Bali White Water Rafting

We had a great experience on the Telaga. Our driver Putu was punctional and knowledgeable about the areas we drove through on the way to the river. Our raft guide was incredible and helped us navigate the many rocks and rapids of the river. Very smooth operation, great ride on the river. Must experience in Bali.

A must do in Bali

This is the third time I’ve done this rafting experience with the operator. The scenery and knowledge is unbelievable

White water fun

Had a wonderful day out, the rafting was great and exciting once we got going. Our driver Ketut was nice and prompt with pickup and the rafting guide Wira was experienced on the water. Thumbs up from the boys, would do again

Exceeded my expectations.

A great enjoyable 3 hour ride down the river with lots of twists and turns and ups and downs. This was my first white water rafting trip and it more than exceeded my expectations. As a solo rider I had the dinghy all to myself to boot! A more friendly and accommodating staff could not be found, especially Wayan Gatra my driver who kept me engaged with lots of tid bits about Bali on the 2 hour drive from and to my hotel. Thanks!

Amazing Bali experience

It was an amazing experience, we had a lot of fun during the activity specially because we had a prefect driver/tour guide (Nengah) who was very helpful and supportive during this day I recommend this activity so much to all Bali visitors

A great day out for the family

A great day out and fantastic value with a zip wire for starters, some great rafting; stop for a waterfall view and then a stop for a coconut and a great water slide at the end with lunch included. A great family day and with a pick up from Ubud - great value. The safety briefing was thorough which was good see

Amazing for first timer

My biggest ask when looking for white water rafting was no stairs. Compared to what I have heard about with another rafting place, this had very minimal stairs and that was going down. The views were amazing and the guys who dis all the work were absolutely amazing and so kind and caring. Lunch was nice if a bit spicey and they had some nice cold drinks you could buy. Overall it was fun, exciting and relaxing.

Day trip

Was good. Scenic waterfalls aplenty .not too strenuous either. Worthwhile especially for those who haven't tried it before.

Good reading experience

Great tour. The operators did a wonderful job. Timely pick up from hotel, welcome snack, gearing up, safety briefing, rafting tour, changing room, hot lunch and drop back.

One of the kind experience

It’s one of the kind experience !! We enjoyed it ! With high safety and the pictures highly recommended to buy them they are good. But there is few things the guide not professional he is not guide us to help him so we always get stuck. Moreover, they said there will be a zip line but there was not.

Fabulous Fun Afternoon

We had a fabulous, fun afternoon on the river. We felt very safe and in good hands with our two guides. If you like adventure, Anna an adrenaline rush, then this is the river for you.

Loved it! After having experienced rafting in Bali twice before, I was basically looking for a rafting experience with no stairs - and this delivered! It seemed from the reviews that this would be more calmer than others like Ayung, but this was the most thrilling one I've done yet! There are constant rapids - we did not have to paddle even once! As always, the staff are so impressive and skillful and our guide Oma ensured we had the most enjoyable experience. Did I mention - NO STAIRS! :D thank you BCR!

Best Bali rafting

Everything was great, especially our driver Kadek, who went out of his way to help us buy some souvenirs on our way back. Also rafting on Telaga Waya is 5 out of 5, experienced guides who take you over the river safely and you can enjoy the scenery and the rapids.

Fun day out

Excellent day out, from pick-up to drop-off, rafting was great fun with a nice stop off for a Bintang, guide really good, lunch good, definitely recommend it

Great fun for adults and kids

A private car picks you up from hotel and takes you to village by the river, there you get your life jacket and helmet and meet your guide/rafter all very friendly, i bought a cheap water pouch for my phone so i could get video and photos. The river is narrow and fun and not to rough for kids, my girls 10&12 enjoyed it and didnt paddle at all i helped a little bit in front but guide did the work. Lovely scenery and a few rest stops, here you can buy a bintang or softdrink (buy one for your driver) so take cash with you The two drop jumps were very fun, we also enjoyed a lovely lunch at the end before driving home. A great day out, Telega seem to be the most affordable too.

White water rafting

Really comfortable ride there and back. The driver was excellent. White water rafting is an adreline rush. Big smiles on our faces. Countryside had me captivated.if your thinking about going dont hesitate go!

Great experience

Everything on this small adventure went smooth and well. The trip was well organised and I got picked up by a really friendly driver. The experience at rafting was amazing. The guide wajan was really friendly and patient and I felt really comfortable with his guidance during the trip. Thank you very much for the great day

Jurasic park!

Its not wild. Except the drop everything else was just medium force water. Wouldn't suggest for the elderly. One of the best things to do for sure in bali.

White water

Good day out with fantastic views along the whole river. Not the most exhilarating rapids and maybe a tad to long of a journy without that excitement. Our guide was also a little cheeky with some of the girls in out group and made them a little uncomfortable.

Fantastic day out Great views Awesome guides - Nyoman was friendly, cheeky and the perfect guide to take you down the rapids. Best rafting I have experience so much better than NZ There are a few stairs, but much easier on the legs than some other providers

Rafting

Picked up on time, driver was very friendly. Arrived at place, seemed well organised. Make sure you put sun screen on at the start otherwise you will get burn, also wear a cap under helmet. Also wear a pair of runners of water shoes as you do walk over some stones. The water levels weren't very high so we did get stuck on a lot of rocks. Our guide was very good but towards the end he did say he expected a tip at the end because he doesn't get paid very much. Luckily we had taken money for drinks.

Great 1/2 day rafting

Interesting drive up to the start. Great fun rafting. Wear a cap under your helmet as sunglasses forever wet! Be prepared to get wet, wear good sports sandals or light sports shoes. Lunch is a bit ordinary but didn’t go for the food

Telaga Waja River Rafting was great, facilities hmmmm.

I had previously rafted down Ayung River a few times and decided to try a different river. The Telaga Waja River has more rapids, no swimming spot, but a great finale over a reservoir wall. The facilities were so, so. The men's showers reminded me of my Navy days - all open and comprised a "hose"head, not shower head with cold water. Food was average. I then went on an ATV tour in Payangan Village near Ubud and the facilities and food were far superior (Hotel standard). They also offer Rafting but down Ayung River. Very Professional.

Bloody awesome

At 50 and 55 we worried about doing this with our youngest son. But it was amazing. We had the most amazing time and the waterfalls where so beautiful. First time I have ever stood under a waterfall with it pounding on my helmet. Our guide was brilliant and laughed so much with us and at us. I absolutely recommend this trip BUT wear shoes the little bit of walking you do has sharp rocks etc and makes it hard to walk. Definitely a most do for everyone.

Awesome

My partner and i have been whitewater rafting 3 other times prior to this day and this was the 2nd time weve rafted on this river but this was the best day rafting weve ever done. The Telaga waja river was running fast on this day and it was sooo much fun. The Telaga waja river is a beautiful stretch of water there are many waterfalls lots of rice terraces 2 damns 1 of which you raft down. There are several businesses that operate on this river and im sure they are all great. I highly recommend this company they were fantastic.

Exciting experience

We experienced a couple of hours of very fun rafting on Telaga Waja river. We didn't have any boring downtime. Totally recommend.

Telaga Waja rafting tour

This tour was fantastic, the guides where very helpful and professional and we had a great time. The scenery is gorgeous. There are only a few steps to go up or down at the beginning and end. It is a long tour with the rafting going for 3hours so I would suggest this one is only for healthy, energetic people.

Almost perfect, but room for improvement

We went for Telaga Waja Rafting and we had amaZing time! The driver picked us up on time and was very friendly. The pilot that was with us in the river boat( Topless) was also very professional and he made us feel so safe and comfortable. We were a bit scared in the beginning, but in the end we did not find this rafting any dangerous at all. Any body from age 8+ can do this!! However only thing that they could improve is food and drinks. We were told that we will be given drinks, but we were charged 25 000 RP( compared to normal Price 3000) we felt was a bit rip off. The food was very cold and kept outside where flies was flying around and touching the food. However this being said we still believe this was a great experience!!

Telaga Waja Rafting Tours

My family with 3 children at 8 to 14 years old switched the rafting tour from Ayung River to Telaga Waja once we found out there are steep stairs with 400 steps (which will take avout 20 minutes walk for those who are fit) at the starting and finishing points awaiting for us for rafting at Ayung River. Even though this is the first time we tried rafting, it was not as challenging as we thought and we really enjoyed the rafting . Everyone should try, at least once in a life time. Bali Rafting Tours offers the most affordable rafting tours as compared to other agents without compromising the quality of their service.

Fantastic fun, beautiful scenery, awesome day!

I booked our rafting online before even arriving in Bali. This company were very easy to deal with, I was able to arrange pickup and drop off at different locations (for an extra fee) as we were changing accommodation that day and it made sense to do the rafting as part of the drive. The rafting itself was brilliant! Only a few steep stairs at the start, our kids are 7 and 9 and managed easily. Even better NO STAIRS at the end. If some reviews say stairs they are reviewing a different company as there are lots of companies using the Telaga Waja river and our guide pointed out some of the other end points for these tours (straight up a cliff!! Glad we didn't have to drag our kids up there!) We rafted down 18km of river, including a 4m drop over a dam wall - that was pretty thrilling. Along the river the scenery is beautiful, lots of jungle, waterfalls and a few locals going about their daily business. We stopped halfway near a waterfall and could buy drinks for 20,000. It would have been good to also be able to purchase a snack as the whole thing lasted for 3 hours. Our guide did most of the work, his name was Wirra and we felt very safe in his hands - with young kids on board we weren't looking for anything too extreme and he always warned us when to hold on or when to expect a bump 'boom boom!'. At the end we were able to change and shower in basic but ok facilities, they provided towels. The toilets were so so, but it is a pretty remote location. The lunch was ok, nothing spectacular, but there were 5 different dishes to choose from. Although I think maybe the 5 star chef they advertise is a slight exaggeration...!

Muy recomendable. It is worthy, don't miss it

It has been an excellent activity, a driver came to pick us up. Later we did rafting, really good. The landscape was beautiful with plenty of waterfalls, coconuts trees, bananas trees and full of vegetation everywhere. Plenty of jumps on the river, really exciting. At the end we have some spicy lunch and driver took us back to our hotel. Hoy , 27 de junio de 2023, hemos realizado esta actividad. Pagamos 31 euros por persona, somos un grupo de 3. Un chófer vino a recogernos, después nos ofrecieron te o café y posteriormente hicimos el rafting. El nivel del agua del río Walaga es muy bajo, lo que obligaba al monitor a empujar la lancha constantemente para sortear las rocas. Pero ha merecido mucho la pena porque está lleno de rápidos y saltos. Hemos bajado una cascada de unos 3 MTS tumbandonos boca arriba. Hemos disfrutado un montón. La ducha era un chorro más que ducha. La comida estaba bien pero todo estaba picante. Recomiendo mucho la actividad.
