Great experience!

We had an amazing time on this trip. Cir picked us up from our hotel and gave us all of the information that we needed, along with a friendly face! Coco then took us up the mountain and took incredible pictures for us that we will cherish! Cir then drove us to the hot springs and coffee tour and looked after us the whole way. Overall it was a great experience, with incredible service from both of our drivers. I’d highly recommend!

Must Do 4wd Batur Sunrise 🌅

What an absolutely amazing experience, the views were Spectacular. Our drivers and guides Komang & Kadek made the experience even more remarkable with knowledge, hospitality and humour 😀 😅🤣 the time spent at the hot springs could have been longer, apart from that this tour is a must do if visiting Ubud or Bali in general. Great overall experience 14/06/24

What a fantastic experience - the sunrise was breathtaking, the black lava site was super interesting and the hot springs was incredibly relaxing. Would highly recommend to any travellers looking at a unique experience. Our driver, Kachong, was an absolute gentlemen and nothing was too much for him. The young lad who drove us in his 4WD (Rhoder??) was very knowledgable and took some great photos of us. We were provided with fantastic service and would absolutely do this again.

A beautiful driver!

A beautiful experience. I booked this excursion with my boyfriend during our stay in Bali and we had a great time. We traveled the whole journey by jeep to Mount Batur together with the driver Koman who took a lot of pictures of us and made us have a lot of fun. Experience to be redone, I recommend it! Fantastic experience!

This was the most amazing trip! Kacong picked us up efficiently at our hotel in Ubud at 3.15am and then we travelled 1 hour to Mt Batur. We then met our driver for the jeep and saw a beautiful sunrise where we had some amazing pictures. Once we were finished, we then went in the jeeps to Black Lava, and then back to our driver Kacong. Kacong then took us to hot water springs and then onto a coffee plantation. All morning Kacong and the ATV drivers took photos of us. It was a fantastic trip and we were then dropped back at our hotel in Ubud for 11.30. Thank you!

Definitely do the Mt Batur Sunrise Jeep Tour

Our Jeep driver, Komag, did an amazing job driving up the rutted dirt road in the dark and then taking us to the lava fields after the sunrise…..he also took amazing pictures with our phone cameras!! The view from Mt Batur was amazing - even though the day we went the clouds came in before sunrise, it was a fantastic experience!

Amazing Mt Batur Sunrise Experience

We met Panca at the meeting spot and were taken up the mountain to the ideal location for a beautiful sunrise. It started raining…we were given a blanket and umbrella which was appreciated. I was hopeful for the sunrise regardless of the weather and thankfully the clouds parted and we were truly rewarded with an absolutely wonderful sunrise experience. Panca assisted my many beautiful photos which I absolutely adore! You have the option to walk to the top of the mountain or take a taxi to the caldera. Panca offered us breakfast several times . After sunrise we went to look at the lava….also beautiful!! Thank you for a spectacular experience!!

Brilliant day with great views and people.

Had such a great time with Jodi our tour guide in the Jeep! Absolute legend of a bloke, such a good laugh. Looked after us, got us coffee and breakfast and his jeep never missed a beat! Our pickup and dropoff driver for the day Pur was great aswell! Top bloke, had alot of fun with him throughout the day. Both guides were very knowledgeable in the local information and culture. 2 great young men. Had a great time, would recommend to everyone

Perfect just this!

Today we took the tour to see the sunrise at Mount Batur and it was incredible! One of the most beautiful things we've ever seen and we highly recommend the experience for other people to share the same unique feeling. We chose the Jeep tour and, it is worth mentioning, that the car goes up to part of the volcano, but the view from where it parks is already satisfactory. Our guide was Made Panca and he was extremely professional and competent from the beginning of the tour. He drove very safely, calmly, and gave us a very tasty breakfast with hot chocolate. Not to mention the incredible photos he took, which look like a professional photographer. Incredible!!! An extremely important fact, as it is these photographs that will immortalize our lived moments and transform them into beautiful memories. Thank you very much to everyone on the team, and especially to Made Panca!!! It was amazing!!!!!!! Again: I highly recommend it!!!!

Entertaining 4wd adventure with Manny Pac-Man

It was genuine fun and the driver Yoga (aka Manny “Pac-Man) made the experience very entertaining and his 4wd driving experience was top notch.

A wonderful experience

You need to wait patiently for the operator to contact or reply you but they will send a driver to contact you eventually and pick you up from your accomodation at 3 am. Our first driver was Aditya and he was very nice and friendly to us and our kids. We chatted a lot on our way up and down the mountain. He's also very helpful and doesn't mind going the extra mile to fulfil your request. Our jeep drivers, Bayu and Bagus, took us on the second leg of the journey up the mountain to see the sunrise. They were also very friendly, shared a lot with us about their culture and lives as Balinese, and offered to take many nice photos for us. A hot drink and simple breakfast were included in the tour and we are very grateful for the wonderful experience.

AMAZING SUNRISE JEEP TOUR

Amazing trip with the Sutradana. Jeep tour was great and you’re going up with the sky full of starts, then you’re meeting the sunrise at the peak ( please note they’re are not driving to the highest peak since it’s a jeep tour and you probably need to go hiking if you want up to peak and it takes 2.5h from the bottom of mountain). You eat breakfast at jeep roof with the sunrise view, precious moment. Drivers are fun and happy to take a lot of pics for you✨ then Black Lava stop was fun too, that is the lava left after volcano explosion in 1993. It’s a cool place to take pics. We also went to the hot springs after jeep tour. You’re given a welcome drink and towel and hot springs area are so massive so it’s not that crowded. Food there is great too if you want to buy it. I liked the tour and highly recommended.

Agung is a SUPERSTAR!

I had a solo trip and I thought I was going to feel out of place and it was totally the opposite!! Agung is an amazing young girl with a lot of facts of every corner of every place, she’s really knowledgeable and nice! I had a lot of fun!

One of the best activities. Great views and great people. We made a mistake and forgot to book the pick up but they send immediately a very nice and friendly driver Kacong.

Best Experience Ever

One of the best experiences ever with the best drivers for the trip. They made our trip to Mt. Batur very interesting. Mr. Ball, the driver was very friendly and helpful and speaks good english. He picked up us from the hotel at 3:20 am and took us to the base of mt. Batur where we got transferred to a 4wd jeep. The jeep driver was a good person as well and both the drivers acted as our guide. We enjoyed the view from the sunrise point and had lots of fun. On our way back, Mr. Ball took us to the Mt Batur natural hotspring where he helped us with everything from get the tickets to finding the locker for us. He then drove us to the coffee plantations where we got to taste different flavors of coffee. He dropped us safely back to our hotel at the end of the tour. Everyone should look for this driver who is a great driver cum guide.

Amazing trip!

This was a very nice and organized trip. Unfortunately it was a cloudy and rainy morning hence couldn’t really get a food sunrise view but nevertheless enjoyed the time out there at the mountain followed by the lava rock site and hot springs. Ayung and Bressi, our mountain drivers did an amazing job and took great pictures! All in all it was a great experience!

Amazing view and friendly stuff

My wife and I joined the Mount Batur 4WD Jeep Tour. Our driver, Ari, greeted us warmly and was incredibly hospitable. He shared a wealth of information about Balinese culture and our planned itinerary. Our jeep driver, Jeiy, was also exceptionally friendly and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed right on schedule. Jeiy captured stunning photos and cinematic videos of us before and during sunrise at Mount Batur and provided insights about the mountain's breathtaking views. The entire team was incredibly friendly, making this tour highly recommended! We'd rate it 10 stars out of 5! 🙏⭐️

Good trip, worth doing.

Everything went smoothly with Arta picking us up on time from our guesthouse in Ubud and made sure we got to the start of the jeep tour on time. Made then drove us safely up the mountain and got us a good viewing spot for sunrise and for the lava fields, he also helped us to take some nice pictures we wouldn't otherwise have been able to do ourselves. We really enjoyed the rest of the tour to the hot springs and the coffee plantation. We appreciate also that Arta took us all the way to our next hotel in Nusa Dua, thank you!

Best Tour Ever!

This experience was absolutely amazing! Our driver picked us up from our hotel right on time, and drove us to the base of the mountain where we transferred to our jeep driver (take a gravol if you get carsick - the road is very windy and there is a lot of stopping / speeding up). There are bathrooms in the parking lot, but beware: there is no toilet paper and you’re supposed to pay 3,000 to use it. Our Jeep driver was Widi (ask for him if you can!), and my partner and I had the Jeep to ourselves so we were lucky! We got up to the “sunrise point”, and Widi went to get us some hot drinks (choice of tea, coffee, or hot chocolate). After that, he went and made us breakfast (banana sandwiches, bananas, and hard-boiled eggs). This is where it gets good!! We were technically already at the sunrise point, but Widi insisted we could go to a better and higher point. He was the only driver willing to go up there (a little steep, but he knows what he’s doing). Once we were up there, we waited for the sun to ride. We were surprised that Widi had a bunch of poses for us to do on the lookout deck and on the Jeep, and he took a few cinematic videos of us! He got some amazing photos for us that we will treasure forever! After that, we drove to the black lava formations and walked around a little. Then, Widi took us back to the parking lot and our shuttle driver took over. We drove to the hot springs, where we got towels, a welcome drink, and a locker rental. We were able to spend about 1.5 hours there. After that, we went to a coffee plantation, and we were shown different kinds of beans / plants to flavour teas. We were surprised that we got a sampling flight of 14 teas and coffees to try! We also opted to spend 50k to try a special kind of coffee (very good)! After that, it was time to go back to our hotels (our shuttle was shared with another couple). Our shuttle driver was very nice and asked if we wanted to stop at a Balinese restaurant for lunch, which was great because we were all very hungry! After lunch, we got back to our hotels. All in all, I think the trip was around 11-12 hours long. This is so worth the money! Also: there are merchants that come up to you on two parts of the trip (bracelets at the mountain, and black sand art at the black lava location) All in all: book this tour!!!

The activity was more than we could have ever expected! Our drivers Arta and Mere were very kind and helpful throughout the day! Mount Batur Sunrise Trek

This is our first time to Indonesia and we are absolutely loving it. The mount batur sunrise trek in 4WD Jeep was the hightlight of our trip. Special thanks to our tour guide Miss Agung for the hospitality. She was one of the sweetest person we came across. Overall we the best experience. Totally worth a visit

A complete experience

A very good experience to have, starting with photos taken by our driver Widi, with great attention to detail, as soon as the sun rose in that landscape worthy of being seen once in a lifetime. We then stopped at the place where the volcano's lava solidified in its last eruption, now turning black and then once again our driver and guide Widi helped us take very good photos. Then the driver Mere took us to an appetizing SPA with hot water from the volcano where in its pools we could dive into that super appetizing water. Returning to the hotel, Mere took us to the local coffee plantation, where we tasted good coffee and tea. It is important to say that Mere initially carried out our transportation from the hotel to the starting point of the experience, on time and always friendly.

Sunrise 4x4 Mt Batur

Even though he unfortunately we didn’t get to see the sunrise due to the weather we still had a very enjoyable morning with the team. Our drivers Mere and Arta were great. Arta took special care of us and gave us so many opportunities for photoshoots. He also created a little video for us. 5* for this. Thank you for the enjoyable experience.

Go on a clear day and you'll have a great view

This tour was definitely an experice we enjoyed. Mere picked us up earlier than mentioned in the booking to ensure we didn't miss the sunrise. Thereafter he transfered us to Widi for a ride up the mountain on the jeep. We were served breakfast slightly before the sunrise. As the sun began to show, we trailed up further in the jeep where WiFi caught the best pictures. He was our favorite photographer of all the tour guides we had this week. Once we decended from the mountain, we were taken through the farmland areas to the black lava rocks. There were a few families selling souvenirs but nothing too pushy. Thereafter we drove to the hot springs. The hot springs were so relaxing. A towel and keyed locker is provided along with a free drink. There are showers and adequate changing stations as well so bring a swimsuit. As promised, Mere was right outside the exit gates when we finished up. After a long day, we did end up hungry. There is no lunch provided even though it was about 4PM by the time we arrived back at our hotel. We didn't check if the hot springs had any food options as we aren't fond of eating near pool areas. There are also no food options in between so, If you're like us, be sure to bring some treats/snacks to keep your energy and blood sugar levels up. All of the trekking in this tour is minimal and easy.

Unique Experience

My family and I really enjoyed our trip with Yoga and Mere! From pick up to drop off, they have been very attentive to our experience. The sunrise is amazing and going with a Jeep is definitely a better/easy way to get up. I’d recommend this unique experience!

The beauty of mount batur was amazing and priceless!

We really no expect the experience not only because of the nature and creation but also the people around us and assist us. "KACONG" was the driver to pick us up. And he was not just on time, he was early in our call time, knowing its 2:15am. He drives smooth and very friendly! "ARTAA" the boy that treated us as his own family. Always looks after to our needs. He even suggest to stop in their house just to get warmer comforter and towel. And with the wonderful pictures he did, it was so worth it! He made us our trip extra memorable. Informative and very reliable driver of 4x4 jeep! I hight recommend this 2 beautiful employee of yours! A very humble and kind persons i met!

The best Mt Batur sunrise experience

We wanted to book the hiking Mt Batur trip but ended up booking the jeep tour and we are so glad we did this (heard from others that the hiking tour is a bit demanding). Our driver Widi was THE best. He not only took us to the best spot to watch the sunrise but took amazing photos and videos!! If you are like as we were you will get him as your driver or you can ask to have him:) We also enjoyed the hot springs afterwards and the coffe tasting was perfectly rounding up this tour! Highly recommend it.

Fantastic day tour to see Mt. Batur sunrise, hot Springs, black volcanic Rock and an added extra trip to Trunyan Cemetery. I made the booking the night before at around 8pm and was promptly contacted by a young driver named Mere who confirmed the pickup address and time at our hotel in Ubud. Mere was waiting for us, on time at 3.15am at the hotel in a clean and modern car. He was an absolute delight! He was very polite, positive, knowledgable about the tour and local area and had a great balance of making good conversation but not overbearing and drove in a very safe manner. At a point, we realised we wanted to add an extra journey to the end of this tour which Mere was very helpful in organising quickly. The extra tour was to Trunyan Cemetery - which was very unique and interesting (maybe not for everyone but this was our desire to visit - google Trunyan Buriel/Cemetery if interested). He organised a boat at short notice with a local operator who was also very professional and fair priced. Mere was happy to wait for us while on this side tour and was there to pick us up and return to Ubud without issues. Back to the main tour - Batur sunrise and hot pools. Once we arrived at one of the villages closer to the base of Mt. Batur, Mere handed us over to another awesome local guide name Made who had the Jeep to take us up to the Mt. Batur sunrise area. Once again, Made was an engaging host who was also very polite and made sure we had a great time while being very professional, he answered any of our questions about the area, tour and trip. The jeep ride up was definitely a bit bumpy but a lot of fun and Made was a very safe driver on and off road when I ch out us at ease. After a short while we reached the sunrise location and Made found a great parking spot just in front of the small building where we were served breakfast with a warm banana fritter sandwich, boiled egg, fresh coffee and a chocolate biscuit snack - simple but delicious. After a short while (we beat the crowds) the sun began to rise and Made directed us to sit on top of the jeep where we had an unobstructed view of Mt. Agang and behind, Mt. Agung as well as Mt. Batur lake and across to Trunyan village. Made also provided us with a warm blanket which was a nice touch. There were some clouds that blocked some of the sunrise but this made for some beautiful shapes to watch move around and there was even a few lightning bolts in the distance which really added to the unique experience. We stayed dry the whole trip. Made was happy to take as many pictures as we wanted from all sorts of angles, you could tell he was decent with a camera and the photos turned out great! Once the sunrise was up, we got back in the jeep and decended Mt. Batur carefully and headed to the black lava rock formations. This was a cool area where we took more pictures and were offered very high quality and unique handmade paintings for sale by a local artist. These paintings were really great and I regret not purchasing any - they would make an amazing gift. No pushy sales tactics here either which was really nice. After some brief exploring Made took us back to meet Mere again who then drove us to the natural hot Springs. This was definitely a highlight of the tour. The water is crystal clear, you get a private locker, showers for after and there is also a bar attached - a very classy place where there are many pools to choose from at warm and comfortable temperatures. The views of Mt. Batur lake while you relax and soak were amazing and its a good time to either keep to yourself or socialise with some other tourists. There was also a welcome drink on offer and mention of a coffee tasting but we had already done that in a prior tour. Once we finished up, we showered and met Mere at the car park. Normally the tour would then return to your hotel but as mentioned, Mere happily took us to a local village where we met the boat driver who took us on our extra side tour to Trunyan Cemetery and back. Once we competed our side tour of approximately one hour we were pleased to see Mere waiting for us as promised at the dock. Mere was happy to wait and then returned us back to our hotel in Ubud. I highly recommend anyone to take this well priced tour and if you are lucky enough to get Mere or Made as drivers, don't hesitate to ask any questions. They are super friendly local humans and will help out where they can.

Unique and Highly Recommended Experience

We had a phenomenal time on this experience. Our hote transfer - driven by Jik Grace - made the experience so easy and smooth. Our jeep driver - Widi - was very knowledgeable having grown up in the local area, and truly made this a special experience. Would 100% recommend this experience for anyone travelling to Bali - it's truly a unique opportunity.

Amazing experience at Mt.Batur

4 of us had booked for this experience and I cannot recommend this enough to anyone who wants to have the best experience at Mt. Batur. He were picked up by mere at 3 AM. Sleepy and jaded, we were brought to our active senses.... Thanks to our bright and enthusiastic driver for the day Mere. He has gone above and beyond in making sure we had a memorable experience. I would definitely recommend both this experience and mere for an amazing time.

I am super grateful for this experience and want to give a special shoutout to our drivers Mere and Arta who were very nice and brought us everywhere early before the crowds showed up. We were 1st to come to the mountain and therefore got the best spot to watch the sunrise. The hot spring and coffee plantation were a nice surprise as I didn’t really know what to expect. The coffee was AMAZING!

Wonderful trip

We loved this excursion, our driver mere was very friendly and allowed us to go at our own pace, he arrived at our hotel promptly for pick up and was energetic despite it being 3am! I was not able to select a pick up location when booking so you may have to message the host to organise this as we did. Our jeep driver Widi was also fantastic and helped us take pictures and gave us lots of information about the mountain. Overall we would recommend this tour

Once in a lifetime experience

Amazing location, the sunrise is not to be missed! Mount Batur is very magical and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The drivers Jero and Jeiy, that took us around are Mount Batur locals and were very thoughtful and kind. Both drivers were very knowledgeable about the lands history and made our trip one we won’t forget! They also took amazing photos. The jeep definitely made the experience more fun! Would recommend.

Awesome experience!

The rocky drive up to the top to see the sunrise was a thrill! It was nice to have breakfast while waiting for the daybreak and the view from the top was beautiful! Weather was great, the driver was communicative and pleasant. We loved how the tour wasn’t rushed, the driver would ask to let him know when we were ready to move on, so that was great! We loved the tour and seeing the pictures after! Thank you so much!

Very memorable

Jero was a great driver very friendly attitude, happy to be there. He waited patiently for us. Widi was our guide on the volcano. He loved his job he was so happy to be there, he took almost 200 photos of us!!! He knew all the angles. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable experience parked in the best spots and was very informative.

Sunrise beauty 🌅

Had the best time on this tour both Tawan and Arta made the trip extra special. Arta was very kind to take lots of photos for me and clearly knew how to take some amazing ones using just my iPhone and a light he had. He had a lot of local knowledge to share and as a solo female traveller I felt in very safe hands. Highly recommend.
