Absolutely wonderful. Could get up real close to the rock. Our tour guides were superb, so knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. The nibbles at the end were delicious. Even though the ground was wet from rain, it didn't spoil the experience one bit. A fair bit of walking but it was a nice slow pace and easy. Thank you for the experience 🙏

Amazing experience

It was amazing to see the rock up close, nothing prepares you for what it actually looks like. We had a great guide who told us the spiritual side of the rock and gave me a greater understanding of what it means to the indigenous community and how important it is. Definitely made the rock come to life.

The guides gave a detailed commentary about the Rock, and it was great being able to get up close and personal. Very interesting cultural centre. The Rock is awe inspiring.

This was a great informative trip out to meet Uluru and learn some of the history and stories associated with this wonder of the world. Could have used more time at the cultural centre.

We had an amazing day visiting Uluru even though we had a sudden downpour. Our guides John and Russell were superb. Thank you for making a dream come true.

The mystical Rock that is Uluru

We totally enjoyed the trip from start to finish. Hearing about all the history of Uluru. Our guides Rob, Dan made sure it was done to suit everyone’s pace. The icing on the cake was the fizz and nibbles at end and watching the rock capture all different colours as sun went down. Memories to cherish.

Stunning Views of Uluru

The tour was excellent, my only criticism was of the sunset drinks and nibbles . These were laid out when we arrived at the viewing area but unfortunately the food wasn’t covered so the flies were all over the various meats and cheese .. so we thought it best to give that a miss

This tour is great...

This tour is great especially if you are travelling in the hotter months and/or with someone who has mobility challenges. The tour is well organized and the guide is super knowledgeable. Our tour was a very large group and given some of the participants has mobility challenges would have been good if the guide waited till everyone got to the different spots to start their explanation. The views of Uluru as the sunset was spectacular!

Beautiful Sunset Tour of Uluru

My husband & I had a great time on this tour! Our tour guides were really friendly and knowledgeable. Driving around the Uluru base was a wonderful way to avoid the heat of the day, but still see all the sites. The sunset at Uluru was beautiful and we enjoyed the couple of snack and drink options.

Uluru - the land down under

Visiting Uluru was a unique experience. The tour provided a good overview of the land, the people and their culture. Visiting in the summer was extremely hot 112* and lots of relentless flies, as I understand now is common. I wish the tour had proactively recommended nets to keep the flies away.

Brilliant experience

From start to finish our guides were excellent. The guides were very knowledgeable and respectful of our surroundings. Time keeping was excellent. No downside whatever.Fabulous trip.

Magical Uluru

Great guide and storytelling and magical to see Uluru up close. The BBQ dinner was great and the star talk was out of this world.

Fantastic tour

It's been on my bucket list for years to see Uluru and it certainly didn't disappoint. Such an amazing place to visit and experience. Lovely staff on the tour too

A day in the sun...

'We had a great day. Although the tempature was high it really didn't come into play. Both our guides did a super job of keeping the crowd engaged and relating all the history behind Uluru. Very interesting and provoking. A job well done!!

A must do in Uluru!

Had an amazing tour with so much information! It was very well organised and the tour guides were so friendly and knowledgeable about the history and area. The day was finished with a wine and canapés whilst watching the sunset over the rock. What an amazing experience this was!

Uluru was absolutely...

Uluru was absolutely amazing and we're so happy we got to see it! The tour operator was great, handled everything smoothly and we didn't feel they were lacking in any way. The tour explanations were very valuable and the sunset appetizers were great. Thanks so much for the experience!

Wonderful tour!

The tour was wonderful! Jakob and Hayley were so incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. This tour really highlighted the rich history of Uluru and its cultural significance. We especially loved hearing the stories of the different sides of the rocks as we hiked and drove around the site. It was quite hot but the team made sure we stayed hydrated and in the shade as much as possible. The sunset was absolutely stunning and for only spending the day in Uluru we left with such an appreciation for this beautiful place! Thank you! Our tour was technically the sacred sites one booked through the resort but didn’t see it listed.

Beautiful rock

It was a very hot 43 degrees day. But our young guides really turned the whole experience into a fun filled one. Jess and Jessy were so nice, compassionate , friendly and very responsible. They made sure we are hydrated and carefully guided us throughout the tour. The rock was very beautiful and astonishing. It’s huge and has very interesting history. A must see attraction .there are walking trails but were closed due to excessive heat on that day. We had a nice time at the sunset. They provided chairs, snacks, drinks etc during the sunset which was really a nice touch and enjoyable.

Great trip

Amazing trip, enjoyed learning about the culture & was magnificent to see. Just a note as I don’t think it’s massively clear- you do need to purchase the national park tickets prior to entering, the itinerary suggests they’re including but they are definitely not. We opted in for the bbq which was very good, good food & amazing experience

Worthwhile overview of Uluru

Good overview of the Anangu culture and Uluru. Our two guides were knowledgeable and entertaining. The snacks and drinks at sunset were very nice. Overall, a very good tour.

A good tour to go on

Great organisation in the resort. Clear story telling. Tasty food and drinks. They even organised the sunset we needed for a great picture. Viator should update its description to state the need to buy the Park Pass before going on the tour.

Incredible stories and scenery

This trip was fantastic - I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to visit this amazing place but might not have great mobility. We saw Uluru from all angles, and the stops we made were very easy to navigate. Our tour guide was informative and had great stories for us. The park was in full bloom while we were there, and I have never seen any place more beautiful than this. We met some friendly and interesting people, and watching the sunset with them was a blast. We opted for the barbecue after, and it was really nicely done. We had to deal with quite a few insects while in the park (obviously), but the staff did a really good job of deterring them from swarming over us while we ate by strategically placing light sources to draw them away. The after dinner "star tour" was a really great end to the night.

Discovering a new world. Very different from us.

The explanations of Glen our guide, of the stories, histories, habits and believes Of the various tribes. Uluru itself is quite impressive. The organization of the trip was very efficient and effective.

Our tour guide Beatrice was just amazing. She was so knowledgeable and full of understanding for the cultural experience She is an assett to the company. Every staff member was so good from start to finish. Food and wine was excellent I can't recommend this tour enough.

Breath taking!

Wow; amazing tour! Incredible scenery, just beautiful. Very good price, and very flexible with hotel drop off times/pick up times. Food/drinks included while at Uluru which is fantastic. Would like to give a special out to our tour guide Dan, he really made the day enjoyable! Ticks the boxes

All things considered, the tour was just as expected. It was fine, but impersonal. I didn’t enjoy the big coach experience with 40 something people. To be fair, it’s what we signed up for, so I knew that going in. But earlier that day, we did the sunrise Kata Tjuṯa with a small group and it was spectacular. My problem is that we paid the exact same amount for both experiences. The small group (SEIT) was considerably better. For this particular tour (AAT), we were charged Peak prices because we booked the day of the tour. The two tours cannot compare and yet they were the same price.

Fantastic tour with AAT Kings

A great adventure to Uluṟu with Glenn. Super knowledgeable and friendly, Glenn was an outstanding guide for our bus group. The visit to the cultural centre was very interesting and was a great introduction to the stories Glenn told on our tour of the rock, cave and waterhole. Watching the beautiful sunset with wine and nibbles was definitely a great way to end the tour.

The place is amazing but the tour was rushed and cramped

Absolutely crowded bus and totally rushed trip to Uluru. Some people have waited a lifetime and paid all this money to experience Uluru - not to experince endless talking of hosts (on topics written everywhere already) and RUSHING you rudely from one spot to another, saying “hurry up and take a photo so that everyone else can get one”. But with over 60 ppl on the tour not everyone gets a good photo and NOBODY had a quiet minute with any part of the place at all. Stories should be “optional” if time is so linited. The sunset was better but overcrowded and toilet facilities nauseating. The bbq was fabulous and the staff there were so friendly, helpful, fun and knowledgable. The star gazing was brilliant and that while part of the night was relaxed and beautiful. Uluru tour was the most disappointing experience due to the number of ppl crammed into one tour. Fix your times and leave ppl some space to breathe. It is a holiday, not a military camp.

Great tour from a great company!

Excellent tour with a great guide & driver. Even with bad weather and a cancellation of the dinner, it was a very good experience. Their communication throughout was great and the partial refund was promptly issued. Great experience!

The beauty and spirituality of Uluṟu.

Seeing Uluṟu up close and the sacred sites around it. The cave paintings and the trees and plants. Our AAT Kings guide Munaavar described everything and told us the cultural stories of everything we saw. The Cultural Heritage Centre brought more meaning to Uluṟu.. Sunset views were amazing!! Very special part of Australia!

Excellent final day tour

Excellent tour and hike, made it back in time for the flight out as well, something I was curious about when booking myself.

Sunset tour on base of Uluru

Unfortunately, the day on my visit is raining . However, I had an experience of waterfalls from the red rocks, it’s Amazing, once in a lifetime. So BBQ dinner outdoor with view of sunset of Uluru was canceled dueto rain; however, half day tour with walking through the sacred sites: Kanja gorges, Mutitjulu water hole and etc. very enjoyable and much knowledgeable.

Book with caution

Fight was cancelled and it caused us to arrive late. AAT was unwilling to make any accommodations or make any adjustments. Book at your own risk. Flights into Ayres Rock get canceled by JetStar fairly regular.

Base tour of Uluru and sunset tour. Traditional stories, better understanding aboriginal culture. Booking process efficient as was the refund process when had to cancel another tour.

Flies, flies & more flies

Flies made it difficult to enjoy the tour. Too many people on the tour on a very hot day. Possibility, of dehydration, heat stroke, heat exhaustation & heat cramps. The tour guide started talking before everyone was off the bus. The short walk, hmm for someone in shape was probably 15 minutes one way.

Highly recommend this company

Service is great. Love to work with this company. We were a bit late at the pick up and they saved our day by coming back to pick us up. They are also very thoughtful with the water and the food. Love it

hope for clear skies

This was a great experience for those of us who are NOT morning people. The star viewing is one of the highlights of our trip as it was crystal clear.

a decent trip.

WE were picked up on time, the guide and driver were enthusiastic and knowledgeable but it wasn't always easy to hear them over the PA system. We were unlucky with the weather in that it was very cloudy so we didnt get the orange glow over Ayres Rock, but that did also mean that we were not as troubled by flies as we had anticipated. Did not do the dinner, so cannot comment on that.

Ripped off!

Totally unacceptable!! I cancelled this experience within the contract period only to have the full cost deducted as a cancellation fee. Disgraceful conduct.
