A wonderful option to see music while in Vienna!

It was a very intimate experience with fantastically talented musicians. The performance was exceptional. The venue is entrenched in musical history, beautifully decorated in baroque style, and located right in the heart of the city!

Amazing concert! The string quartet was wonderful and the Mozarthaus where it was held was stunning! Highly recommend!

Just the right amount of classical music

We aren't classical music fans but when in vienna... So we booked this concert and we were very happy. The performers were great and there were short introductions to the pieces and an intermission. Enjoy this music driven performance in an intimate setting

Lovely Concert in the City of Classical Music

Excellent concert in beautiful venue. Arrive about 15 minutes early to convert your online ticket to a paper ticket. There's a table set up outside the venue. Don't miss the courtyard during intermission where you can purchase sparkling wine, beer, etc.

My family enjoyed the concert immensely. There were drinks offered during intermission, but cost extra. For the price of the concert, I think they could have offered complimentary beverages.

Magical Mozart

Very much enjoyed this concert. We also attended one of the other larger Mozart concerts and this one was by far my favourite. The venue is smaller, beautifully painted and intimate with the musicians close to the audience making it a much more personal experience. I felt as though the setting was more authentic than a larger concert hall. All four of the musicians were fantastic and since you are so close you really get to see their expressions and passion for the music. I believe the first violin the night we were there was Marina Caputo and she was amazing (they were all great). I would highly recommend this concert to anyone looking for a lovely night out.

Lovely concert, lovely venue

This venue is tucked away near St. Stephen's Cathedral. It is a beautifully decorated if tightly packed room where Mozart once played. The string quartet was very talented and played a sort of greatest hits selection of music.

Excellent performance.

The performance was excellent and energetic. Brought back memories of my experiences playing in an orchestra. Bravo!!!

A fabulous experience

A fabulous concert by true professionals in a great setting. The Mozasthaus is so special and music choice highly appropriate.

Terrible Experience Trying to turn in voucher for tickets.

We went three times during the day to try and get the tickets. No one was ever at the address even though there was a clapboard sign, table and brochures. No office and no instructions of how to get the actual tickets. Sent three messages to the tour operator and no one ever responded. Never got the tickets even after chatting with Viator.

Enchanted with the musicians and songs. The setting was romantic. I could imagine Mozart stalking the halls.

The highlight of our trip to Vienna!

This was the most magical and intimate evening. The venue was stunning and the orchestra outstanding. You could close your eyes and really imagine yourself sitting in the same room with the 18th century audience in all their finery and enjoying the same music. An unforgettable evening.

Unique and quaint

Really nice and unique experience. My teenagers even enjoyed it. Really nice gentleman escorting us in and out. The drinks at intermission were a nice surprise

A Virtuoso Delight

A delightful musical experience: the Mozart Ensemble played a programme of Mozart, Haydn and others with great verve and obvious enjoyment of their art in the intimate and exquisitely decorated Sala Terrena of the Deutschordnungshaus. N.B. Although the billing is of 'Konzerte im Mozarthaus', the venue is not the nearby Mozarthaus on Domgasse but in the Deutschordnungshaus at 7 Singerstrasse. Entering from the street, the Sala Terrena is reached through the next entrance on the right immediately after the entrance to the chapel in the first small courtyard of the complex. When we arrived looking to redeem our voucher for tickets, there was no signage making this clear or indicating when the doors would open, but organisers set up a table ouside not long before performance.

Listening to great music in an intimate setting was a awesome experience. Thoroughly enjoyed the concert. Everyone needs a little culture in their life.

The concert was pleasing, the repertoire interesting and the artists masterfully skilled. We were surprised with little stories about the composers and with an extra piece of music.

NO VENUE ADDRESS

The concert was amazing and the musicians were great, The problem was that there are 14 different places that Mozart lived in Vienna, a Mozart house, museum. The ticket and information provided to me by Viator did not have the actual address of this concert and I went to the other main Mozart house venue and was almost late and missed the beginning of this event. Fortunately I ran into a lady who worked in a hotel who gave me directions, and said other people had had the same issue. Viator - HOW ABOUT YOU ADD THE ACTUAL ADDRESS TO THE INFO??? Make sense or would you prefer to make your customers run around in circles in cities? 7 Singerstrasse is the address for those of you going in the future!! Get it together!!!!

Small and peaceful

Small setting with great music. Very bare bones but comfortable. Intermission is outside in covered area. Would recommend

Tourist trap

The room where the concert takes place is in a building where Mozart lived for two months. It does not take place in his apartment/home. Out of five rows of chairs, the first three are sold at premium price. The concert takes an hour and twenty minutes, including a twenty minutes intermission. The performance was not impressive. Instead, I would recommend going to one of the many church concerts or a show at the Spanish Riding School. I wish we had spent our time and money differently.

Great experience

While there were about 5 rows, the size of this beautiful room allows for a good view from any seat. The performers were professional and played pieces by other composers besides Mozart. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Location was easy to find and staff checking us in was courteous. Overall, we would recommend this venue.

Wonderful experience

Wonderful experience! Loved the music. My only complaint is that I felt like getting up and dancing but it was a seated concert 😂 And it felt like heaven when I closed my eyes and focused on the music

The musicians were GREAT! The selection of music, sound, and professionalism exceeded my expectations. We found the location hard to find, but local businesses were super helpful and pointed us in the right direction.

An excellent evening's entertainment

A wonderful performance in a delightful venue. The musicians were of a high calibre. The programme was varied - Dvorak and Haydn as well as Mozart. I would definitely recommend this to both the dedicated music lover and the debutant

Perfect concert

The trio was wonderful. The composer and piece selections were very good and played so well. The intimate venue was nice as well. A perfect Vienna concert.

Above expectations!

This event exceeded my expectations! All the musicians were so professional and performed a great ensemble of all the renowned musicians. I'd recommend this to everyone who comes to Vienna!

Seriously disappointing

This concert was seriously disappointing. The music was slightly better than adequate, it felt as though the musicians had not played together much. The room is lovely and the potential is good. But it doesn't live up to expectations. The real problem was in the organisation. Coats had to be left outside in a cloaks area but this was not supervised for the entire duration if the concert. Anyone could take any coat, and people would even have been able to access the area from outside. Our coats had been moved during the concert and so were difficult to find. The organisers were really quite rude. The chairs in the concert area are quite small and had been very closely packed which meant that if you were next to a large person you might get only half a chair as they were hanging over. Given that there are so many large people these days a bit more spacing would be sensible, as reasonably people are not happy if they are squashed and also fat people don't like attention being brought to their size. So get real and give more space! In my view this is not worth the money. Pay a few pounds more and go to a proper concert.

Fully engaging Mozart Ensemble

Beautiful Mozart Ensemble in lovely, small venue. Terrific performance by trio (pianist, cellist, violinist) playing works of Haydn, Liszt, Chopin, Beethoven and Mozart.

Horrible

It is a trio not a quartet, the music was fine, musicians were delightful. The area is too small, too many uncomfortable chair cramped. All this is ok but the most horrible part was that I paid for A chairs .they sent voucher not the ticket. Went early after reading reviews to get front seat. Guy at desk said in avery unapologetic way ( your name is not here, we might overbooked , wait until start of concert if I find a seat you will get in or refund! Waiting is outdoors BTW with a zero degree weather & rain.. I called the phone provided by booking! They said wait one moment! This moment was more than 20 minutes! I called again he said one moment and hung up on me while I was still talking,, eventually they let us in after almost everyone else.. of course got the last row in category A. Can’t see anything ! Horrible

Concert was fantastic We even made a mistake and turned up a day late The young man at the ticket office advised us to come back the next night and he fitted us in Excellent quartet

Beautiful sounds

We were greatly pleased with the performance of the string quartet last night. Also, we enjoyed the small group setting, and the acoustics on this location.

Great music in cozy ambience where Mozart used to play. Seats could be arranged a little farther apart though.

Loving the vibe!

The whole vibe and strings quartet concert was spectacular. I would highly recommend this - being played in Mozarthaus. The musicians were very passionate and you can see and feel it.

One of the most enjoyable nights in Vienna. So glad we included this in our trip. The musicians so talented, venue was beautiful.

Miscommunication = disappointment

We were SO excited to attend this concert!!!! But when we arrived at the venue it was dark and locked up tight. No box office; no sign; nothing! We DID see somebody enter and we knocked and knocked on the door, but nothing. We asked at the neighboring business and they said, “Oh no, you need to go to St Stephens.’”So we did, only to find that it was all locked up too! Previous communication with Viator was vey good, so we were disappointed not to be notified if the concert was modified? Cancelled? Moved? We never knew what happened. 43E of Uber-ing hither and yon later, without any results, we went back to our hotel and had a cocktail. Oh well — it was disappointing, but if our money will be refunded, so it goes…

A very intimate space and experience! Immensely talented and knowledgable musicians! I recommend it highly!

Best Food walking tour in Vienna!

This walking food tour with Henrietta was excellent! We had a very fun group of people, and visited 6-8 restaurants and stalls in different Vienna districts in 6 hours, seeing two huge markets along the way, all by way of metro (underground and busses). Some participants purchased a 24 hour metro ticket online in advance while others simply bought their ticket at the metro ticket machine when we arrived at our first station. Both ways worked well. Henrietta ordered whatever we wanted to drink with the food we ate at several stops (Austrian beer, wine, Vienna coffee or tea). The selection of food was amazing and ranged from strudel, Wienerschnitzel with potatoes, dumplings, an amazing Goulash, two kinds of sausages, meatloaf, hazelnut ice cream, wafers with hazelnut, and Schnapps, among a number of other things. It was all so good but we were glad the portions were small because we all agreed that we were going to roll back to our hotels as it was. Thank you, Henrietta, for showing us the sights and exposing us to the wonderful offerings of Vienna. It was great food, great drink, and great camaraderie! And a great opportunity for us to learn about the different districts and their contributions to the wonders that make up Vienna. Simply put, it was the perfect day!

Great music

The music was great, the musicians were clearly passionate when playing . I am by no means a music connaiseuse to be fair. The venue was a little difficult to find, we thought we had arrived but it turns out the venue was around the corner as there was a similar venue nearby. . The room was quite small making it an intimidate event. Before each symphony some information was given about Mozart during that period which was a nice touch . Overall we both enjoyed it .

We had such a lovely time. The pieces played were beautiful and the musicians were fantastic. Definitely recommend to all who come to Vienna.

Excellent but got confuse to find location

Excellent concert. This chamber music concert is Very intimate. Please be advised to get the right show location since there are many location call Mozarthouse. You to get or use the exact location address since there is an other location that use similar name not far from this one I would suggest to arrive half an hour ahead of time.

Great Concert

This was a really incredible experience- I definitely recommend it that others come and see this when in Vienna
