Disappointing

Having visited many Hard Rock Cafes in many countries, the service sadly did not meet the level experienced in other outlets. Vienna is packed with restaurants and other eating places and the standard of service in this city is very high. The staff were rushed, maybe lacking experience or just overloaded, and left us too long. When it arrived the food was OK. The venue was also hot & stuffy, insufficient air-con? It won't put us off visiting Hard Rock again, hopefully Hard Rock will take this review as constructive feedback and use to improve their service?

Friendly waiter Robert and great burgers

We went for a lunch in Hard Rock Cafe in Vienna. Portions are huge, but very delicious. I would like to point out that there was a great waiter Robert, who was very friendly and polite. He had helped us a lot with our selection for meals and we enjoyed the whole experience because of his extra effort!

Delicious but expensive

Extremely kind staff that answers everything and you get your own waiter/waitress. The food and drinks were delicious, but very expensive.

Great Place with Great employees.

Iggy was the best!! His coffee, dessert serving and chat was out of this world!!! That guy makes this place even better.

Delicious food and amazing service

"The burgers were one of the best I had in Vienna, the fries as well, and don't give up the brownie!! The staff was kind, nice, caring and very friendly. Hanna was our waiter and she was lovely and professional. Will come again for sure

Not the first time here, but not the last I’m sure! :) On a busy sunday evening the food and the staff are not late. They know what the hospitality means: Peter, Iggy and the manager lady (I don’t remember her name but skinny tall veeery kind lady :) ) made our evening great! They were attentive, happy, friendly, fast but caring at the same time. Thank you for everything guys, you made a really good service!

Bad Timing

Staff and food was really great, but unfortunately we were there at the World Cup finals, and it was quite loud.

Hard Rock in Vienna... Good times

Had a good time. It was a fun atmosphere. My server, Eszter, was very friendly and welcoming. Would eat there again!

This is our second visit in the space of 4 days. The service is top and the food is tasty. Special mention to Sude for looking after us. She is an asset to the hard rock team! A must visit while you are in Vienna.

EXCELLENT !

We came for my boyfriends birthday. We booked a table and our waitress Sude went above and beyond to look after us for this special occasion. The food was excellent as were the drinks! The place is lovely with a great atmosphere. Overall it was excellent!

Disappointed

I visited Hardrock cafes all over the world, from Barcelona, Dubai to Argentina. Vienna was the worst one. The receptionist refused us despite enough places. It was even not crowded.

Best waiter ever

We tried some Hard Rock Cafes in Europe and we loved them - Vienna is one if the best. Great food, kind service. Ignac was our waiter, we really loved him!

Brilliant fun and lovely burgers

Exceptional service and good food. We loved seeing the cool rock memorabilia and taking a look around the shop. The staff made my wifes 40th birthday really special by singing Happy Birthday at full volume!

Had the BEST time, well worth your time & money!

Me and my mum visited Vienna for the first time to celebrate my 25th birthday in the middle of November. On the evening of my birthday (tired after all our sightseeing), we weren't entirely sure where to go for food, even though we were close to the city centre. After a quick online search, we realised Vienna had a Hard Rock Cafe and that seemed like a nice birthday option (price wise, food wise etc), plus they always seem to have a fun atmosphere. We booked online instantly and it was pretty close to where we were staying. From the minute we entered the place, we were welcomed and I'll definitely say made to feel special. Granted, it was my birthday BUT I have a feeling they are like that anyway. BJ was the first person we were greeted by as the host and what can I say? He was absolutely fantastic. Energetic, armed with his smiles and laughter, it was an absolute pleasure to have met him. We had a lovely little table upstairs, the food was very yummy (I had a burger, my mum the chicken) and our waiter Evol was very attentive and was clearly a genuinely lovely guy. They obviously took note that it was my birthday as they gave me a free dessert and rallied round a few people to sing to me! We had such a nice time that we ended up going downstairs after our meal to sit and have a few drinks. We took a few photos with some of the amazing staff we ended up talking to (one attached here - BJ! ) and honestly I had never felt so welcomed somewhere. That is 100% down to the staff they have. It's clear that they enjoy what they do and each other's company. The whole vibe made me want to work there! This is my first trip advisor review so that's saying something. We gave all of this feedback to them that night and actually agreed to come back the night after for food and drinks. We did so and had a lovely time. Thank you HRCV for making my birthday so special. Your customer service was exceptional. hopefully we will be back in Vienna in the future. If we are, we'd certainly come back to you!

Great Service!

Traveling with friends and we stopped in for drinks and a quick bite. The experience was great! Really enjoyed the food, and service at the bar with Aaron(?) was so much fun! He's funny, has great stories, and made delicious drinks. Overall, we all had a really good time!

Omg let me tell you- the food was good, but what made the experience AMAZING was Aaron! He told us we could call him A-A-Ron and we all died laughing. He was so personable and attentive. Definitely had a great time, and food came out so quickly. 10/10 exceptional customer service. I definitely recommend and will be back.

Dining and bar

I had an incredible experience. A little home away from home away from home was a pleasant respite from touring around Austria. I was particularly delighted by the bar service. Aaron Meekins served myself and my friends very well. He was pleasant and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed his friendly attitude and storytelling. The staff as a whole were also very professional. Service was great all around.

Excellent Service at HRC Vienna

A really friendly and super efficient team here. We were served by Javier who made our HRC experience come alive. It was our 53rd different HRC visit. The Manager came out to see us (and many other tables). A great show guys not to mention the good and drinks. Thank you.

Great meal

Very good host/waiter, he was very attentive and served us very quickly. Food was delicious, I would recommend the burger.

Good Value

The building wasn't one of the nicest Hard Rocks we've been in but the food as always was good. We selected the two course pre-paid option with free soft drink. The choice on the menu was ok....burgers, chicken tenders, etc and it also catered for the vegetarian in the party with a plant based burger. The dessert option was limited to just a brownie though. All in all, a good experience and recommended for the ££.

The place is in a great location in the middle of Vienna, cozy and recommended for an enjoyable down town experience, the service staff is exceptional, especially Peter who gave us a very high level of service and made our night with his extremely friendly interactions.

Best food as always

Friendly staff, cold beer, best music. Choice of local beers, perfect tap Guinness, tasty food and large portions. What else to say?

Hard roock Cafe food

Good food.... Can't beat the full rack of ribs... Staff very helpful... We booked prior to going to make sure we got a seat In the restraunt... Good service all round.. Reasonable prices.. Couldn't eat another thing after the ribs😂... 5 min walk from St. Stephen's Cathedral.... 10 out of 10..... Nice nachos

cool hard rock

ive been to hard rock lives all over the world. this is a really cool one. The location is perfect in vienna. Food was phenomenal and the service were on point. Highly reccomend visiting

Like always hard rock cafe doesnt let you down

We went with my wife and son, who is not 1 yet and the whole experience was very nice. Food was undeniably as good as always nothing to say there, big portions and leaving like always with full belly. Service was also realy nice and friendly :)

City tour

Spent couple of days in Wienna and visited HRC in Vieanna. Wide sort of food and drink. Desserts are fabulous.

Enjoyable atmosphere and food

Ate here while on a recent visit to vienna. Wait time was Bout 30 mins, no hardship, as we had a drink at the bar. Paid the barmen for these drinks and he never brought ohr change. Cheeky!!! As a result we left a smaller tip than usual when paying the food bill! Food was lovely.

Great as per usual for HRC

Great service - the burger came out uncooked in the middle and they were mortified even though it wasn’t a huge deal to cook some more. Really friendly staff and the food was up to HRC standards.

Was a very nice afternoon

Hard Rock Café is known worldwide: pretty solid food, everything is nicely decorated, service is friendly. I enjoyed being here, I felt comfortable here with my friends.

I alternate

We went to this place for a quick lunch during our tour. We opted for the specialty of the day which was frankfurters and sausage with potatoes and it wasn't bad, in fact perhaps it was the only thing at an affordable price, at least by our standards. We ate outside, but the restaurant was also very nice inside, although not too large compared to others of the same chain in other locations. Present and friendly service. There is always security when you don't know where to go.

Tolles Ambiente, leckere Speisen und professionelles Personal!

Wir saßen bei schönem Wetter in der Seitengasse, das Restaurant war sehr gut besucht. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam, flink und zuvorkommend, nah an den Gästen dran! Hatten einen sehr freundlichen und kompetenten Kellner, mit Namen Peter Z. Er bediente uns den ganzen Abend. Es hat Spaß gemacht dort zu speisen, kommen gerne wieder, wenn wir in Wien sind.
