer then up, a bottle of coke was £3.25 we declined laughed and then left, I don't think we'll ever return, the sad thing is we're in a hotel with a second day free at legoland our boys want to go to windors instead and go swimming somewhere.

AVOID - SAVE YOUR MONEY

The best part of our Legoland trip was staying at The Coppid Beech Hotel - which was great! Legoland itself is awful. Money grabbing, greedy owners. There were minimal staff and it is rundown, with ridiculous queue times, for such young children, of over an hour for a 2 min ride. We thought going on a random Monday we might avoid the crowds but sadly, no. Toilets (when you could find them) smelt awful and were quite frankly disgusting. We didn't eat here because by lunchtime we'd had enough and left. A lot of money spent (over £350) for half a day out and 4 rides (all of which were baby ones that had slightly smaller queues that we could tolerate). Two very disappointed kids (and adults!). Legoland you should be thoroughly ashamed. I would suggest you stop grabbing money and instead let a reasonable amount of people in, so they can actually enjoy themselves. Oh and the queue jumping option is ridiculous, they add to the already intolerable queues. Honestly, save your money - and your sanity.

A good day out if you use reserve and ride

Overall we had a fun day out. We paid extra for reserve and ride, which was definitely worth it as the queues were insane. Do be aware though that you still do a fair amount of queueing even with reserve and ride, as for some rides (e.g. Ninjago) it doesn't take you to the front. If you're not using reserve and ride I'd recommend focusing on some of the non-ride stuff (e.g. the splash park, the Duplo theatre) as these were very good. A bit of feedback for Legoland for things that would have made our day better: 1) Better pieces in the Ferrari build section. There was a real lack of obvious pieces (e.g. wheels!). There were instructions up which were impossible to follow given the pieces available, which really upset one of my sons. 2) It wasn't always obvious where to go with the reserve and ride ( fairy tale brook in particular).

Too long waiting around

Really disappointed that the waiting times were so long at the rides. I was in agony with my back waiting for over an hour for nearly everything you chose. The rides were also short. Every time you got close to the front of the queue the people who had paid an extra £10 per person per ride got in the front slowing the queuing even further. The ticket price did not represent value for money and I would not return. The only bit the boys really enjoyed was the drench towers so if you’re going I recommend taking swimming costumes and towels. No waiting here.

Be prepared to queue for most of the trip

Very disappointed - inefficiency means very long queues. We spent hours queuing due to the very long turn around between rides. Not enough staff and the ones there just looked bored Soulless

Disappointed

We had a family day yesterday here. We knew it would be busy but we were excited. The rides were good, the weather was lovely and overall the kids enjoyed it. Unfortunately after paying to gain entry, then parking and waiting over an hour for most rides and half an hour for drinks we were left feeling disappointed and let down. It felt like we had been herded into a busy theme park and had to wait while those who paid extra for ride passes held the lines up even longer. I felt like the park was all about money and not about the experience of it's target audience. Sad times and it's not somewhere we will visit again.

Disappointed

We were really disappointed with the Theme Park. We visited at half term so expected it would be busy but it was ridiculous. The estimated wait times were significantly adrift - Ninjago said 40 minutes and yet it was 100 and the ride didn’t even work properly when we finally got on. We were there for the full day and only managed 7 rides. We have been to 4 Legoland theme parks whilst on holidays and always had a great time. This is the only one we wouldn’t return to.

Had express reserve and ride well worth it

Brilliant day with my 10 Yr old son. Absolutely loved it - perfect age for the rides, easy to get in and get around the park and the app was extremely useful 👍

Wouldn’t Recommend

My son desperately wanted to visit Legoland so we decided to take him as a special treat during half term. We were there from 10-6, and we got on a total of 8 rides. The approximate queue times were way off! Ninjago ride said 45 minutes, we were 1hr 20 (that was the theme of the day)! We had no time in the splash park as we just could not fit it in. We ate lunch standing in a queue to save time. If you are able, I would take lunch with you. The food queues were very long and it’s expensive. Also worth noting that there are free water stations dotted around so you are able to refill bottles. I just felt like everything was designed to rip you off, three scoops of ice cream £15, lanyard for passing your driving test on the driving ride £13, extra money for fast track passes, they even charge £10 to park which is a disgrace when you have no option! Would I return? No, not unless I could go in term time when maybe the queues aren’t as bad. Or I could afford the £100pp fast track pass to get on the rides. Neither of these things are likely to happen any time soon!

Great place to go

Always live coming to legoland pleasant and great place to go staff very helpful and tried thr golf for thr first time and enjoyed it .

Fun day out but be prepared to queue

Visited over half term on a Saturday, expected it to be busy which it was. They let everyone into the park at 9:30 but then wouldn’t let you into the ride areas till 10 which was annoying. Be prepared to queue all day even for the smaller rides, the longest we queued was an hour for Sky Lion. The app queue times are not accurate. Take a picnic, as the food is expensive, we ate ours on the go in queues just as the kids like to snack all day! But I did see picnic benches dotted about. We found the staff cheerful and spoke to our boys nicely, especially in the build areas. We didn’t get on all the rides in a day as the queue lengths were so long. We paid £17.50 per person but if we’d paid full price I would have been disappointed! The reserve and ride obviously makes the queue time’s longer for everyone else when they fill up half the ride with these guests. I wouldn’t pay it, it would make a family day out over £200! I think legoland need to look at their pricing and queue times. To limit the amount of people allowed in the park and the number that buy the reserve and rides. I’m sure they would then receive more positive reviews and everyone would have a better day out!

Too busy, over priced

We booked a day trip with our 4 nearly 5 year old and upgraded to the cheapest skip the queue reserve and ride option at another £35 each!!! However we still had to queue even with this as it was just too busy! I don't think you would even need this if they got people on the rides quicker! It was incredibly slow on some rides!! Food and drinks are so over priced and to be honest the park wasn't as good as we thought it would be! Couldn't get on most rides as they were fully booked but you could pay an extra £12 per person per ride to get on!! Absolute money making scheme and we won't be going back anytime soon!!

So disappointed - poor communication in advance

So much has changed in 4years and with no obvious warning on website although I was quoted more than twice that it's in the Ts and Cs. Goes to show that this must be a regular observation. To start, we have disabled Access pass need. Having booked the Ride Access Pass with all the correct proof of qualification I received the email to take to the RAP desk. Having queued for 20mins to get to the counter we were then asked had we rebooked the day with the RAP - ummm no. Seems you have to do this using the barcode number in the email telling you to go to the desk, before you even get to legoland or you could be turned away. Imagine that after a 2hr drive to get there. This was not at all clear and is CHANGE 1 from previous visit. Apparently it's in the Ts and Cs. Staff member at kiosk was great and resolved the issue helping do all the registering and logging in palaver. Next as we walked son the hill we find Star Wars is not there anymore CHANGE 2. Apparently gone since 2020 due to licensing and Disney. Also couldn't see the modellers in action either CHANGE 3. Onwards to the floaty rapid ride, that always a good one. Not open. CHANGE 3. (Nor was underwater submarine CHANGE 4.) Ok Ninjago laser hand karate chop zappy shoot ride. Fast pass or disabled access is now just called RAP access and is not exclusive to disabled guests. (Not sure it ever was tbh, but it was very busy) At the top no member of staff to filter us into main queue so we ended up among everyone - in other words a long standing wait. Shame, but did set the scene for rest of the day. Fish/sausage and chips for lunch £50 for 4 of us. Just to let you know so you are forewarned that food prices may shock you otherwise. Finally then as we drive from disabled car park we were stung with a £10fee to leave the site. Never paid before so the last and final straw - CHANGE 5. Make it obvious on your website, the map app, the booking app or at least a clear notice board at the entrance with what rides are not open folks and you'll go some way to retain customer loyalty.

Avoid.

Hmm. Don’t go theirs poor all round. Theirs so much better other places to go for value for money for example pepper pig world way more enjoyable. The resort in my opinion Badly set out . Rude operators , there was clearly someone who could not speak English on the pirate boat ride who had their phone out you made the ride stop and through them off. They clearly had no idea they was being spoken to. Was unnecessary. The operators on the speed race roller coaster seemed to be the only operators who were sufficient in checking and alowed the ride to move at a good pace every where else was painful which leads to unnecessary delays in lines ect. 70 minute waits is crazy let alone that it’s actually 140 min wait. I paid £85 for food , few chicken strip kids means and a burger meal for it so be served cold and in a completely dirty restaurant no staff wiping tables. One condiment section in the whole restaurant that you have to wait in line for ha what a joke. It seems they just let People buy tickets for the resort without a cap because I’ve been everywhere and have never seen such a cramped over sold yeh it’s school term but that’s doesn’t make any excuses. Ride times are invalid and not worth putting on they are double food is absolutely a joke in price service and hygiene. At the end the gift shop are always expensive this is part and parcel but the sheer amount of people they let into the shop at once surely had to be some sort of health and safety issue. Kids were getting banged left right and centre. Now ok prices are prices but the packaging on certain items is miss leading my son thought was buying mini figure heads ( so did we ) something like £18 when we go home and he opened it , it was a puzzle. Absolutely disgusting is clearly misleading on purpose. Yeh right it does say puzzle on the box in much smaller writing but that’s shocking again. No one in their mine is spending £18 on a puzzle ! Tbh I could go on all day about so much different things but the final last straw was when we was leaving. We arrived fine parked up was excited to to head in and that’s what we did two adults 4 children 2 vehicles. On leaving their was a massive line as usual as we got closer I noticed barriers going up and down I absolutely thought nothing of it so when I go to the front I just looked at the lady as I waited for her to open the barrier and she looked at me saying please pay so I can let you out. I couldn’t believe it they ( tried ) to charge us £10 per vehicle for parking to leave. saying that is does say it on a sign on your entry to the park hahaha what a joke money grabbers. Of course with disgust I refused and then I was eventually let through. Don’t pay this what a joke! In all you can get so much more else where in all aspects super shocked and a massive let down. Avoid.

Don't waste your money.

Run down, rude staff and overpriced.. The only saving grace was the parking. The food was dreadful, the staff when asking on how the app would work they told me I need to speak to someone in the restaurant. Most of the rides where closed or broken down. And the food was shockingly bad. Will not return

Ride Access Card not very good.

Ride Access Pass is a bit of a joke, used on the first ride then had to wait 33 minutes to use for the next ride, then on next time it was 1 hour 33 minutes, we were only able to use it on 3 rides the whole day there!!! We had to use the normal queues for other ride but with 2 neuro diverse children playing up in the queues because we couldn't book another ride and everyone staring and judging is not good. Wouldn't recommend legoland for anyone with access card with their new system.
