Kumbhalgarh fort is 82 km from udaipur and can be done in 1 day Excellently maintained fort by maharaja prataps forefathers Rana kumbha It has a birthplace of maharaja pratap but closed now for public Guide has a union here and they charge hefty 750 rs for tour so if you need a sharing find some one Nice views from top of udaipur city

Great Jain temple, a must go

Amazing Jain temple, very nice surroundings in the countryside, I recommend it. You can either stop by on your way from Udaipur to Jodhpur, or spend the night in one of the hotels there.

A grand day out

The long drive to both sites was alleviated by going through some lovely countryside and we passed several small villages and got see a slice of rural life. Kumbahlgarh and Ranakpur are amazing and well worth the day trip. Whilst our driver was patient and efficient his spoken English was very limited and our trip could have been much more interesting if he could have provided information about the villages we passed. We passed the whole drive in near silence. The other concern was a safety issue as one of the seat belts in the back did not work and given the haphazard style of driving was a bit worrying. Lunch was superb and to be recommended. In all it was a grand day out and I would advise setting off as early as possible to beat the crowds.

Great experience

Visited Udaipur and Kumbhalgarh with Paramanand Bhai. He is like our family member. He showed us beautiful places in Udaipur and Kumbhalgarh Fort. Would highly recommend him whenever I go to Rajasthan to visit other places.

Really good worth the price charged

The chance to see the countryside between these two cities was excellent. Our driver was helpful and careful. THe temple itself was interesting and worth seeing, but doesn't match some of the other excellent places we visited in Rajasthan. We totally agreed that our driver, BIttu, was EXCELLENT 👌

I was not sure if i could cover Ranakpur and Kumbhalgarh, but Bittu and team from Udaipur made it comfortable. Yaswant our driver was very supper and friendly, accommodative ... Well organised and thorough Service

Booked a day tour to Kumbhalgarh and jain temple with mr Yaswant. Friendly driver. Took our request to start early. Skipped his lunch so that we can reach on time. Very friendly and accommodating.his Very humble and helpful person.

Comfortable and wonderful memories

One of the unique experiences riding with Bittu Bhaiya urf Shankar !! He has shown some of most beautiful place in Udaipur with lots of stories to tell of Mewar . Kumbhalgarh and Eklingji are ethereal experiences. And there is a mind blowing place called Sas Bahu Temple 😁 . Travel is incomplete without Bittu Bhagya’s gastronomical stops on the way !

On time, no hassle service

We took a one day tour from Udaipur Airport to Kumbalgarh Fort and Ranakpur Temple and back to Udaipur Hotel in the evening. The driver was in the airport before we arrived and we were ready to go straight. An english speaking guide Arjun Singh was arranged who was knowledgeable and made the Kumbalgarh fort tour seamless. Then post lunch we headed to Ranakpur Jain temple to spend an hour. We returned back to the hotel in Udaipur around 6PM. Overall everything was good. The only negative could be that the driver doesn’t know English but the guide knows it well. So we managed it somehow. Would recommend this tour :)

Awesome experience with udaipur tour and taxi

It was a very comfortable space. It was an environment that I would like to come back to. It was so much fun to ride Kumbhalgarh fort and Ranakpur Jain temple while feeling the nature. The local people were also very kind and healing. I would highly recommend his services coming to all traveler's ,also thanks to Mr' Bittu and his team.

Generally good, some minuses

We took the taxi for Kumbhalgarh and Ranakpur, without guide. The driver was good and everything was quite well organised. The minuses were that the restaurant they took us to was very bad, the driver didn't speak English and the trip took longer than expected. When we expressed our wish to return to Udaipur after Kumbhalgarh without seeing Ranakpur, the driver didn't agree and we ended up spending half an hour driving back and forth to Ranakpur and leaving the site without seeing the temple, as we had no time to see it. Of course the taxi company would have had to adjust the price without Ranakpur and that's why they wanted to take us there, but this was still annoying as our wishes were not heard.

Rememberable service's by udaipur tour and taxi

By udaipur tour and taxi provided us with a car and driver at our disposal to go around the city of Udaipur per our convenience, which was great. The car was clean and maintained. The driver was courteous & helpful, well-behaved and knew the city roads very well. He was well-informed about various spots in the city of lake's udaipur and Kumbhalgarh fort & Ranakpur Jain temple!

If you have time you must visit this fort to get a glimpse of the rich Indian Heritage, Culture of Incredible India !

A walk/climb up the Kumbhalgarh Fort is worth and you get a birds eye view of the surrounding many temples and the walls of the fort and town. View is splendid from the top and so is the breeze. A glimpse of the ancient Indian Culture and Heritage !

We took Shambu , as our driver for day trip of Ranakpur and Kumbhalgarh. I couldn’t have been more right about my decision. Shambu knowledge of this area and practicality is beyond superior. We were picked up at our hotel by driver Mr,bittu and joined by guide Vishal Singh at city palase, Bittu also gave us lot of information as he drives by until we were met with the guide.he also stopped at a sweet shop upon our request before dropping us off at the hotel. An exceptional visit

Bittu the tour guide was great in all aspects of the tour. The visit to the fort was knowledge building. It helped my understanding of Rajasthan history. Because I booked the tour with Bittu he also gave an excellent tour of Udaipur. My trip coincided with Holi which meant many sites were closed, but Bittu ably navigated through. A wonderful visit

Bittu is really cooperative and immediate responded to any query, he guided us not to waste our when we visited on Holi.

We 5 members came from Delhi (3 from Delhi) and (2 from Thirunelveli) for a short trip to Udaipur. It was nice trip, enjoyed. Kumbhalgarh fort was really different experience to see world 2nd longest fort.

I booked this day trip to Kumbhalgarh Fort & Ranakpur Jain Temple at the last minute while here in Udaipur—and I'm so glad I did. Shankar is an excellent driver, punctual, friendly, very informative. The car itself is first-rate, best I've had in India so far. Lunch was delicious, a beautiful terrace cafe near Ranakpur. The temple is extraordinary. The audio tour superb. Exceptionally memorable visit. The Fort is very impressive. Shankar found me an excellent guide, which made all the difference in the visit. We went for one day trip to kumbhalgarh along with guide..first thing entire journey was full of talks regarding the history of the fort n royal family...we were amazed bcz what ever bittu bhaiya told was more than what ever we heard..and guide also provided by bittu bhaiya he was also very nice explained every point. Aftr this we went for lunch and we had very good veg food bittu bhaiya only suggested us...in this entire trip what evr shoping point we touched n eateries we visited, experineced was very good and these were only suggested by bhaiya (bittu bhaiya)...he is the rockstar not only udaipur but for entire rajasthan😊

The drive to the fort and temple was so nice and beautiful. Driving across small villages, jungle, lakes and a beautiful and peaceful country side.
