Great tour. Driver and guide were excellent and looked after us very well. The views from the top were stunning, but it was a bit crowded and noisy for my taste.

Mount Batur sunrise trek

Great driver and guide for the trip all together - were very caring and thoughtful throughout the whole trip. Managed to get very lucky with the view at the top and also beat the crowd, breakfast at the summit was also a nice addition. All in all definitely would suggest as it was a very memorable experience.

Nice first sunset experience in Bali

Driver and the guide are super helpful, friendly and welcoming. Tour was nicely arranged. Driver was very on time. Gave clear guidance and pre arrangement. Generally nice experience.

The 01:45 alarm was totally worth it

We were picked up at 02:30 from our hotel by Wira who was punctual and very pleasant. We chatted on our way to base camp. At base camp we met Riki who was our guide for the early morning trek up mount Batur. Riki was very knowledgeable and helped us up what was quite a tough hike. At the top he took loads of photos and videos of us and took us to all the viewing points. Breakfast was amazing with the eggs being cooked in the volcano. Best activity we’ve done all trip with such a sense of achievement at the end. After hiking back down Wira took us to a local coffee plantation where we got an insight in to how they make the coffee and then a tasting session. The coffee was needed after the early start. Massive thanks to Wira and Riki for a brilliant trip

Great experience

Really wonderful experience start from the prompt pickup by Mr. Bawa at 1.30 am from the hotel, well guided by Mr. Katuth, nice breakfast at the summit and drive back to the hotel.. Worth waking up at 1 am to enjoy this adventure..highly recommend this tour

Epic Experience Climbing Mount Batur!

We had an epic experience climbing Mount Batur on this trekking tour! If you’re staying in the Seminyak area it’s a very early 1.30am pick-up, followed by a long 2h drive to the start of the hike, but the ensuing experience is well worth it. Our hike to watch the sunset was spectacular and made all the more enjoyable by our guide Gunawa, who was fantastic. He was lovely to hike with and knew the best spots to take the most epic photos for us which we’ll treasure for years to come. The coffee plantation visit and tasting on the way home was interesting, too. Highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for an adventure in Bali!

Incredible sunrise on Mount Batur

This is one of the most amazing experiences. It was not easy to wake up early but SO WORTH IT to see the sunrise at the top of Mount Batur. From start to finish everything was perfect. The driver Kadek Agus picked us up bright & early and took the time to explain so much to us along the way. Our guide up Mt Batur, Ketut, was so great. Always making sure we were feeling okay and taking breaks as needed. At the top, we had a delicious breakfast - eggs, banana sandwiches, fruit and other treats. Ketut is also a great photographer! Taking so many pictures that well cherish forever. Make sure to pack some extra layers for the top, it can be quite chilly & we felt grateful to have packed our windbreakers! Thank you to Ketut & Kadek Agus for an incredible experience!

An explosive start to your vacation at Bali

We had the most wonderful time on our trek. Our guide Gun was very helpful and entertaining and motivated us to get to the top. He was also a great photographer and took really nice pictures of us. Our driver Kadek picked us up from our Airbnb and zoomed through Bali to ensure we reached the trek start point on time. The sunrise was worth the climb!

Magical hike up Mount BATUR

What a wonderful day we had climbing Mount Batur! Our driver Wira was fantastic and so punctual! Our hike to watch the sunset was magic and our guide Ketut was fantastic and took sensational photos for us. We loved visiting the hot springs and coffee plantation too. Highly recommend this day trip to anyone keen to explore this beautiful part of Bali!

Amazing!

Me and my friends did the mount Batur trek with Bali Trekking tour… It was amazing!! Wira our driver was great and his Dad was the perfect tour guide up and the down mountain. I highly recommend the trip!

Excellent value, seamless logistics and personalised experience of Mount Batur!

We booked onto the Group tour as a 2, but were collected in a private transfer and ended up with a guide just for us, which made the experience even better. Our guide I Ketut Let Tana was amazing and expertly guided us up the mountain. We learned so much and really enjoyed the breakfast he provided. He even took us to all the best photo spots and was our personal photographer - lovely guy. We would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to do the Mount Batur trek. Beautiful tour

The tour was beautiful from beginning to end! My driver Putu was great, on time for the pick up, nice and friendly and very helpful with sharing his knowledge about Bali. We chatted the entire drive and I really enjoyed his company. I did this tour by myself and I felt very safe and respected. The hike of Mount Batur was really fun to do in the night under the stars and the view of the sunrise was incredible. My guide (Cahyadi) was very nice and experienced, and I enjoyed his company. The hotspring was a nice way to relax after the hike. We arrived early and avoided the crowd. I highly recommend this tour, I booked it in advance from my country and wasn’t sure what to expect but everything went really smoothly and the experience was beyond my expectations 🙂

the driver was perfectly on time and eventhough it was only 2.30 in the morning he was wonderful! such a kind and nice guy who drove us around the whole day, very good company :)) when we arrived at the base camp we met our guide Gunawa, the funniest guy hahah, he was so supportive and kind and made our hike up de vulcano very pleasant. he is also a very good photographer! i’m sure you’ll come back after this trip with a camerarol full of instagram worthy pics! we were thinking of skipping the coffee plantation because we were so tired but do not!! it was surprisingly nice, even if u don’t like coffee there were diverse tea options that were also really good 😊

Well worth the early wakeup! Driver Agus was punctual and super nice and our guide Kiki was awesome! Highly recommend, if you are lucky enough to get clear views it is pretty spectacular

Amazing Experience!

We got picked up from the hotel in Ubud at 2.30, which all ran very smoothly. We met our guide (Putu) at the meet point and he was very friendly. We got given waters and there was an offer of tea or coffee before setting off. Putu was so helpful and put our mind at ease throughout the whole treck. On arrival at the summit, Putu made us some breakfast and showed off his impressive photography skills. The treck itself was trickier than expected as it really is a sharp incline but if you are moderately fit then you will be absolutely fine. The view from the top is certainly worth it! Thank you for helping us to experience this view in person!

Foggy sunrise, was still great!

I went with my friend and though it was cloudy/foggy and we missed the sunrise (I recommend not going on a hot day after the rain), we saw great views on the way down and the steam from the valcano was really cool. Our guide Putu was so kind and friendly and took many pictures for us, and shared about the mountain and culture. We also got a hot drink when we arrived at our starting point and some sweet crackers which was so nice. Wira, our driver was very friendly and we got to know him as we drove around in the day. We felt very safe with them both. The coffee plantation was better than we excpected and we would definitely recommend not skipping it. We were short on time as we needed to check out and Wira helped make sure everything worked out and we were on time. Thanks Putu and Wira for a fantastic day!

Great tour with driver and hiking guide!

This was an amazing tour onto Mt Batur! We didn't want to do the early sunrise hike, so we asked if we can do the tour at mid-day. They said it's no problem. The driver picked us up from our hotel at 8:30 am. We drove up the mountainside for 2h. Took a quick stop on the viewing platform of the outer caldera to take some pictures. Then we went down to the village inside the caldera. From there, we did the hike up onto the inner crater. We had a young girl from a local village as our hiking guide. She told us a lot about the life on the volcano. It was very interesting. Both the driver and the guide spoke great English. They were both super friendly and helpful. On top of the mountain, we cooked some eggs on the hot steam of the active volcano, had some other snacks and enjoyed the views. After that, we hiked back down. Walking through the village on the bottom is also interesting, because you can see how they grow spring onions, chilies and other vegetables. All in all, this was a fascinating experience! Would highly recommend!

Smooth hike with experienced guide and driver

Amazing experiance

This was well worth the early wake up. Our driver communicsted with us the night before to confirm pickup and was there on time. We got to base camp and warmed up with a hot drink before being introduced to our guide. Once we were ready we set off, there was no oressure to rush and he was very friendly and told us lots about the trek and surrounding area. We could stop for rests when needed and once at the top our guide found us a great spot to settle down and watch the sunrise. We received a nice big breakfast of banana and egg sandwiches and fruit and other snacks. Once the sun was up our guide escorted us around the walks and made sure we had lots of photos and videos taken, suggesting shots and angles to use. We chould choose when we were ready to start heading back down the mountain and again this was not rushed. Back to base and then driven back to our accomodation. Will definitely be using this service again.

Top experience

I am a female solo traveller and I really wanted to see the sunrise from the top of the Mount Batur. I have a medium level of fitness and I would not have been able to get to the end if it was not for the support and the presence of my amazing guide called Gun! He was professional and patient. The whole experience was amazing from start to finish: communication via Whatsapp was reactive and clear, pick up for transfer at my door bang on time, hot beverage and prep before departure, special breakfast made by guide at the top while watching the sun rise... It was great and I really recommend.

My Batur Trip !

I will give a 5star rating to my tour guide Gunawan and driver Agus. They both were extremely, kind friendly and helpful during my Batur hiking trip. Gunawan is a very seasoned guide , and understands the needs of his customer very well. He took care of me throughout the hike by ensuring that i was sufficiently hydrated at regular intervals, also taking breaks as and when i was tired , and also taking pics to capture the whole hiking experience. Agus , my driver , arrived dot on my time for pick-up. He was very friendly ans enaured that i reached base camp on time. All-in-all it was a very good experience. Highly recommended!

Mt. Batur w kids (12 and 15)

We had a great tour with our driver Kadek and guide Putu, both were very knowledgeable and helpful and accommodating for the children. The hike up the mountain was enjoyable and the views fantastic, our children had a great time too.

One of the best sights in Bali

Had a really fun experience hiking Mount Batur. I found the climb quite challenging, but the view at the top was breathtaking. Our driver told us a lot about Bali during our 1 hour drive to the foot of the mountain. Our guide Mr. Putu was the sweetest. He made sure to slow down a little when he saw us struggling to keep up the pace. He was so eager to make sure we had the best view and experienced. ♥️

The trip was exciting! So much that it was more then what I expected and gave me a new outlook on all of Bali and it’s people. Kadek Agus was an excellent driver to and from our trip, providing us with plenty things about Bali and being so kind and generous. Kadek Agus was also a great listener and could fluently speak English really well. I hope to come back to Bali again and go on another trip with him soon😃

Mt. Batur

We have been picked up by driver Agus in Kuta at 01.30 am. The drive was approx 2hrs. When we arrived to base camp, we were offered tea/coffee. Then we started going up with our guide Datuk. After 1h 15 min we have reached summit of Mt. Batur. Datuk made us great breakkie. We were very satisfied with the service and whole experience was great! We highly recommend this company and Datuk + Agus were really great companions! Sturdy footwear is a must as the track is loose gravel/scree and very slippery!

Would definitely recommend!

We got picked up perfectly one time by Ady, a very kind chauffeur who told us about the trip and what we could expect. Our tour guide was named Putu, a very funny and kind man who easily guided us up the mountain and made us breakfast at the top. The sunrise was stunning! Good and fun experience with good guides!

Mount Batur Sunrise Trekking Tour

Grateful that I had Agus who drive me to the mountain and Putu who guid me to the top of the mountain. Without neither of them I couldn't make it by myself. I go to gym almost 5 times a week, (but have to confess I didn't do much cardio workout) the Mount Batur made me out of breath constantly. The trail is very slippery due to the sandy formed soil and tiny stones. It is hard to find the route to go up before the sunrise without a guide. My guide, Putu, almost pulled me up to the top entire trekking because I constantly out of breath... Without him I couldn't make it to the top by foot and see the beautiful sunrise. He also very good at of time management. We saw the volcano steam before the crowd and head down the mountain early so we didn't get much dust. Agus drove me back to hotel fast and steady, so I still be able to have a good breakfast before heading to bed. He is very knowledgeable and talked to me a lot of local culture. I have to say, it is not only a day trip, but also a trip tha allows me to immense in the Bali culture. Very grateful for my brilliant driver and guide.

Mount Batur

What an amazing trip and 100% worth the 2:30am wake up. Our guide Ketut was a such a nice guy helping my girlfriend up the mountain when she was a little scared. Couldn’t recommend him enough!

10/10- would recommend!

The whole day was excellent. We got picked up at 2:30 am by our driver Agus, who kept in touch the whole time so there was no confusion. The hike up Mt Batur was tough but well worth it, taking between 1hr-1hr30, on the way up and the same on the way down. Breakfast was served by our guide Ricky, who was also fabulous, making sure we were okay and happy throughout. We were finished with the hike at about 7:30 and Agus took us straight to the rafting, which we started at about 9:30. Lots of stairs down to and up from the hike, but again worth it- lots of fun! Lunch was served in the restaurant- buffet style, which was excellent. The guides were great here too and we were back at our hotel by 1. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Beautiful sunrise and beautiful experience

Amazing experience! The driver (Kadek) picked us up in the hotel at 2.30 pm and took us to the starting spot. We started the adventure after a Balinese coffee that the team offered us. Kiki was our guide and she was super chill and fun, made sure we took breaks and was also a good photographer! We arrived at the top some time before sunrise and got a chance to see the evolution of sky colors. It was so beautiful. The journey is tiring but not too much. Take a few breaks along the way, and you'll make it. At the end, Kadek took us to a coffee plantation and taught us so much about the Balinese culture. We loved the experience!

Amazing trek with amazing team

The experience was great. Our guide was Gunawan. Best guide we could have. He puts very good moods during the hike, motivates and helps us. Our driver, Agus, was also great. Had very nice chats with him during the commute to Mount Batur. I recommend!

Magical experience!

The experience was magical. Ketut took very good care of the 2 of us. He is a very experienced guide! I would highly reccomend Ketut as a guide! He speaks very good English and tells a lot about Mount Batur and the surroundings!

Do it!

Amazing and worthwhile. From the pick up at our door, to the cosy cup of coffee at the base of the volcano, to our amazing & kind guide Ketut, everything was great. The hike is steep but it’s only about 2 hours. Just wear good shoes. Our guide gave us a hand whenever we needed and was only with the 4 of us. He told us some information at the top and served us a lovely breakfast with boiled eggs, cookies, fruit and banana sandwiches. Bring 250-300k cash or card if you want to get a motorbike down because otherwise it might take quite a while. The motorbike was so fun as well and the driver very kind. The coffee plantation is very interesting and was nice to try different types of coffee and herbal tea! Our driver drove us quite far afterwards on request with no extra cost. Recommended.

Difficult Hike

Other reviews said that this hike is manageable. This hike was very very difficult. I am someone who works out 4-5 times a week and only managed to get half way up the mountain. The hike is extremely steep and it’s all sand. The sunrise from half way up was great. Our guide was kind and patient letting us take breaks as needed during the hike but kept trying to push us to the top even though we were happy watching the sunrise from some rocks half way up. They had dirt bikers offering to take you to the top for 350,000 IDR which we didn’t think was worth it. We did this hike in gym shoes and I wished I had my hiking boots for this hike. There is a lot of dirt and sand that will get in your eyes and mouth.

Amazing Bali trekking Tour

Kadek Dwika was amazing! Safe and speaks fluent english! Will def use him again next time. Bali trekking tour is the best!

It was my second time hiking Mt Batur and this time I went with Bali trekking tour and my guide was Ketut. He was excellent.
