More than just a ride

Amazing experience! More than just a hot air balloon ride - we got an insight into how take off and landing sites are chosen, inflating the balloon and even helped pack it away after the ride. Our pilot Dan was really friendly and happy to share his knowledge. Highly recommended!!!

There were many memorable moments throughout the trip, from the beautiful sunrise to the stunning movements that Nick manoeuvred us through. However what was most memorable for me was the perfect landing, not a bump or a skip!

Perfect ballooning weather.

Perfect day with an awesome sunrise. Floating through the Serene silent air with the occasional blast of flames to keep us afloat ( and warm) soaring like an eagle to over 6000feet. The land was so patched with many dry dams. Of course we had to help pack up the balloon as prewarned. Great time to celebrate my Birthday. Thanks guys for the experience.

Unreal experience - bucket list experience for sure

This was one of the best things we have ever done. I took my mum up for her 83 birthday surprise and she absolutely loved it! Something that should be on everyone's bucket list that's for sure. The team at Liberty were so professional and the experience was so well organised which made for a great time. From the minute we arrived for our briefing to the moment we finished the farmhouse breakfast, we felt so at ease and comfortable. Definitely not as scary as we thought it would be, in fact it was so gentle and peaceful it was definitely next level.

Hot Air Balloon experience

The ballooning experience was amazing and we were celebrating my daughter’s 30th. The aeronautic staff were awesome. The food included after in Dome was VERY average and they did not offer much of a selection for a celiac (my daughter). Maybe the buffet is not a great idea. Overall great and would go with Liberty again. Natalie

What an amazing adventure. The team was really professional, helpful and kept us informed. Watching them co-ordinate the show was reassuring and entertaining. Getting up in the air was a feeling like no other, so gentle and free. We had a nice safe landing too.

Pilot Pete was ace!

Pilot Pete and Thor were incredible. Pete is obviously very 4 and loves what he does and is very knowledgeable to all things ballooning and happy to answer any questions. He kept us all engaged with his jokes and banter. The sunrise balloon trip itself was absolutely beautiful and I would highly recommend anyone using Liberty on their trip. The whole experience was very comfortable and I felt completely safe in Pete's hands. 10/10 highly recommend.

Amazing and incredible

The initial take off was leg shaking but I didn’t realise there was so much control in the flight path. Flying over the town and through the trees was in credible. Totally lived the whole thing.

It was an amazing experience, done with a very professional company. Views were absolutely amazing! Instructions from the company prior to the event was very clear, never any doubt about where to be or what to bring. Breakfast afterward just hit the spot!

Fantastic experience with Liberty Balloon Flights

It was an amazing experience, run by true professionals. The view as the balloon rose above the clouds was fantastic. Instructions prior to the event (where to go, how to get there, what to bring) was very clear. The Liberty Balloon Flights crew created a very friendly, welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. The pilot was great, ground crew too. Overall a very highly recommended experience, with a very highly recommended company.

The ballon captain handled the ride well and safely. Involvement of the setting up and deflating of the ballon was interesting and tiring at the same time. Overall very good experience

An amazing experience

Amazing experience & want to again in Winter. Very professional throughout from assembling in Northam (inside a Cafe at 4.45am), transport to the launch site, the balloon assembly & floatation, getting in the balloon (we were max of 24 guests), the take off & flight, the very gentle upright landing in a field, the combined packing up of tge balloon, the trip back into Northam & the sensational full brekky at the cafe. Plenty of free car parks at assembly point. Staff very professional & made everybody at ease pre-flight. Helped people into the basket - a bit of an effort for people with less mobility. Flight was amazing - windless, the sound of the burners, the views, tge feeling of floating. Will hopefully get to do again in winter when the fields are cropped, & the colourful canola although weather is not so king (colder & wetter).

Great morning out!

This was my husband's 50 celebration - and as a family we love doing experiences, it was time to go Balooning! Thanks for the personal touch from male 'choir' team ;) Fantastic morning, despite freezing to start off with, we then warmed up really well with the fire as we flew into sunrise and over the picturesque alley - Nick was our fun pilot, and all together great team both pilots and on the ground! p.s. not for media/promotions use without permission.

A great experience

A great experience floating through the air as the sun peaks over the horizon. We stayed at The Farmers Home hotel which made for an easy meet up at the Dome downstairs. Thanks Liberty Ballon Flights for a seamless experience. Would recommend.

Hot air ballooning over the Avon

The pilot Peter and the crew were professional, informative and gave very clear instructions. The setting up and packing up of the balloon was interesting and involving. The flight was so incredible from the smooth takeoff, beautiful sunrise and breathtaking views. Peter showed us more of his outstanding skill in landing us on the Northam airstrip! A wonderful experience.
