A Day We'll Never Forget - Yande an incredible host

Truly an incredible experience. Action-packed day of waterfalls, coffee plantation visit, rice plantation visit, swing, purification ceremony, wood carving exhibit, brilliant lunch overlooking rice paddies. Yande and his daughter Tia were exceptional guides - knowledgeable, friendly, just wonderful hosts. 10/10 would recommend to all.

Our guide Wayan Berata is the nicest Guy on Earth, he was very pleasent, an excellent and secure driver and he shows us everything. For every question he had an answer. We made a lot of Fotos, therefor he took us to the right spots. Excellent.

I had an amazing experience on this day - all thanks to the driver Wah Ko! He was so knowledgeable about everywhere we went, Ubud, and Bali culture and I learned so much while having a great time! He is also the best photographer in the game and I have amazing sunrise photos of the rice paddies and all the locations we went. If you come to Ubud you have to do this tour!

Wonderful Ubud experience - June 2024

On our first holiday to Bali, we chose to stay at a Nusa Dua resort and booked this full day tour for 2 adults + 2 teenage children. Our guide Berata was absolutely fantastic. From the hotel pickup until drop-off, he provided a wealth of information on Balinese culture and history and was very knowledgeable when answering all the questions we had. The locations we visited on this tour were incredible and memorable. Highly recommend this tour and driver.

Amazing day with Ma-De in Ubud

Ma-de was an amazing host for an entire day for my wife and I. We went to the sacred monkey forest, where he showed us all the best spots, took amazing photos for us, and even showed us how to call a monkey to sit on our laps! We then drove to the Tirta Empul temple, where Ma-de educated us on the Hindu culture, history, and traditions of the Balinese people. After a stop at the Tegallungan Waterfall, we visited a coffee plantation, where a local guide showed us how coffee is grown, picked, ground, and roasted, and gave us a free coffee and tea tasting! We then drove to an amazing lunch spot with a breathtaking view and a jungle swing. Finally, we visited the Tegallalang Rice Fields, where Ma-de showed us the different types of rice grown, and how the rice is planted and harvested. The entire time, Ma-de was an exceptional driver, a great host, and a knowledgeable local who loves sharing his culture with tourists. He made the day special for us, and we are lucky to have met him. Plus, he is a great photographer and knows all the best angles! Highly recommend Hire Bali Driver for touring Ubud. Thank you Ma-de!

Amazing full day tour of Ubud with great driver

Such a great experience highly recommend. We were debating renting a car and driving ourselves but were so glad we hired someone instead. Ma-de knew all the local tips and trick for the road/attractions and was very knowledgeable/willing to teach us about the Balinese culture. He went with us to the monkey forest and helped us take some fun pics as well as tell us about all the monkey’s backgrounds. He also showed us around the waterfall, rice fields, swings, and temple where he explained each locations history and explained things from a locals point of view. Along the way he also took us to a coffee plantation to try Luwak coffee and a local family’s wood carving shop all for free. He’s very friendly and knows the local guides very well. Would highly recommend him. We got lunch at the tour’s recommended place and the food was so good (seafood curry and friend duck) with a view of the rice fields. Will be recommending this tour to any friends who come to Ubud. Thank you Ma-de for an unforgettable experience!

Fun in the Jungle !!🐒🐒

Our Driver Kiut is an amazing tour guide, he explains so much to us about the culture here and really if you want to know something or are curious about what something means, ask him, he is very knowledgeable and will tell you so much and explain and show you things, on the side as well. I definitely would recommend using Kiut as your driver when you come to Bali!!! Definitely!! A HUGE THUMBS UP!! Jungle tour was so great!!

Ubud highlights in one day!

What a great way to see the main highlights of Ubud in one day. I would highly recommend the tour guide Merta. He has great knowledge of Ubud & Bali. He is wonderful with kids too. He made us feel so welcome and was super attentive. The restaurant we had lunch at was amazing. Probably the best Indonesian meal I've had so far. We visited the Monkey forest, Rice terraces, Ubud Swing (& lunch), Waterfall, Holy temple (& market shopping). A fantastic day, very memorable!

This was a mother daughter trip. We both enjoyed our self’s very much. There was a good mixture of fun and cultural experience. Our tour guide Sunarta went above and beyond, he took us to a couple of unexpected places. He was very considerate and went at our pace, never felt rushed. Loved it. Would definitely recommend.

All the places we visited were very beautiful (special mention for Tegalalang rice terrace) but what really made the difference was our guide Yogi. He’s been very kind and friendly and gave us a lot of information about the places we visited. Thank you Yogi!

I was happy to be able to take a private tour with guide Kantun. He took good pictures of each tourist attraction, so I was able to leave family photos and good memories. He was a kind person who I would like to meet again the next time I come to Bali.

An almost perfect day in Ubud! Thank you, Gusde!

Our driver Gusde, was professional, knowledgeable and made our trip to Ubud extremely fun and easy. He was on time and made sure we had everything we needed. He knew where to take the best photos so we could have great memories to look back on. The Rice Terraces are beautiful and the elephant sanctuary is a place we'll remember, even years from now. The only issue we see is that the itinerary inlcudes the "coffee plantation." It's not a plantation. It's a small area where they have a few plants, three animals in cages and they bring out a large selection of coffees and teas to sample. We enjoyed the teas so we agreed to buy a couple of bags (we should have known better) to take home. When we opened the packages at home, we saw that what's in the package is actually flavored sugar powder. Why include this place in the tour?? We paid almost $20 for two bags of sugar, so it's clear that the coffee plantation is a scam. The tour operators sell this as an option right from the beginning so we don't blame Gusde for stopping there. It was a really disappointing experience in what was otherwise a wonderful day.

Great expirience with Lewer

We booked this in the App GetYourGuide. Our guide Lewer was very friendly and knowledgeable especially at the Tempel. He brought us to an old community tempel and explained everything in detail. We could notice that he is part of the local culture. One spot were also the coffee plantations where we tried luwak coffee made from barries which have been eaten and passed through digestive tract of an asian palm civet. We also visited monkey forrest and it was also a great expirience, the monkeys are unafraid of the visitors because they meet them every day. We also saw the rice fields where our guide also explained to us how the work on the rice fields was back in the days! We were really happy with the expirience and we would book it again. The best of Ubud

We had a half day trip with a driver in Ubud. Sunarta was more than a driver. A very kind person and professional driver who explained everything we were interested in. He showed us the most beautiful things Bali has to offer, sights, nature and places that are very photogenic. He was the best guide for us throughout the trip. For the price we paid, we got much more than we expected. I recommend the company and Mr. Sunatra because you will get an experience you will never forget. Thank you Sunatra.

Waterfall , Temple and Rice terrace

the day was wonderful! ask for Henra! He speaks English very well and is an all-round guide, he will make you have a wonderful day. He was punctual, kind, and the service is with a top level car that will make you feel like a real VIP. we saw the waterfalls, we entered the most important temple in Ubud, we saw the local markets along the landscape, the monkey forest, the rice terraces and the jungle swing. all the stops were lovely and we are truly satisfied with our honeymoon. thanks again Henra!

We had a great day with our driver and guide Dana. We visited 2 beautiful waterfalls, an ancient temple, rice terraces and coffee plantation. Topped off with a delicious lunch overlooking the jungle. Positive Experience with Adi at Hire Bali Driver

Our driver Mang Adi is great!!!!! We couldn’t ask for a better driver/guide. He keeps us on track when it comes to time especially when we have several places to go in our itinerary for the day. He Is very personable and very mature for his age. If and when we go back to Bali, we will only go with Adi at HBD!!!

You can not miss this tour!! It was incredible!! Especially with the best most helpful driver Eka. The tour was completely in our own time able to do whatever we wanted at each of the amazing stops. Everything is sorted for you just relax and get comfortable as you are taken around by Eka. Just bring a little cash for some entry fees. He was so helpful and give us great recommendations and was able to fit the tour to our needs for stopping to go for an amazing authentic lunch in the tranquil countryside away from busy Ubud and after telling us all about the spots to shop in the evening.
