Incredible music! Beautiful church! Lovely people! The pews are a bit hard on the back so bring something soft to sit/lean on. 10/10 recommend.

Amazing music & beautiful venue

I really enjoyed the concert not being a classical music fan I wasn’t sure what to expect but found the music to be easily recognisable and beautifully played in a stunning location. The crypts were also a fascinating experience and worth the trip

The music . But it was so uncomfortable in the church it spoiled the experience . The quartertet were very professional. There was a good mixture of music but it was uncomfortable and if it had been cold outside it would have been really cold in the church

This was wonderful!

One of the best outings we did while in Vienna. It is not a massive venue, but the quality was excellent and had a very intimate feel. We will definitely do this again if we ever get back to Vienna. Thank you for an excellent experience.

Excellent concert in a beautiful setting

This is a wonderful way to celebrate prior to Christmas. The musicians were outstanding, the vocalist sublime, and the church itself beautiful. The audience was welcomed to the evening by a brief advent statement. The choice of music was beautiful. The acoustics are great. It was a superb blend of classical and contemporary Christmas music pieces. With so many concerts to choose from in Vienna this is one very worth attending.

Highlight of Christmas visit to Vienna

The Christmas concert was a top highlight of our trip to Vienna! The musicians and singers were amazing!!! Goosebumps throughout the show on an amazing intimate church!

Short, beautiful classical quartet concert.

The quartet played beautiful classical music in the Capuchin Church. This was an excellent end to the day.

Early Evening Vienna Concert was Perfect

We were looking for a concert that was about the music - not costumes, dinner, etc. - and preferred one that didn't begin at 20:30. We came upon the Capuchin church while wondering, booked the 18:30 tickets and then sat in a sidewalk cafe until the doors opened. We were the first inside and when the musicians arrived, their attitude seemed to say they were looking forward to it as much as we were. The quality was excellent. And choosing a Brahms piece to close the program added some humor that confirmed they were having a good time too. We four HIGHLY recommend this experience.

Magical concert!

The small church was filled with wonderful sounds from Mozart to Brahms to Bach and Tschaikowsky. Highly recommended!!

Fifty minutes of delight.

The choice of music was excellent and the playing impeccable. The concert lasted fifty minutes and no speeches! Excellent value.

A Magical Evening of Music

This chamber concert with The Emperor Quartet Vienna in the historic Capuchin Church was a highlight of our visit to Vienna. The program, which included Mozart, Haydn, Schubert, Bach and other favorites, was expertly played by an extremely gifted quartet. The intimate setting, a beautiful historic church, made this a magical experience. We highly recommend it.

Kleine Nachtmusik

Was a nice classical concert although quite short! Musicians really good professionals, especially the first violin. We really enjoyed it!

Great Concert

It's a good concert to enjoy while traveling without feeling too much pressure. The time is about an hour, and it would be perfect to listen to before going to dinner. It consists of string quartets. It is recommended for people who do not usually enjoy classical music because it mainly plays famous songs.

Good evening event if you visit Vienna

We took a joint tour for the tomb with this music even, which is created in honor of Habsburg. Quartet was very good playing classical composition, though pretty famous.

Good concert, just a bit too much talking

The actual music was great, but there was also a lot of talking, which went on for a long time especially as it was all in both German and English. I'd booked it on the understanding that it'd be an hour of music. However, the music itself was great.

Unforgettable concert experience

It was an excellent concert, varied program, excellent interpretation, wonderful, "imperial" atmosphere in the church, the program was entertaining at just under an hour and not too long. I can only recommend this concert series to visitors to Vienna and locals alike.

Atmospheric Advent concert in a beautiful setting

A lovely way to get into the Christmas spirit with traditional Christmas songs accompanied by lovely Christmas stories. - In my opinion, the opera voice wasn't suitable for all of the songs.

Advent Concert

Very good performance, artistically very high quality. Singer was very good. Songs were very fitting.

A very nice, varied concert experience

Entertaining, varied program. It would have been nice if the musicians had been introduced. The lyrics were appropriate and were performed very well.

Disappointing

Instead of the announced Vienna Kaiser Quartet, whose reputation and many years of experience were used to advertise this concert of a little night music (duration approx. 60 minutes), four young, inexperienced graduates played for 50 minutes at a price of €35 per person. You feel a bit ripped off. €15 might have been appropriate for the concert. Disappointing!

A wonderful experience!

It was one of the most beautiful concerts I have ever experienced in Vienna! In the beautiful atmosphere of the Capuchin Church, the musicians played with passion and quickly passed on their joy of the wonderful music to the audience!

Fine little musical performance

Unfortunately, the (excellent) musicians did not introduce themselves. We would have liked to have heard a few words about the works performed. But we enjoyed it very much.

Very nice concert evening

Very good acoustics in the church. Mozart's "Eine kleine Nachtmusik", Schubert's "Ave Maria", Haydn's "Kaiserquartett" and Bach's "Air" were played by the Kaiserquartett Wien. In addition to the music, you can also admire the church in peace and quiet - it's really worth it.

Top klassisches Potpourri! Der Anfang war mit Mozart und der Mittelteil mit Bach. Der krönende Abschluss fand mit Musik mit Tschaikowski statt.

Sehr schön kurzweilig, manchmal nicht präzise aber nobody is perfect. Sehr schöner Klang und Akustik. Eine nette Abwechslung und eine Gelegenheit runter zu kommen und zu entspannen.

Ecrin parfait pour un concert

La musique de cet ensemble est magnifique, joué par des pros avec un sourire aux lèvres, tellement ils "vivent" ce concert avec nous. Acoustique et ambiance superbes dans la Kapuziner Kirche (juste les bancs sont peu confortables, mais le concert ne dure qu'une heure et fait oublier le petit inconfort, lol). Entäuschend

Das Konzert ist das Geld und die Zeit leider nicht wert. Das Wiener Kaiserquartett hat zum Teil falsch gespielt (!?!), was alles andere als kaiserlich ist. Einige Besucher:innen sind bereits vor Konzertende aus der Kirche gegangen. Alles in allem kann ich das Konzert überhaupt nicht empfehlen. Leider!

Gut gespielt, tolles Streichquartett mit sehr guter Cellistin. Ein Genuss und sehr zu empfehlen. Stücke sind sehr bekannte Ohrwürmer und immer wieder schön zu hören. Kirche als Konzertsaal ist interessant und einmal anders.
